    Hi, I've got Enum: public enum ObjectType { Country=0, Region=1, Province=2, City=3, Hotel=4 } I have two applications in two language versions, and this Enum is displaying in some place, so depends of language version I wanna displaying correct version of Enum in german version instead Country Land etc. This Application are using the same websercice which has declaration of this enum.

    Currently I’m having some difficulties with using new Magento's soap v2 from c# interface. With php i was able to do something like this: $params["created_at"]["from"] = date("Y-m-d H:i:s",Functions::convert_time($dataDa)); $params["created_at"]["to"] = date("Y-m-d H:i:s",Functions::convert_time($dataA)); MageInterface::getSingleton()->shipmentList($params); In this mode i was able to find list of orders which were created from $dataDa to $dataA without problems. With c# however it seems that only the last one of the selectors work. My code: var cpf = new complexFilter[2]; cpf[0] = new complexFilter { key = "created_at", value = new associativeEntity { key = "to", value = uxDataA.DateTime.ToString("yy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss") } }); cpf[1] = new complexFilter { key = "created_at", value = new associativeEntity { key = "from", value = uxDataDa.DateTime.ToString("yy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss") } }); var filters = new filters(); filters.complex_filter = cpf; var risultato = mage.salesOrderList(sessionKey, filters); In this mode only created_at-from criteria is taken in consideration (it's like second complex filter override previous one with the same key).   • SSL certificates: No Client certificate key exhange

    I am trying to access a WCF web service, that is using two way SSL encryption. When I try to call the service I get a System.ServiceModel.Security.SecurityNegotiationException: Could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS with authority 'XXX.xx'. --- System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. I have tried activating wire shark, to see what is sent to and from the server: I see a client hello and a server hello. But there is no client response to the server hello. I was expecting a "Certificate. Client key exchange. Change cipher. Encrypted handshake Message" package, but none is sent. I'm thinking it is a problem with the certificate sent by the server, that somehow my client server does not trusy it. Here is what I have already tried: I have created the certificate, through the proper authority, though I could have made a mistake in the certificate request without knowing it. I have added the two root certificates to: trusted root certificates, trusted publishers and trusted people. I have also added the client certificate to trusted people. My colleague has succeded in establishing connection on a win 2008 server (i'm using a 2003, because it is necessary for some odd reason - don't ask). I can't see any differences in our approach, so i'm a bit lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could someone clarify this please?

    Hi everyone, I use a CascadingDropDownList of the AJAXControlToolkit in a ASP.NET MCMS 2002 web application. The CascadingDropDownList works as expected until "Anonymous access" and "Integrated Windows Authentication" flags are both checked (and this is the situation in the production environment) in the Directory Security settings on the website under IIS. The error I get is: 500 Internal Server Error No web service found at: If I uncheck the anonymous access or the windows authentication everything is ok. Any suggestions?

    I have downloaded & installed the OPCDA.NET client component evaluation & XMLDA.NET client component evaluation. It provides some C# samples for browsing the available OPC Server, connecting to the OPC server, & browsing the available items on the server. I know the programatic way in which we can access the local OPC server. It is provided in the sample C# applications. I have installed the OPC server on another machine ( remote machine ). I have done all the required setting related to the 'dcomcnfg' utility. I can access the remote OPC server from client machine by using the Test Client provided by the OPCDA.NET client component evaluation & XMLDA.NET client component evaluation. But I am unaware of how this can be done programmatically. In the available C# samples I found no such programatic part (coding ) in which we can access the remote OPC server. Can you provide me the code through which I can browse the available remote machines in my network, available OPC server on each machine after selecting the specific machine name, connecting to the OPC server & browsing the available items on the server ? or Can you provide me the any link through which I can resolve the above issue ?

  • Java: Read POST data from a socket on an HTTP server

    I have a website (python/django) that needs to use a load of Java resources that may or may not be on the same server. Therefore I am writing a mini webserver in Java that will receive a request and then when processing is finished, POST some data back to a url on the site. I have got the java code receiving connections on sockets and responding with some simple HTML. My problem is that I will POST data to the Java server and that code needs to act on the data. How do I go about reading the data that is posted in the HTML request, if it is even possible. If not, is there any other way you would do this. If you think I am going about this in completely the wrong way then please tell me and I will consider another method, but after conversing with some Java developers, this seemed like the best way for what I was doing.     I'm currently toying around with the Clarity .NET Facebook API but am finding certain situations with authentication to be kind of limiting. I keep going through the tutorials but always end up hitting a brick wall with what I want to do. Perhaps I just cannot do it? I want to make a Web Service that takes in the require credentials (APIKey, SecretKey, UsersId (or Session Key?) and whatever else I would need), and then do various tasks: Post to users wall, add events etc. The problem I am having is this: The current documentation, examples and support provide a way to do this within the context of a Web site. Within this context, the required "connect" popup can be initiated and allow the user to authenticate and and connect the application. From that point on the Web can go on with its business to do what it needs to do. If I close the browser and come back to the page, I have to push the connect button again. Except this time, since I was already logged into facebook, I don't have to go through the whole connection process. But still ... How do applications like Tweetdeck get around this? They seemingly have you connect once, when you install their application, and you don't have to do it again. I would assume that this same idea would have to applied towards making a web service because: You don't know what context the user is in when making the Web service call. The web service methods being called could be coming from a Windows Form app, or code behind in a workflow.

Better in my sense means: 1. Bug will be fixed periodically. 2. Chosen by most developers. 3. Additional features like authentication tokens like AWS, can be supported out of the box. 4. No strong dependency on version.( I see that wsgi requires python 2.6) 5. All python libraries will work out of the box. 6. Scalable in the future. 7. Future upgrade don't cause any issues.   • WCF - calling back to client (duplex ?)

    Hi, I have a problem with what solution to choose.. I have a server running having a Service running that can receive orders from a website. To this server several client (remote computers) are connected somehow. I would really like to use WCF for all comunication, but not sure it's possible. I dont wanna configure all client firewall settings in their routers, so the clients would have to connect to the server. But when an order is recieved on the server, it should be transferred to a specific client. One solution could be to have the Client connect using a duplex binding, but it will have to somehow keep the connection alive in order to be able to received data from server... Is this a good way to do this ?? Normally the connection times out and probably for a good reason... Anyone have insight to this problem. Thx alot for any advise :-) Best Regards Søren Müller

    I have an application that when executed as a windows application works fine, but when converted to a web service, in some instances (which were tested successfully) by the windows app) creates a stack overflow. Do you have an idea of what can cause this? (Note that it works fine when the web service is placed on the localhost). Could it be that the stack size of a Web Service is smaller than that of a Window Application?   • Limit the number of service calls in a RESTful application

    Imagine some kind of a banking application, with a screen to create accounts. Each Account has a Currency and a Bank as a property, Currency being a separate class, as well as Bank. The code might look something like this: public class Account { public Currency Currency { get; set; } public Bank Bank { get; set; } } public class Currency { public string Code { get; set; } public string Name { get; set; } } public class Bank { public string Name { get; set; } public string Country { get; set; } } According to the REST design principles, each resource in the application should have its own service, and each service should have methods that map nicely to the HTTP verbs. So in our case, we have an AccountService, CurrencyService and BankService. In the screen for creating an account, we have some UI to select the bank from a list of banks, and to select a currency from a list of currencies. Imagine it is a web application, and those lists are dropdowns. This means that one dropdown is populated from the CurrencyService and one from the BankService. What this means is that when we open the screen for creating an account, we need to make two service calls to two different services. If that screen is not by itself on a page, there might be more service calls from the same page, impacting the performance. Is this normal in such an application? If not, how can it be avoided? How can the design be modified without going away from REST?

  • Sharepoint survey: How to identify the question fields when fetching survey information from the Lis

    I am wanting to access survey information via the Lists web service and display the questions contained in the survey. The result contains a large number of Field nodes some of which are the questions in the survey. The other fields contain other information such as author, last changed etc. How can I pick out the questions? I had thought that all non-questions would be hidden but this is not the case. Here is my code as it is at the moment. It returns about 16 items.   • resolving incidents (closing cases) in CRM4 through webservices?

    Hello everybody, I'm trying to resolve/close Dynamics CRM4 cases/incidents through webservices. A single SetStateIncidentRequest is not enough and returns a Server was unable to process request error message. I think it has something to do with active workflows that trigger on case's attribute changes. I don't know if there's anything else preventing the request to work. Since it is possible to close those cases through the GUI, I guess there's a "correct" set of steps to follow in order to achieve it through CrmService; unfortunately, I've been googleing it for a while without finding what I want. Could anybody help me, please?

    Hi, I write a little Chat Application. To save some infos like Username and Password I store the Data in an SQL-Compact 3.5 SP1 Database. Everything working fine, but If another (the same .exe on the same machine) Client want to access the Service. It came an EndpointNotFound exception, from the ServiceReference.Class.Open() at the Second Client. So i remove the CE Data Access Code and I get no Error (with an if (false)) Where is the Problem?
