  • How to find dom0 name from hosted domU

    I'm actually testing RHEL 5.3 with Xen between two servers in order to have a disaster recovery solution. So I'm playing with moving my domU from one dom0 server to the other server. Unfortunatly when somebody else move the domU I don't have any clue where my domain is hosted. I'm wondering where I can't find my dom0 name with inside domU. I'm looking for something like the gzonename command on a solaris sparse zone. I check inside /proc/xen but I don't see anything special except the dom0 kernel release. Does anybody know a wait to find this ?

  • Find command exclude files whose path match a certain pattern

    I have a find command that looks for files that was modified recently and outputs the date find /path/on/server -mtime -1 -name '*.js' -exec ls -l {} \; I would like it to exclude any deeply nested folder that matches a certain pattern e.g. there are a number of folders that have a "statistics" directory and ".svn" directories. So i'd like to be able to say if the file that was modified yesterday is in a folder named statistics ignore it. Or perhaps not search for files in those folders at all.

    Hello, I recently formatet and reinstalled XP on my girlfriends computer. Ive had this computer since 2001, never formatet it, until now =) Anyway the problem is that i cant find any drivers for the motherboard (integrated audio, video and ethernet). as i said its an old ass Dell. Cant remember if I got any cds along with it. Even if i did theyre gone a long time ago. So, I ran CPUZ and got this: --Motherboard-- Dell Computer Corp. 0K8980 And started googling. But didnt find any drivers. Still cant So im asking for a little help here. I really need to get the computer going before she wants a new one :D And yes i have looked on dells homesite, but they dont seem to wanna host drivers for their old stuff

    Hi My component is responsible for downloading files from the server. As part of file validation I have used CAPICOM (SignedCode object) to validate if a certificate contains a specific string and call to Validate method of the SignedCode object. In case the file contains certificate without a requested string in the name, user was prompted if he trust this file. Since CAPICOM going to be deprecated by Microsoft, I need to implement these logic using .NET libraries. How I can get the same functionality using .NET libraries? Is there any example on the web?     I have a TabHost with a bunch of tabs each with a TabSpec. I'd like to change the content of one of the TabSpecs but I don't seem to be able to. I've read a few places that it's not possible to change the content of a TabSpec. Does anyone know why I can add/remove tabs but not change the content of them? And can anyone suggest a workaround for this problem?

    I've got an image on the page (class='image') within the div (class='galleria_wrapper') and want to place a caption (class='caption') at the lower right corner under that image. The image could be vertical or horizontal, and making a fixed padding-right value let's say .caption<{float:right;padding-top:5px;padding-right:90px;} is not working for one or another. I need to switch on the fly padding-right value depending on horizontal or vertical image is currently on the page. I can theoretically access image's width through document.getElementByName('image').width although don't understand where to put that code. So, I probably need something like that: document.getElementByClass('caption').padding-right = (document.getElementByName('galleria_wrapper').width - document.getElementByName('image').width)/2 Where do I put this code? I do have that in my css file: .caption{float:right;padding-top:5px;} which places the caption below the image, but to far to the right (div 'galleria_wrapper' is wider than most of the images supposed to be displayed within that area). I have an img tag in the html: <img src=image title='this is caption' /></li> ...and some JavaScript which makes title displayed styled by the "caption" css definition. How do I assign variable value for the padding-right without in-advance knowledge of particular image's width?

    I have a bunch of links in a document which has to be replaced by a javascript call. All the links looks the same: <a href="http://domain/ViewDocument.aspx?id=3D1&doc=form" target="_blank">Document naam 1</a> <a href="http://domain/ViewDocument.aspx?id=3D2&doc=form" target="_blank">Document naam 2</a> <a href="http://domain/ViewDocument.aspx?id=3D3&doc=form" target="_blank">Document naam 3</a> Now I want all this links to be replaced to: <a href="javascript:loadDocument('1','form')">Document naam 1</a> <a href="javascript:loadDocument('2','form')">Document naam 2</a> <a href="javascript:loadDocument('3','form')">Document naam 3</a> So the Id=3D in the url is the first parameter in the function and the doc parameter is the second parameter in the function call. I want to do this using Regex because I think this is the quickest way. But the problem is my regex knowledge is too limited

    Hi all, I have a table called Users (class User < ActiveRecord::Base) and a subclass/STI of it for Clients (class Client < User). Client "filtering" works as expected, in other words Client.find(:all) works to find all the clients. However, for users I need to filter the result to only find users that are NOT clients (where type is null or blank). I've tried the following in my index controller but no matter what I put for the type it returns all users regardless of type. User.find(:all, :conditions => { :type => nil }, :order => 'name') Any clue on how to get this condition to work? Thanks!

    I have a text blob field in a MySQL column that contains HTML. I have to change some of the markup, so I figured I'll do it in a ruby script. Ruby is irrelevant here, but it would be nice to see an answer with it. The markup looks like the following: <h5>foo</h5> <table> <tbody> </tbody> </table> <h5>bar</h5> <table> <tbody> </tbody> </table> <h5>meow</h5> <table> <tbody> </tbody> </table> I need to change just the first <h5>foo</h5> block of each text to <h2>something_else</h2> while leaving the rest of the string alone. Can't seem to get the proper PCRE regex, using Ruby.

    I've got a cell array of empty cells and ones that I want to convert to a logical array, where the empty cells are zeros. When I use cell2mat, the empty cells are ignored, and I end up with a matrix of solely 1's, with no reference to the previous index they held. Is there a way to perform this operation without using loops? Example code: for n=1:5 %generate sample cell array mycellarray{n}=1; end mycellarray{2}=[] %remove one value for testing Things I've tried: mylogicalarray=logical(cell2mat(mycellarray)); which results in [1,1,1,1], not [1,0,1,1,1]. for n=1:length(mycellarray) if isempty(mycellarray{n}) mycellarray{n}=0; end end mylogicalarray=logical(cell2mat(mycellarray)); which works, but uses loops.

    Hi, I'd like to somehow find out which CFC is calling my method. I have a logging CFC which is called by many different CFC's. On this logging CFC there's a need to store which CFC called for the log. Whilst I could simply pass the CFC name as an argument to my log.cfc, I find this to be a repetitive task, that might not be necessary, if I somehow could find out "who's" calling the method on log.cfc Is there any programmatic way of achieving this? If not please close this. I know that no one framework or language is necessarily the only tool for every job. But, do you see MVC eclipsing webforms or webforms going lower on the priority list for Microsoft? They will have to keep webforms for a long time because so many have invested in it, but they don't have to keep adding new functionality for it. I don't know if this is a good example, but it reminds me of web parts. I never saw much improvement in it from Microsoft. It works and I thought it was great until I started to really try and get a lot out of it. Then from what I could see it just wasn't being pursued by Microsoft that much, though it stayed in Visual Studio. Maybe that's a bad example; just what I remembered. EDIT: Also, if anyone has any statements from Microsoft on this subject it is appreciated. No offense to anyone. I was only hoping for something official.

    Hey there again! Today I ran into a problem when I was making a new theme creator for chrome. As you may know, Chrome uses a "new" file format, called CRX, to manage it's plugins and themes. It is a basic zip file, but a bit modified: "Cr24" + derkey + signature + zipFile And here comes the problem. There are only two CRX creators, written in Ruby or Python. I don't know neither language too much (had some basic experience in Python though, but mostly with PyS60), so I would like to ask you to help me convert this python app to a C# code that doesn't depend on external programs.   • Replace these OpenGL functions with OpenGL ES?

    I search for a possibility to migrate my PC OpenGL application and an iPhone App into one XCode project (for convenience). So if I make chances to these source files I want to apply this for both plattforms and want to be able to compile for both plattforms from one project. How could I accomplish this? Is there a way to do so in XCode 4 or 3.25? Any help would be highly appreciated edit: Okay, I went so far - All in all, it seems to work with XCode 4. My only problems are these openGL/Glut functions, that aren't working on iPhone: glPushAttrib( GL_DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT | GL_LIGHTING_BIT ); glPopAttrib(); glutGet(GLUT_ELAPSED_TIME); glutSwapBuffers(); Any ideas how to fix these issues?
