• Tooltip steals mouse click

  I'm writing a custom TreeView from ScrollableControl. I decided to show tooltips when the mouse hovers over nodes with text too long to display. I find that when tooltips are shown, the user is not able to click the node to select it because (I think) he's clicking the tooltip window, not my control. Is there any easy solutions? As far I can see, System.Windows.Forms.TreeView don't have this problem. Thanks!

  I have an issue with the Windows Forms PropertyGrid control. I have customized the PropertyGrid control and override only OnPaint function. protected override void OnPaint(PaintEventArgs pe) { base.OnPaint(pe); } In my application I have few more controls (treeview, custom control and few form controls). When I mouseclick on the PropertyGrid control, the paint function in all the controls in the screen are being called continuously and the treeview starts flickering. This happens only in mouseclick event.

• Turn off Jquery UI Accordion animation only during page load

  I'd like to turn off the accordian animation during page load, and then turn it back on after the page is loaded. Basically I've got multiple forms inside the accordion sections and when submitted the page gets reloaded and the relevant section is reloaded. But during the reload the animation is triggered which looks a little ugly. But I like it when the page is not being loaded. How do I achieve this effect?

  I was using something like public int Test(System.Windows.Forms.ListBox.ObjectCollection Colecction) { } With this I want to pass just the ObjectCollection of the control, to sort, add and delete elements without passing the entire control, but someone told me that, this way of calling the collection, actualy, create an entire ListBox, making it a worst decition, than, passing a ListBox as a parameter.   I'm attempting to build a way for my selectors to 'listen' to 'global' events that are beyond the typical 'click' 'change' 'submit' etc. I've explored the various 'eventmanagers' that I could find, and they're all still designed for forms. Is there any way to do something like this for non-standard (i.e. custom) events? The goal is to have selectors subscribe to an event, and then be able to trigger it in one place and it will raise it for everything subscribed to it.

  I have spreadsheet with 50+ checkboxes from the forms toolbar. In a few instances you can only check 1 checkbox from a group i.e you check one checkbox from checkbox 1 to checkbox 5. I'm trying to achieve this without any code if possible. Option button is not preferred since I want an uniformed spreadsheet. How can you group the checkbox1 to checkbox5 so that they become mutually exclusive for a group. Thank you

  Hi, I need to create a program that creates another program but not a compiler though. For example, I write a program that accepts a string input from the user. Let's say user enter "Pluto".
