• Uploading to Youtube via a proxy using the Java Youtube API

  So I want to write a servlet which uploads a video to a youtube channel using the Java API, but I can't seem to find a way of specifying that I want to go through a proxy server. I've seen an example on this site where someone managed to do this using C#, but the Classes they used don't seem to exist in the Java API. Has anybody managed to successfully do this?   I am looking into solutions for providing multiple login methods to my site. I found rpxnow.com and they map user accounts from all the different networks. My question is how do they know that I am user1 on twitter and bigdude2 on facebook? I'm hoping it goes beyond email lookups. The end result I want is a unique user in my database no matter what account they sign in with, dupes are a no-no, but most likely inevitable I am guessing.

  I am using FaceBook application inside iframe. But when I try to access it using url like http://apps.facebook.com/myapp, it immediately redirects me to my lhttp://localhost:8080 application, which I intended to keep in frame. I assume that my local application should stay in frame, while the general container would be FB site itself, but something is wrong. Any hints?

  Hi all, I am testing my web application's security and all of my pages are served over ssl. The issue I am having is the certificate is not trusted as firefox starts in a new profile each time. I was reading on OpenQA's site about a jar and importing the certificate, but that is only for Internet Explorer and Firefox should automatically be handled. Is there anything special I need to do in order for certificates to automatically be trusted? Thanks, Walter

  I have a fairly simple ASP.Net site that uses google checkout (I have an imagebutton with the PostBackUrl set to the Google address passing values of hidden fields) which works fine. I've been moving this app to MVC and I'm not sure how to handle this. I thought about using jQuery form but I don't believe this would work in this situation because there are times when they're redirected to the google pages.   When creating a libsvm training file, how do you differentiate between a nominal attribute verses a numeric attribute? I'm trying to encode certain nominal attributes as integers, but I want to ensure libsvm doesn't misinterpret them as numeric values. Unfortunately, libsvm's site seems to have very little documentation. Pentaho's docs seem to imply libsvm makes this distinction, but I'm still not clear how it's made.

  Trying to do a few URLRewrite rules - some of them worked, some didn't. For those that didn't work, how do you debug it? Especially if the rule was never invoked, how do I tell where I'm making a mistake? Tried Live HTTP Header extension with firefox as well as checking the server access logs, to no avail. My site is hosted with cpanel, using apache, and the rewrite rules are defined in .htaccess (I have some rules that worked, so it's not a setup issue I'm pretty sure) Thanks

  Hello, I know of the "wget" function in shell, but I'm running perl from the command line on a windows machine and I was looking for a method of sequentially downloading the web source code from a site. For example: for www.abcd.com has the extension of it's subsites as 1,2,3 etc such that www.abcd.com/1 or www.abcd.com/2 is the syntax. I would like the source to be labeled as 1.source, 2.source etc for a defined set of pages 1-100 say. Thanks for the help, Jake

• Why are these floats wrapping in Internet Explorer?

  My website, ReadyMadeWeb.com, looks great in FireFox, Safari, and Chrome, but of course IE has different plans for the floats used the in the #content area. You can see what I mean if you view the site in IE. The main column is pushed below the first sidebar. The content boxes and the de.licio.us sidebar both sit within another div. I have looked at overflow and clear settings, but changing those has not helped. Any ideas?

Exchange administrators can enforce password policy across devices But while I'm using N1 with 2.2 and try to connect to my company exchange server it didn't enforce me to set a password, although connecting to the same server from Windows Mobile 6 device enforce this. I'm developing a site that will be used by quite a few people, and I'm wondering: How expensive are mysql queries actually?
