• ContentPresenter changing Foreground unexpectedly depending on where styles are located

  Hi, I'm having an issue with the ContentPresenter behaving unexpectedly based on whether the styles are located in the Window.Resources or in a ResourceDictionary. Specifically, I'm setting the Foreground of the default TextBlock to Black, then setting the Foreground value in my default button style to White.   Hi, I have to implement Single Sign On in my .NET(3.5) project using Shibboleth. Detailed requirement goes this way: 1) I have developped a web application using .NET (3.5) named "abc.com". 2) There are some third party applications which will be launched from "abc.com" 3) If I have logged in to "abc.com" and now if I launch any of the supported third party applications then it should not ask for login information again. From last few days I have been reading Shibboleth from https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/SHIB2/Home I have also installed Identity provider (IdP) and Service Provide (SP) from https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/SHIB2/Installation Still I am unable to make out how my "abc.com", third party application and Shibboleth will fit into one picture? Can anyone please guide me?

  Hi, i'm having this issue, in ASP.NET MVC 2 where I'm adding a drop down list on the master page and filling it with data from an abstract master controller. When an option is selected an submit button clicked, it reroutes you to a new page. so lets say the page lives on http://domain.com/landingPage i'm on: http://domain.com/landingPage i select option and submit takes me to http://domain.com/landingPage/Projects/FramedPage i select again and now the post tries to go to: http://domain.com/landingPage/Projects/landingPage/Projects/FramedPage because of the action="" i have set on the form tag. Any ideas on how to go about this?   I'm seeing some unusual behavior when using the DataContractSerializer. Inside my service, I'm using the DataContractSerializer to create an XML string and that's where things get weird. I'm using the serializer like this: DataContractSerializer serializer = new DataContractSerializer(typeof(MyOrder)); using (MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream()) { serializer.WriteObject(ms, order); ms.Position = 0; StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(ms); string outputMessage = sr.ReadToEnd(); } Once this finishes, the outputMessage contains the following XML: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <MyOrder xmlns="http://example.com/v1/order" xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <order> <store> ... </store> <orderHeader> ... </orderHeader> <payments> <payment> ... </payment> </payments> <shipments> <shipment> ... </shipment> </shipments> </order> </MyOrder> Needless to say, anything expecting to receive the original XML message will fail to parse this. So I guess I have two questions: Why is the DataContractSerializer adding the extra outer node to my XML output? Is there a way to stop it from doing this? Thanks.

• Nginx rewrite for link shortener and Wordpress

  I'm a complete newbie to Nginx, so much so that I followed a online guide to do most of my server setup. I'm trying to learn but I'm still a ways away from understanding it all. So what I'm trying to create is a link shortener that redirects (example.com/x) to (example.com/short.php?id=x). Keep in mind that I'm also running a Wordpress blog on the same domain and plan on using the redirects/shortening for external links. The guide has so far had me add the following rewrites to enable Wordpress pretty URLs: # WordPress pretty URLs: (as per dominiek.com) if (-f $request_filename) { break; } if (-d $request_filename) { break; } rewrite ^(.+)$ /index.php?q=$1 last; # Enable nice permalinks for WordPress: (as per Yawn.it) error_page 404 = //index.php?q=$uri; And if it matters any, it was saved at (/usr/local/nginx/conf/wordpress_params.regular). Additionally, my Wordpress link structure adds "news" to all internal links (example.com/news/post-blah, example.com/news/category, ect.). What's the best way to tackle this setup?

  When I try to findViewById() on my custom view I keep getting a ClassCastException. I've tried so many things that I'm sure I've botched the code now! To make sure I'm not going insane I stripped down the classes to their bare minimum inorder to find what was wrong. I'm new to android programming and I'm sure I'm missing something basic. • Deploying a Rails App to Multiple Servers using Capistrano - Best Practices

  I have a rails application that I need to deploy to 3 servers - machine1.com, machine2.com and machine3.com. I want to be able to deploy it to all machines at once and each machine individually. Can someone help me out with a skeleton Capistrano config file / recipe? Should it all be in deploy.rb or should I break it out in machine1.rb, etc? I thought I was on the right track getting Capistrano to take in command line arguments, but it choked when I tried set the roles within the namespaces. I'd like to be able to do the following: cap deploy:machine1:latest_version_from_svn cap deploy:all_machines:latest:version_from_svn Just don't know if it should all be in deploy.rb split up with namespaces or if it should be broken into multiple deploy*.rb files.

• How can I efficiently group a large list of URLs by their host name in Perl?

I have to process this file in order to assign URLs to groups, based on host address: { 'http://www.ex1.com' = ['http://www.ex1.com/...', 'http://www.ex1.com/...', ...], 'http://www.ex2.com' = ['http://www.ex2.com/...', 'http://www.ex2.com/...', ...] } My current basic solution takes about 600 MB of RAM to do this (size of file is about 300 MB). Could you provide some more efficient ways? My current solution simply reads line by line, extracts host address by regex and puts the url into a hash.   I have a php account with my provider, and I also have cpanel installed for me. I currently have two drupal sites there, let's called the main myMainSite and another one under construction called myNewSite. So when I go to www.myMainSite.com, I go to the main site. When I go to myNewSite.myMainSite.com, i go to the drupal site that is under construction. My question is, when my under construction site goes live, I want that all users that go to www.myMainSite.com see the new site (the one that is under myNewSite.myMainSite.com). How can I accomplish this with cpanel? is it within the "addon domains" configuration? I don't want a redirect that changes the address bar, ie, I want to keep the original url.

  I have 3 server, a Apache Server, a JBOSS Server and a CAS Server for SSO. The Apache Server resolve all request with a domain such as www.request.com, and the path of CAS Server is www.request.com/cas, and JBOSS Server is www.request.com/jboss (This app got a CAS client). My problem is if I set SSLVerifyClient require for the NameVirtualHost of www.request.com in my Apache Server, I got a HTTP 500 error during the redirecting to the JBOSS Server(http://www.request.com/jboss), after logined in the CAS login page successfully. • Test multiple domains using ASP.NET development server

  I am developing a single web application that will dynamically change its content depending on which domain name is used to reach the site. Multiple domains will point to the same application. I wish to use the following code (or something close) to detect the domain name and perform the customizations: string theDomainName = Request.Url.Host; switch (theDomainName) { case "www.clientone.com": // do stuff break; case "www.clienttwo.com": // do other stuff break; } I would like to test the functionality of the above using the ASP.NET development server. I created mappings in the local HOSTS file to map www.clientone.com to 127.0.0.1, and www.clienttwo.com to 127.0.0.1. I then browse to the application with the browser using www.clinetone.com (etc). When I try to test this code using the ASP.net development server the URL always says localhost. It does NOT capture the host entered in the browser, only localhost. Is there a way to test the URL detection functionality using the development server? Thanks.

  Our database is filled with articles retrieved from RSS feeds. I was unsure of what data I would be getting, and how much filtering was already setup (WP-O-Matic Wordpress plugin using the SimplePie library). This plugin does some basic encoding before insertion using Wordpress's built in post insert function which also does some filtering. I've figured out most of the filters before insertion, but now I have whacko data that I need to remove. This is an example of whacko data that I have data in one field which the content I want in the front, but this part removed which is at the end: <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?i=xFxEpT2Add0:xFbIkwGc-fk:V_sGLiPBpWU" border="0"></img> <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?d=qj6IDK7rITs" border="0"></img> &lt;img src=&quot;http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/SoundOnTheSound?i=xFxEpT2Add0:xFbIkwGc-fk:D7DqB2pKExk&quot; Notice how some of the images are escape and some aren't. I believe this has to do with the last part being cut off so as to be unrecognizable as an html tag, which then caused it to be html endcoded. Another field has only this which is now filtered before insertion, but I have to get rid of the others: &lt;img src=&quot;http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2183/2289902369_1d95bcdb85.jpg&quot; alt=&quot;post_img&quot; width=&quot;80&quot; (all examples are on one line, but broken up for readability) Question: What is the best way to work with the above escaped html (or portion of an html tag)? I can do it in Perl, PHP, SQL, Ruby, and even Python. I believe Perl to be the best at text parsing, so that's why I used the Perl tag. And PHP times out on large database operations, so that's pretty much out unless I wanted to do batch processing and what not. PS One of the nice things about using Wordpress's insert post function, is that if you use php's strip_tags function to strip out all html, insert post function will insert <p> at the paragraph points.
