  • Java: Possible to consolidate empty subdirectories for packages that only contain other packages?

    Good afternoon, all. I'm not too hopeful for a "yes" here, but if anyone can figure it out, the folks at SO can. I have a Java project that has the following package structure: src |-net | |-binarymuse | |-gwt | |-client | | |-ui | | |-project | | |-Project.java | |-Project.gwt.xml |-overview.html I would like to consolidate the empty subdirectories in the src/ folder so that instead of /src/net/binarymuse/gwt/client/ui/project/ I'd have /src/net.binarymuse.gwt/client.ui.project/. Is this possible? Thanks.

    Is there a way to transfer C++ preprocessor definitions into a custom pre-link step procedure call as a command-line parameter or export them into a file any other way? Example: Let's say, I have a c++ project, and in it's Debug configuration I put a preprocessor definition like MAKUMBA_OBA=0x13 Then I add custom pre-link step which executes some javascript like sarahjessicaparker.js /to tomsrhinoplasty $(MAKUMBA_OBA) It would be great, if it just worked, but I never get a third parameter in my js. So the question is: how to pass a preprocessor definition to s script?

    I'm trying to localize a Windows 8 Metro style app as described in a guide on MSDN. This worked very well so far, but now I'm trying to localize a string containing a non-breaking space which appears in a XAML file (originally as hexadecimal xml-escaped string: &#x00a0). Just putting the above string into the Resources.resw file does not work, it appears just as &#x00a0. What do I have to do to get a non-breaking space in my localizations?

  • Maven2 not compiling source

    Hi, I am new to Maven2 and have been having an issue with the compiling of the source for a RAR. Maven currently copies all the information located at my sourceDirectory instead of compiling it even though the console states that the source is being compiled. If I navigate to the sourceDirectory I find all my source files with no compiled class files. I have tried changing my outputDirectory to a different location and when I inspect this directory I find that it only copied my source files instead of compiling them. I have added an example of my POM.   • Naming selenium grid nodes. Spawning a specific node

    I'm trying to implement a kind of default queues in selenium hub. There is a possibility to specify node's name (actually its environment, smth like "firefox on ubuntu" or "chrome on windows"). Selenium grid itself has a default queue, it works according to 'First In, First Out' principle. But I want to prioritize some of my tasks given to selenium server. I have no possibility to introduce custom queue (seems like there is no API for that), that's why I decided to separate queue's logic from selenium server. I'll only call a specific node with specific name (environment) for example "firefox important node" or smth like that. So, I want to know how to directly tell selenium which node to use for my task? And generally, am I thinking in a right way?   • Unable to install gem "pg" on Ubuntu 12.10 (AMD64)

    I've been (unsuccessfully) trying to install the "pg" gem on my ruby 1.9.3-p286 but nothing seems to work. I've already installed postgresql (9.1), libpq-dev and a few others like postgresql-server-dev-9.1. I've tried to pass the "with-pg-config" flag to the gem install but simply nothing seems to work.   • Is it possible to call BlazeDS from Java?

    Basically I'm trying to proxy some webservices locally (for reasons I won't go into now) and then have a Java application call it. I'm looking at BlazeDS since it seems to do just this, mostly to avoid the crossDomain.xml file required by Flex to call webservices. However I can't seem to find any reference on how to connect through a Java client (probably using Axis2). Any suggestions, and especially tutorials, would be greatly appreciated.

  • TFS2010 - How can you change the "State" for a Task?

    We are using Tasks to track individual development items and the "out of the box" configuration gives us only 2 states - Active and Closed. We would like to change it to: Assigned In Development In Test Ready for Production Closed (In Production) Any ideas on how to accomplish this? We've been through everything in the Admin site. I fine changing it in the DB if necessary but am not sure what should be changed - or if it is even in the DB. TIA
