    Hi Working with iPhone simulator 3.1.3 - Trying to add a framework to my project - MediaPlayer.framework. I tried the "Add existing framework" method - but cannot find the file in folder "Frameworks". Am I looking in the wrong place? Wrong filename? Wrong space/time continuum? I also did a search for the file - to no avail. Not in /System/Library/Frameworks/ Do I have to download it?

    So I bought an Android phone and the vendor does not offer any drivers whatsoever. The Android SDK and the drivers that come with it don't seem to work with the device, but the device itself reports as Android 2.2.1. Other users have reported that the drivers of the Nook Color worked for them, but I cannot confirm this, after trying. What options do I have to connect to the device (and ultimately to root it)? Is it truly just the .inf file that I need to manipulate in order to make the device ID known to Windows? After all there are tools to figure out those strings while the device is connected (although "unknown") ...

  • Extracting a .zip file into Program Files (x86)

    I just got 64 bit Vista system after being on Windows XP. I'm trying to get all my useful programs up to date, and I've recently had a problem extracting files into the 32-bit program files directory (Program Files (x86)). I'm using 7zip to extract the eclipse-SDK-3.5-win32.zip directory into C:\Program Files (x86) Unfortunately, every time I've tried to do this, 7Zip reports can not open output file C:\Program Files (x86)\eclipse\... I've been able to extract it to C:\ and then move it, I'm assuming there's some protection on the Program Files directory that is causing some problems. Any suggestions?

    Looking to do iphone, android, and possibly windows phone development on a Mac Pro. What are the pluses and minuses of using a Mac Pro and a dual boot. Unlike most, Windows 7 will be the primary OS since most supporting software will be done with Visual Studio 08/10 over the next year. I have found driver issues from a few years ago. Do any of these issues still exist?

    Is it possible to download a folder and its contents using air for android? I would like to also use the same code on iPhone. I need it to be stored in the application storage so we can reference the content once downloaded. I know it's possible to download content as referenced in this question: Download Content using Air For Android but can a person download the entire folder and again store it in the application directory?     I tried to deploy the app to the iphone device for test.When I pressed the run button, one error accured.pic is attched below. "the file 'Simple-Info.plist' could not be opened because there is no such file".But the file is there in the project! I mentioned the path of the file which was marked in red in the pic.Why there is 2 Simple(the Project name) in the path? Anyone could help?! enter image description here

    I just started with Amazon web services, and I have an EC2 instance. I downloaded the JAVA SDK and the Eclipse toolbox. I am able to run a sample program locally on my PC and connect to the Amazon databases, etc. My question is, what do I need to do to get this working on my EC2 instance? This may not even be specific to AWS. On Eclipse, I can just "Run as Application" and run any code. On the server side, what do I need to do? Should I ftp over my .java files? Should I export it to a jar and upload that? Do I need to install anything special to actually run it?
