    I have created a shopping cart site, and i have got two complains for the same issue, but i am not able to track the main problem... They whenever they complete the process and reach at the last page they get the error message as "operation aboarded, Internet explorer can't open the page" Could someone helo me out? what could be the reason behind this.. i tried to get the error in IE-6,7,8 but I didnt get any error... ?

So I need to do two things. 1) How can I create a new log file each day? The log file will be have the name in a format like MMDDYYYY.txt 2) How can I create it just after midnight in case it is running into all hours of the night?

    I merged the wrong way between two branches. I then ran the following: git reset --hard HEAD^ I am now back at the previous commit (which is where I want to be). Was that the correct thing to do? The bad commit is still in the repository, is that okay or should I do something else to remove it from the repository? I have not pushed or committed anything else yet.

    This is just a hypothetical scenario to illustrate my question. Suppose that there are two threads and one TVar shared between them. In one thread there is an atomically block that reads the TVar and takes 10s to complete. In another thread is an atomically block that modifies the TVar every second. Will the first atomically block ever complete? Surely it will just keep going back to the beginning, because the log is in an inconsistent state?

    If you have two separate projects that is somehow connected. How can one make a reference to the source of the other project? For referencing the source of your own project you use: source:some/file But since I want to refer to code in another project my thought was that I could write something like: other_project:source:some/file Anyone that knows if this is possible in some way?     I'm wondering how to implement prototypal inheritance in Python. It seems like the way to do this would be to either use a metaclass to cause instantiations to actually be classes, rather than objects, or use some magical powers to transform an existing object into a class. The second method would seem to be more flexible, in that it could be applied to existing objects of varied types, while the first would likely be more convenient for typical use cases. Insights on the practicality of these two approaches, as well as alternative suggestions, are hereby requested.

    I would like to use Python's tempfile module to create a temporary file that I will use for communication between processes (use of pipes is awkward). The documentation I've linked to above shows two functions that almost do what I want: tempfile.NamedTemporaryFile # For creating named tempfiles tempfile.SpooledTemporaryFile # For creating tempfiles in memory but actually I want a tempfile that is both named AND in memory. Any ideas?

    i'm trying to run a conditional statement in a class i'm placing in my App_Code folder the condition is whether the person is logged in or not. I normally have two ways to do this in my masterpage and ASPX's if (!User.IsAuthenticated) or if(Profile.username = "anonymous") however neither of these things seem available to me in the .cs i'm making. anyone know what i'm missing? maybe a using namespace up top?

    Hello, recently I've been trying to debug some low level work and I could not find the crt0.S for the compiler(avr-gcc) but I did find a crt1.S (and the same with the corresponding .o files) What is the difference between these two files? Is crt1 something completely different or what? They both seem to have to do with something for bootstrapping(setting up stack frame and such), but why the distinction?

  • What is a good free ODBC viewer?

    At my job I have to work with three different databases. One is a SQL Server 2008, for which I use SQL Server Management Studio, and another is MySQL, for which I use the MySQL tools. The third however is a Cache database that I can only access through a ODBC connection. Currently I use the SLIK software ODBC View tool to access it, but it is severely lacking when compared with the other two tools. Can anyone recommend a good tool for this type of work?

  • how can I get around no arrays as class constants in php?

    I have a class with a static method. There is an array to check that a string argument passed is a member of a set. But, with the static method, I can't reference the class property in an uninstantiated class, nor can I have an array as a class constant. I suppose I could hard code the array in the static method, but then if I need to change it, I'd have to remember to change it in two places. I'd like to avoid this.
