  • html embeded php code not executing when hosted on iis

    <HTML> <HEAD> <META NAME="GENERATOR" Content="Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 7.1"> <TITLE></TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <?php echo '<p>Hello World</p>'; ?> </BODY> When I run the above code in browser, firefox render it like this Hello World '; ? I am doing my coding in Windows XP/IIS 5.1. I have PHP setup correctly because i have no problem running .php file. The problem seem to me that IIS can't render php code embedded inside html. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or should i switch to Apache?

Any ideas how to call onPageLoad each time DOM content is reloaded?

  • When the current toolbar is touched previous toolbar items are activated.

    I have a UIToolBar *toolbar1. I have 3 buttons on the toolbar. And the tool bar is at the bottom of the view. The buttons are like library button, moreApps button, recordVideo button. If I touch the library button a new view(a UITableViewController) appears. I used presentModelViewController for it. If I touch moreApps button a new view (a UIViewController) appears and it loaded from http//. The recordButton touch gives another UIViewController view. When the moreApps button is touched and the view is loaded, it have the content from web and a UIToolBar *toolbar2 at the bottom the view. It has a refresh button and done button. The problem is when I touch the toolbar2 (not on the refresh button and done button) the previous views button are activated and corresponding views of previous buttons(library button, playVideo button) are loaded. I am not able to understand about this problem. Thank you.

The way I currently perform this using JavaScript is: DateStr = /<b>Renewal Date:<\/b>(.+?)<\/td>/.exec(returnedHTMLPage); I tried to follow some tutorials on java.util.regex.Pattern and java.util.regex.Matcher with no luck.   • CSS file not getting downloaded in Visual Studio 2008 SP?

    Hi guys, This might sound a little wierd, but all of a sudden the CSS and Javascript files referenced in my master page are not being downloaded while the page is being rendered. I am working on a ASP.NET MVC project and things were all fine like half an hour ago! Here is what I have in head section of the master page, <link href="/Content/MyCSS.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script src="/Scripts/jquery-1.3.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I can see the CSS class intellisense while designing pages. But in the page source I do not see these files being added. I can see the css being applied in the VS designer. I have tried restarting VS, restarting my machine too. Anyone else faced this situation before. I might go crazy now.

To prevent duplicate keys being created e.g. &pid=12&pid=10, I am researching methods of rewriting the URL: a) mysite.com/mypage.aspx/red/green/blue b) mysite.com/mypage.aspx?controlname=a,red|b,green|c,blue Pages using this structure would be publishing content that I would like to get indexed and ranked - articles and products (8,000 products to start, with thousands more being added later) My gut instinct tells me to go with the first method, but would it would be overkill to add all that infrastructure if the second method will accomplish my goal of getting pages indexed AND ranked. So my question, looking at the pro's and con's, Google Ranking, time to implement etc. which method should I use? Thanks!

    I am having a tough time figuring this out. I need to be able to detect a fill area for something similar to a coloring book picture. The user will click inside the area that needs to be filled. The image is user created bitmap content and so the fill area must be detected at runtime. Any help would be tremendously appreciated! If I comment out the mappedHandlers part then the error tile is displayed but it is only a tile. The rest of the tiles load normally. I need to make a redirect in the controller so I can show an error page not just an error tile. I can't find enough information or an example how the exception invokes some method in exceptionController.

  • Android: Maps - Best way to provide 'search for location' feature?

    Hello all, I've got an android app that uses a map activity and serves up content based on map location. I'm looking for a way to allow the user to search for a location by name (anything from 'New York' to 'Eiffel Tower') - e.g. have a text input field into which they could type 'Rome' - after pressing a button, the user would be brought to the coordinates of Rome on the map. What would be the best way to go about this? I've looked into the google geocoding api (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/geocoding/), but it has limitations of 2,500 geolocation requests per day - I'm presuming this is per API key? Or is it per user/source IP? 2,500 requests for one android app woudln't last long. Ideally, I would be able to search for English and foreign names of countries. Thanks in advance! r3mo

  • Can you use POST to run a query in Solr (/select)

    I have queries that I am running against out solr index that sometimes have very long query parameters, I get errors when i run these queries, which i assume are do to the limit of a GET query parameters. Here is the method I use to query (JSON), this is to show I am using the Http Extensions (the client i use is a thin wrapper for HttpClient) not an end to end solution. 90% of the queries run fine, it is just when the params are large i get the 500 error from solr. I have read somewhere you can use POSt's when doing the select command but have not found examples of how to do it.   • Download multiple files in background in Android

    Basically I'm trying to make a little app for watching offline content. So there's a moment where the user selects to download the contents (and the app should download about 300 small files and images). I'd like to show the user how does the process go if he enters the proper activity. Showing a list of all the files, telling what has been already downloaded, in progress or waiting for download. My problem is that I really don't know what approach to take for achieve this. Since the download should last until finished I imagine the solution is an Service, but whats best? an IntentService, a Bound Service or an Standard Service calling a startService() for each download? And how can I keep my objects updated for displaying them later? should I use a database or objects in memory? Thanks

  • Best way to set a default button (or trigger its event in javascript) for an input field, not part of a form

    I've got a stand-alone input field, not part of any form. I also got a button, that has some onclick event. When I type something in the input field, and press the Enter key, I want it do effectively press the button, or trigger its onclick event. So that the button is "the input field's default button" so to speak. <input id='myText' type='text' /> <button id='myButton' onclick='DoSomething()'>Do it!</button> I guess I can mess around with the input field's onkeypress or onkeydown events and check for the Enter key, etc. But is there a more 'clean' way, I mean something that associated the button with that input field, so that the button is the 'default action' or something for that field? Note that I'm not inside a form, I am not sending, posting, or submitting something. The DoSomething() function just changes some of the HTML content locally, depending on the text input.

  • How do I post to a webservice and display the returned Response in MVC3 Razor Application?

    I have need to call a webservice from an HTML helper extension I created (combinbation of Action and Image) and placed in the view as follows @Html.ActionImage("CallService", new { number = ViewBag.number, code = ViewBag.code, account = ViewBag.account, amount = ViewBag.amount }, "~/Content/sb_200x61.png", "Start the Process") I am making the action call and it calls the service and returns a string of the html response, but it doesn't look right. I am using the typical HttpWebRequest to do the POST Action in C# code. Here is the controller action code: public MvcHtmlString CallService(string number, string code, string account, decimal? amount) { string response = MyService.ServiceLayer.ClassName.callService(number, code, account, Convert.ToDecimal(amount); MvcHtmlString mstring = new MvcHtmlString(response); return mstring; } When it returns the string back it's looking like the all styling and js is removed. It that due to MvcHtmlString? Is there a better way to do this? Redirect somehow ?

  • How to dynamically add a Javascript function (and invoke)

    Based on a click event on the page, via ajax I fetch a block of html and script, I am able to take the script element and append it to the head element, however WebKit based browsers are not treating it as script (ie. I cannot invoke a function declared in the appended script). Using the Chrome Developer Tools I can see that my script node is indeed there, but it shows up differently then a script block that is not added dynamically, a non-dynamic script has a text child element and I cannot figure out a way to duplicate this for the dynamic script. Any ideas or better ways to be doing this? The driving force is there is potentially a lot of html and script that would never be needed unless a user clicks on a particular tab, in which case the relevant content (and script) would be loaded.     I've got a site where users follow users they like and can read their latest updates. I'd like to show my users a simple count of how many comments the people they follow have posted in the last 24 hours. I'm having trouble figuring out the query. I have two tables. comment -cid (comment id) -timestamp -uid (id of person who posted the comment) -comment (content of the comment) user_relationships -requester_id (id of the user who followed the person) -requestee_id (id of the person who was followed) In plain english, I think the query is something like this: COUNT the cid.comment from the comments table where uid.comment is equal to requestee_id.user_relationships associated with requester_id.user_relationships value of X. I need to get all the UIDs of people being followed by a given UID from the user_relationship table. Then count up how many comments those people have posted in the last 24 hours and spit that number out. What would this query look like?

    Hello, i'm trying to modify a property of a column (in sql server 2008 r2) which is of xml data type. I want set (Is full-text indexed) to yes, but after I do this and try to save changes, i get an error: 'Abc' table - Unable to modify table. Column: B is not full-text searchable. Column B is not the column I'm modyfing, but it's content is based on the modified xml column (it takes a value from one element in xml). Weird thing is that column B is full-text indexed (in table designer). Any ideas why i cannot apply changes to the xml column?

    There ought to be a way of sending a post request and getting back just the headers. $ch = curl_init('http://www.stackoverflow.com/'); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, true); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_NOBODY, true); doesn't work, because all setting CURLOPT_NOBODY does is to change the request method to HEAD, thereby overriding CURLOPT_POST. I could just leave the last of these lines out and only process the headers, but is there a more efficient way? It's also odd that there doesn't seem to be a way in cURL to truncate the received content to a specified length as there is with file_get_contents.

  • Vim: How to handle newlines when storing multiple commands in registers?

    I have a file where I store snippets of vim commands. When I need a snippet, I yank it and then execute it with @". The snippets are stored as a script, one line per command, like this: :s/foo/bar/g :echo "hello" :s/1/2/g Edit: I removed normal mode commands from the example, as they were not part of the problem. Now this procedure doesn't work anymore: when executing the snippet, it just stops at the first line as if waiting for a newline. Is there an option somewhere affecting how @ is executed? I'm pretty sure it was working some time ago... Substituting the newline with a ^M character works but makes the file more difficult to handle. Additional information: Here's another symptom: when I yank a snippet, if I execute it with @" it stops at the first line as I just explained. But if I execute it with :@ it works. But the help file doesn't seem to imply any difference in how the two commands treat the register's content...

  • curl issue with URL not connecting

    So I'm not a very good network person so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to figuring out what I am doing wrong. I am trying to use curl to post a SOAP message. I am running the following: curl -d "string of xml message" -H "Content-Type:text/xml; charset=utf-8" ":/" This results in a 'Connection refused' message. So I try pinging ip by itself...no problems. Then I think maybe I need http://:/ so I tried pinging http:// and I get: unknown host http:// yet if I ping the IP by itself I get no issues. Any thoughts on where to start debugging this issue?
