  • Nested Usercontrols and ViewState

    I have a UserControlParent that dynamically loads UserControlChild. In the UserControlChild, I store a value using the ViewState object by doing a ViewState["count"] = myCount; On Postbacks, the ViewState returns a null. Is this because the UserControlChild is being loaded dynamically? If it helps, the UserControlParent is loaded dynamically in the ASPX page as well.

  • JSTL XML Transforms not working with nested XSL includes

    I have a bit of JSP that does this: <c:import url="/xsl/Transformer.xsl" var="xslt" /> <x:transform doc="${actionBean.dom}" xslt="${xslt}" xsltSystemId="/xsl/"> This transforms the XML exactly as expected so long as Transformer.xsl contains no <xsl:include> tags or so long as any documents it does include do not include anything. However, if I use an XSL which includes a document which in turn includes another document, I get the following error: ERROR: 'Invalid URI 'NestedInclude.xsl Could not resolve entity reference: "NestedInclude.xsl"'.' Note that the JSP is contained in the directory below the xsl documents. If all my XSLs and JSPs are in the same directory (and I remove the xsltSystemId attribute) then everything would work fine, but I don't really want to do this. Can anyone see anything I'm doing wrong, as it's a bit of a killer at the moment and the JSTL documentation is next to useless.

    I populate web form with dynamic list of exams from database. I want user to enter examination marks for each exam. There is list of exam titles and textbox near each title. Then I have to retrieve data on postback. I have two ways but both of them looks ugly. Idea is to store dynamically created databounded controls on ItemDataBoundEvent in Page_Init stage, and process their values in Page_Load stage.   • ASP.Net forms authentication - multiple providers

    I have an ASP.Net 4.0 application, and within it is a folder called "Forum", setup as a sub application in IIS 7. This forum package implements a custom provider for .net membership. The forum is running in .net 3.5. I'd like to setup the main site so that when users login, it logs them into both my site and the forum site. Both the main site and the forum have separate .Net membership tables. How can I specify which provider to use with formsauthentication? right now I have FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(...); this, however, just uses my default provider and does nothing with the provider for the forum I tried setting the forum app and my web app to have the same cookie name, as well as setting the machinekey on each: <machineKey validationKey="AutoGenerate" validation="SHA1" /> no dice. I googled and didnt really come up with any example of how to use multiple providers like I want to. I updated my web.config to have both provideers but this is useless if I cannot specify in my code which one to use.

    Hi, I'm using the will paginate gem from http://github.com/mislav/will_paginate Routes: map.resources :post do |post| post.resources :comments end Post Controller: @post = Post.first @comments = @post.comments.paginate :page => params[:page], :per_page => 10 My problem lies in the view: <%= will_paginate @comments %> This generates links like /post/1?page=1 What I need is /post/1/comments?page=1 Is there a way to just tell will_paginate what url helper to use? (like post_comments_path) Any ideas?

    Hello, Here is a question, i have a plist, with main NSDictoinary, which his keys are dates. for every date, i have NSDictionary which his keys are (let's say) categories every Category holds Keys and values. I would like to create 2 variables that each one will hold the correct NSDictionary NSDictionary *dates = ?     It's easy to serialize models in an iterable: def _toJSON(models): return serializers.serialize("json", models, ensure_ascii=False) What about when I have something more complicated: [ (Model_A_1, [Model_B_1, Model_B_2, Model_B_3]), (Model_A_2, [Model_B_3, Model_B_4, Model_B_5, Model_B_59]), (Model_A_3, [Model_B_6, Model_B_7]), ] I tried serializing each model as it was added to the structure, then serializing the whole thing with simplejson.dumps, but that causes the JSON defining each model to be escaped. Is there a better way to do this?

    I've a report which shows five different activity codes. I'd like to sum all like codes and place a total for each of the 5 activity codes in a group footer. I have it working for one activity code, but would like to write a formula which will look for all five and total each. This is what I have: (if {@activitycode_id}= "Not Ready" then {iActivityCodeStat.ActivityTime}else 0) What is the proper syntax to add additional ifs into one formula? And then the best approach to totaling each one? Thank you!

The comments are stored in a different table from the stories. The code above does not return any values and doesn't show any errors. Could someone please help?

    Hi, I know this has been discussed a million times. I tried searching through the forums and have seen some close regex expressions and tried to modify them but to no avail. Say there is a line in a csv file like this: "123", 456, "701 "B" Street", 910 Is there an easy regex to detect "B" (since its a non-escaped set of quotes within the normal CSV quotes) and replace it with something like \"B\" ? The final string would end up looking like this: "123", 456, "701 \"B\" Street", 910 Help would be greatly appreciated!

    i am hiding the form using SetVisibleCore to false, but now i cant get the handle of this form in other application which i am retrieving using EnumWindow its giving me exception "Attempted to read or write protected memory.     I got a "Project A" in repository. But in that project I'm using a library, which is hosted on Google Code. There is my question: is there any way, to have that library files "hooked" to Google Code SVN, and simultaneously my project in my repo (it's parent to that library), so I can commit library files into my repository when I decide, that outer project revision is ok? I've tried to do checkout in the library folder, files were downloaded from Google's Code repository. But I that case wasn't able to add them to my repository - they weren't visible in "Add" window.

Then the dynamic labels will have the names and the text box with the values. To retain the values of these controls im using Page_init event. So im using cache to hold the selectteditem from the dropdownlist. Problem: The process is going fine. But if i try to refresh the page no items are selected in the dropdown list but the cache is not getting clear so using this cache value dynamic control are creating.

    Hello, I have a form that contains 3 blocks (block a, b, c). There is a master-detail relationship between b (detail) and c (master). Data-flow: you enter an ID in block a, which in turn populates block c and corresponding details in block b. Control goes immediately to block c. Objective: I need to be able to update details of block b. Issue: I cannot navigate to block b. Keep in Mind: --In the Property Palette Keyboard Navigable is set to "Yes" --Insert Allowed and Update Allowed are set to "Yes." If someone could respond ASAP I would really appreciate it.
