• Exporting info from PS script to csv

  Hi, This is a powershell/AD/Exchange question.... I'm running a script against a number of Users to check some of their attributes however I'm having trouble getting this to output to CSV. The script runs well and does exactly what I need it to do, the output on screen is fine, I'm just having trouble getting it to directly export to csv. The input is a comma seperated txt file of usernames (eg "username1,username2,username3") I've experimented with creating custom ps objects, adding to them and then exporting those but its not working.... Any suggestions gratefully received.. • Is it possible to implement an infinite IEnumerable without using yield with only C# code?

  Edit: Apparently off topic...moving to Programmers.StackExchange.com. This isn't a practical problem, it's more of a riddle. Problem I'm curious to know if there's a way to implement something equivalent to the following, but without using yield: IEnumerable<T> Infinite<T>() { while (true) { yield return default(T); } } Rules You can't use the yield keyword Use only C# itself directly - no IL code, no constructing dynamic assemblies etc. You can only use the basic .NET lib (only mscorlib.dll, System.Core.dll? not sure what else to include). However if you find a solution with some of the other .NET assemblies (WPF?!), I'm also interested. Don't implement IEnumerable or IEnumerator. Notes The closest I've come yet: IEnumerable<int> infinite = null; infinite = new int[1].SelectMany(x => new int[1].Concat(infinite)); This is "correct" but hits a StackOverflowException after 14399 iterations through the enumerable (not quite infinite). I'm thinking there might be no way to do this due to the CLR's lack of tail recursion optimization. A proof would be nice :)

And a Campaign has_many Contacts I envision being able to see a schedule for Today by going to domain/schedule/today What I'd like it to do would be to show all the Events (Email, Letter, Call) that have to happen today for each campaign. I tried the following, but have some challenges in putting it into a controller versus into a View. There are many emails in campaign. Email.days is the number of days from the contact.start_date that an email should be sent to the Contact.   Hi everyone, I have a java application launched by a .cmd file. I want to set the classpath of the application through this batch, all the needed jars are into a lib folder. Here is what I tried : set _classpath=. for %%i in (%1/lib/*.*) do ( set _classpath=%_classpath%;%%i ) Surprisingly, it seems that it does not act as expected. • Java Iterators - Trying to get a for each loop to work

  So I have a Tree<E> class where E is the datatype held and organized by the tree. I'd like to iterate through the Tree like this, or in a way similar to this: 1. Tree<String> tree=new Tree<String>(); 2. ...add some nodes... 3. for (String s : tree) 4. System.out.println(s); It gives me an error on line 3 though. Incompatible types required: java.lang.String found: java.lang.Object The following works fine and as expected though, performing a proper in-order traversal of the tree and printing each node out as it should: for (TreeIterator<String> i = tree.iterator(); i.hasNext(); ) System.out.println(i.next()); Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Do you need to see more of the code?

• Setting amount of time to pass when sending emails in a loop

  Forgive me for this noob question, but is there such a setting that sets a certain amount of time (e.g. milli/seconds) that has to pass in between sending emails through a script? How is that setting called and where do I change that setting? I'll give an example: I used to have a PHP script that sends emails like so: for ($i=0; $i<count($emails); $i++) { mail($email[$i],'test','test'); } It turned out that not all emails were sent successfully because the script ran so fast that there was not enough time in between sending emails that was required by the server. Did I make sense?

If Node = B, then B has one of two possible meanings. --If Node = A has been previously found in the file, then the value for A should be sent as 1. --If Node = A has NOT been found in the file, the the value for A should be sent as 2. where file is the xml source to be transformed I cannot figure out how to do this. If I was using a programming language that allowed for a variable to have its value reassigned/changed, then it is easy. But, with XSLT variables are set once.

  I'm trying to change the color of write-host output based on the lastrunoutcome property of SQL Server jobs in Powershell....as in...if a job was successfull, the output of lastrunoutcome is "Success" in green....if failed, then "Failed" in red. I have the script working to get the desired job status...I just don't know how to change the colors.   I have the following code in a project that write's the ascii representation of packet to a unix tty: int written = 0; int start_of_data = 3; //write data to fifo while (length) { if ((written = write(fifo_fd, &packet[start_of_data], length)) == -1) { printf("Error writing to FIFO\n"); } else { length -= written; } } I just want to take the data that would have been written to the socket and put it in a variable. to debug, I have just been trying to printf the first letter/digit. I have tried numerous ways to get it to print out, but I keep getting hex forms (I think). The expected output is: 13176 and the hex value is: 31 33 31 37 36 0D 0A (if that is even hex) Obviously my C skills are not the sharpest tools in the shed. Any help would be appreciated.

• Rails NoMethodError in loop when method exists

  Good day all. I'm running into a bit of a problem getting a script running on my production environment, even though it works just fine on my dev box. I've verified that all the requisite gems and such are the same version. I should mention that the script is intended to be run with the script/runner command. Here is a super-condensed version of what I'm trying to do, centered around the part that's broken: def currentDeal marketTime = self.convertToTimeZone(Time.new) deal = Deal.find(:first, :conditions = ["start_time ? AND market_id = ? AND published = ?", marketTime, marketTime, self.id, 1]) return deal end markets = Market.find(all) markets.each do |market| deal = market.currentDeal puts deal.subject end Now convertToTimeZone is a method attached to the model. So, this code works just fine on my dev machine, as stated. However, attempting to run it on my production machine results in: undefined method `subject' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError) If, however, I go into the console on the production box and do this: def currentDeal marketTime = self.convertToTimeZone(Time.new) deal = Deal.find(:first, :conditions = ["start_time ? AND market_id = ? AND published = ?", marketTime, marketTime, self.id, 1]) return deal end market = Market.find(1) deal = market.currentDeal puts deal.subject It returns the correct value, no problem.
