  • coding on back button of navigation based application??

    In one view during a function call i am assigning 1 to a flag...when i navigate back to previous view i want the the flag value to be retained to that view...how cAn i do coding on the button that appears on the screen to navigate back to the previous screen might be able to do it or is there any better solution???

    Hi, I have a radio group which is validated for required. It works fine except when in certain cases I need to disabled first radio button leaving user to select one from remaining. Even in this case radios are validated but error message is not displayed. I believe its due to error message's association with first radio. Disabling other radio except first works fine too. Is there way around?

  • Drag and Drop from another application with mouse button down does not fire event

    I am trying to drag and drop a file onto a control in my application. The problem is that when you hold the mouse button down (i.e. dragging from widows explorer), my app does not fire any of the form events. They all work fine if the mouse is not down. Is appears that I need to enable the 'AllowDrop' for the application (it is enabled on the form) What am I missing? I am developing in vb.net 2008 in windows 7 environment

  • Distinguish between screen timeout and power-button-press?

    Hi, my app does something when the screen goes black, but I want it to only carry out that task if the screen was turned off "by itself", through a screen timeout - NOT when the user presses the power-button. Is there any way to distinguish between those two events? ACTION_SCREEN_OFF obviously fires in both cases, and I haven't found any other intents that might match what I'm looking for.     I have two buttons which call the same function. That functions signature is - (IBAction)eraseTextField {...} I would like to figure out what button called the function. So I would like for the functions signature to be something like - (IBAction)eraseTextField: (id)sender {...}.   • Multiple button presses for Android 2.x

    I am relatively new to this still, and I have been developing a small app that would benefit greatly from a user being able to press 2 buttons at one time. What is the best method for achieving this? I dont think that an OnClickListener works like that, and I have seen examples for doing this with an OnTouch event. However, I do not know how to set up button presses with and OnTouch event.
