• Ctrl+r in firefox for refreshing page and it's problem to my php code

  i have create a form (so it's PHP and HTML hybrid-code). it has ability to send '$_POST'. And when i click it, it work perfectly on sending and displaying input. But there's something happening when i click ctrl+r in firefox for represhing the page. I got this confim dialog : "To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier" my question what is it, (this confirm dialog ?) what i have to do on my code so it able to suppress this dialog ?

• SQL Server 2008 - Get Latest Record from Joined Table

  Hello, I have a SQL Server 2008 database. This database has two tables called Customer and Order. These tables are defined as follows: Customer -------- ID, First Name, Last Name Order ----- ID, CustomerID, Date, Description I am trying to write a query that returns all of the customers in my database. If the user has placed at least one order, I want to return the information associated with the most recent order placed. Currently, I have the following: SELECT * FROM Customer c LEFT OUTER JOIN Order o ON c.[ID]=o.[CustomerID] As you can imagine, this will return all of the orders associated with a customer. In reality though, I only want the most recent one. How do I do this in SQL? Thank you!

  Hi there, I am displaying some event data based on the todays event and a list of events in a week. Currently I am displaying all the events in form of list from the file, As the file contains out dated events as well but I want to display on the basis of today's date events and a week events then week after. In short I want to restrict the list on the basis of this and extract information. I know there is a class java.util containing Date class, but need some quick idea and help how can I do this? • WPF DropShadowEffect in ListBox

  Hi, Basically, I have a listbox which contains a set of listboxitem (stacked horizontally). On selected listboxitem, there will be dropshadoweffect applied to the border of the listboxitem. The problem i am having at the moment is the dropshadopeffect on the left hand side is covering (on top of) the left listboxitem. This is fine for me, however the dropshadoweffect on the right hand side of the listboxitem is covered by (below) the right listboxitem. Is there a way to make them consistent? so that both sides' dropshadoweffect will appear on top of the left and right listboxitems. Please let me know if you need more information. Any help would be appreciated.

  Debugger is telling me this, when I run my app on device: Program received signal: “EXC_BAD_ACCESS”. mi_cmd_stack_list_frames: Not enough frames in stack. mi_cmd_stack_list_frames: Not enough frames in stack. I don't get information about where in code that happens. That's all I get. Any idea what that could mean? The app crashes after that. When the device is not connected to the mac, it still crashes, so not a debugger problem.

• How do I execute an action in drupal after each time a node is saved?

  I'm developing an Action in Drupal which is supposed to activate after saving a node, exporting content to XML (which includes data from the node that was just saved), using the "Trigger: After saving an updated post" trigger. Unfortunately this action actually happens right before the information from the recently saved post is saved to the database. ie. when looking at the XML later, I find that the most recent change I made was not included. Saving after editing a different node will restore the previously missing data. How can I get my action to fire after the saving process is complete?

  Can you any one see anything wrong with the following apache rewrite rule: This is in my .htaccess file inside a folder called "text" a subdirectory of localhost/lombardpress I have the following rule Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ([^/]+) /textdisplay.php?fs=$1 [NC] I was expecting this input: http://localhost/lombardpress-dev/text/lectio1 to rewrite to this: http://localhost/lombardpress-dev/text/textdisplay?fs=lectio1 But instead I get a 404 error. The requested URL /textdisplay.php was not found on this server. It looks to me like the RewriteRule has re-written the address but not as I intended - so there must be something wrong with my regular expression. Let me know if I can provide further information.

  Hi, Am working on a design where I can have flexible attributes for a user & am confused how to continue the design of the schema. I made a table where I kept system needed information called users id username password Now, I wish to create a profile table and have one to one relation where all the other attributes in profile table such as email, first name, last name..etc. My question is, is there a way to add a third table in which even profile will be flexible if my clients need to create a new attribute he/she won't need any customization to the code?   I am working with a large list of points (each point has three dimensions x,y,z). I am pretty new with R, so I would like to know what is the best way to represent that kind of information.   Hi! I'm a relative newbie on iPhone app development but have successfully created a tab bar app with 4 tab bar items. I would like to have a one-off registration page for users to key-in information when they open the application for the first time. The registration page should load before the view with the selection of tab bar items loads. What is the best way to do this? Also, how do I load a UIView or UIWebView before the tab bar items load?   Hi everybody, I'm developing an application using ASP.Net. For first the idea: "My WebApp needs an cronometer to be shared by users and all users will se the same value in cronometer. When a user clicks on a button, the cronometer needs to be restarted and all users will need to see that!" All right, now I'd like to know what's the best choose to improve more performace an make sure that all users will see the same value in cronometer ? Need I use JSon (with jquery in client side), Timer with UpdatePanel of Ajax Extensions, pure Ajax (with JQuery) or any idea to suggested ? • Call other activities in an activity?

  Say I have 2 activities (ActivityOne and ActivityTwo). How would I call ActivityTwo from ActivityOne? Then how would I return to ActivityOne from ActivityTwo? For example, I have a listview with all the contacts on the host phone. When I tap on a contact, another activity shows information and allows editing of that contact. Then I could hit the back button, and I would go back to the exact state that ActivityOne was in before I called ActivityTwo. I was thinking an Intent object, but I am not sure. Could someone post some code?

• Using PHP's exec() function (or the likes), how can you display terminal error output?

  Previous Reference I am just wondering if there's a way (using PHP) to output the compile error information from the terminal to the browser? For example: If you use this code to execute in the terminal... gcc -o try try.c ...and assuming the "try.c" have some errors. The terminal will output something like this: try.c In function 'main': try.c:27 'x' undeclared (first use in this function) try.c:27 (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once try.c:27 for each function it appears in.) Meanwhile, using this PHP code... <?php exec("gcc -o try try.c"); ?> The browser does not return any output like the terminal does. Is there a possible way direct or indirect that the error details that the terminal showed can be passed to the be displayed on a browser? Thank you very much.

• Get single Wordpress gallery image with given title

  I am having users of a Wordpress blog upload a single image to different post's galleries with the name "banner". Basically, every post will have an image named "banner" uploaded to its gallery and this image needs to be displayed on the post's page outside of the article content. So, how can I get the URL to display an image in a post's single.php template? Can I iterate through the images of a given post's gallery and find the one with the correct title somehow? I've searched through the Wordpress codex docs and haven't found anything on a way to do this, just information on displaying galleries of photos. Note that I'm already using Wordpress's post thumbnail feature for something else. Thanks!

• Can I Use EF Across Multiple DBs in One SQLServer Instance?

  Hello, I have been searching the blogs and articles but I have not found much support for this scenario. I have been poking around EF and realized that I could create views that contained data from multiple databases and then build the EF object model off of those views. Although it works I am not sure about the usual issues of performance, scalability, maintainability. The way I am achieving the connection between databases is by creating associations in the EF model. Does anyone have any information about this type of implementation? • Dump Hibernate activity to sql script file

  Hi, I'm trying to log hibernate activity (only dml operations) to an sql script file. My goal is to have a way to reconstruct the database from a given starting point to the current state by executing the generated script. I can get the sql queries from log4j logs but they have more information than the raw sql queries and i would need to parse them and extract only the helpful statements. So i'm looking for a programatic way, maybe by listening the persist/merge/delete operations and accessing the hibernate-generated sql statements. I don't like to reinvent the wheel so, if anybody know a way for doing this i would appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance

  I have a tree of information which is sent to the client in a JSON object. In that object, I don't want to have raw IDs which are coming from the database. I thought of making a hash of the id and a field in the object (title, for example) or a salt, but I'm worried that this might have a serious effect on processing overhead. SELECT * FROM `things` where md5(concat(id,'some salt')) = md5('1some salt'); Is there a standard practice for obscuring IDs in this kind of situation?

  Hi, I have never used the datagridview in any other scenario other than one where it is populating by a database so suddenly my mind goes blank... I have 10 tubes, each with 8 vertical positions within it, so I have a 10 by 8 grid basically. Each has of those slots has (or not) an image in a folder. How do I get a datagridview to reflect this information, draw a grid, check the folder and if the image exists paint it white, and if not paint it red? Sorry it if sounds a little odd, thanks, R.

• Is it more secure to run a desktop app in a applet?

  Fist of all, when I say "run a desktop app in a applet" I mean do a Applet application that runs off-line, instead of a Desktop application that runs inside a JFrame. The little I know about applets (and maybe something I say is wrong, please correct me) is that applets have all permitions not granted by default. Also, the applets run inside a Sandbox, that does not allow information in or out without explicity permition. So, if I am focused on security in my application, its best to run it inside an applet (off-line, for a desktop application) then inside a JFrame. Is it right?

  Is there a list of the differences between the various versions of Rails somewhere on the web? I'm working through an older book about Rails that uses Rails 1.2. I know there are other ways to learn Rails these days, but I thought it would be interesting to try and convert all of the exercises in the book to a more modern versions of Rails (I'm currently working with 2.3.5). A comprehensive list of differences between the various releases would be very helpful. Note that I don't consider the git log a good source of information, as commit messages almost never tell the full story.

• Easy way to compute how close an auto_increment is to its maximum value?

  So yesterday we had a table that has an auto_increment PK for a smallint that reached its maximum. We had to alter the table on an emergency basis, which is definitely not how we like to roll. Is there an easy way to report on how close each auto_increment field that we use is to its maximum? The best way I can think of is to do a SHOW CREATE TABLE statement, parse out the size of the auto-incremented column, then compare that to the AUTO_INCREMENT value for the table. On the other hand, given that the schema doesn't change very often, should I store information about the columns' maximum values and get the current AUTO_INCREMENT with SHOW TABLE STATUS?

  I have a calls called DtaDate that stores an integer "key", a string name, a string for the date, and a Date object that is created from that string. I have some code that needs to accept a date-like object. I'd like the user to be able to pass in anything date like - a Date object which I'll extract the information from, another DtaDate, a string with the date in it, or even the key, which I'll use to look up the DtaDate from a collection. So I have this: Friend Sub New(NameIn As String, DateFormulaIn As String, Optional FromDateIn As Object = Nothing) [stuff that works] [check that we got a FromDateIn...] If TypeOf FromDateIn Is DtaDate Then fdk = FromDateIn.Key Ans.FromDate = fdk VB tells me that "Option Strict On disallows late binding". The other cases, where a string or integer is the TypeOf, I use CInt or CStr. But this is the first time I've actually run into a case where the casting is a non-base type. What's the trick?
