  • Finding a ProjectItem by type name via DTE

    Given a type name, is it possible to use DTE to find the ProjectItem that the type is located in? Something similar to how the Navigate To... dialog works in Visual Studio 2010. The closest I could find is Solution.FindProjectItem, but that takes in a file name. Thanks!

I've tried using something along the lines of: CGContextSetShadowWithColor(context, CGSizeMake(2, 2), 2, [[UIColor grayColor] CGColor]); CGContextFillPath(context); But this only works when the image has transparent areas, if the image isn't transparent at all, it won't even draw a shadow around the border. I'm wondering if there is something I'm doing wrong?

    Hi, Take for example the list (L): John, John, John, John, Jon We are to presume one item is to be correct (e.g. John in this case), and give a probability it is correct. First (and good!) attempt: MostFrequentItem(L).Count / L.Count (e.g. 4/5 or 80% likelihood) But consider the cases: John, John, Jon, Jonny John, John, Jon, Jon I want to consider the likelihood of the correct item being John to be higher in the first list! I know I have to count the SecondMostFrequent Item and compare them. Any ideas? This is really busting my brain! Thx, Andrew

    I'm running into an issue when trying to geolocate users whom are using blackberry devices. Currently there are a few checks that I go through to geolocate the individual the first, using the navigator paramater inside browsers. if(navigator.geolocation) if this fails then I have a backup using a free service (for testing) from maxmind: See Here Yet this doesn't return back the city at all either. I've then tried using the JSPI that google maps proviedes, and echoing out the google.loader.ClientLocation: if (google.loader.ClientLocation != null) { document.write("Your Location Is: " + google.loader.ClientLocation.address.city + ", " + google.loader.ClientLocation.address.region + " lat: " + google.loader.ClientLocation.latitude + " Long: " + google.loader.ClientLocation.longitude); } else { document.write("Your Location Was Not Detected By Google Loader"); } When this didn't work I tried following the google maps 3.0 detect location seen here: Detecting Location I've done all this after seeing this work correctly in google latitude.. so I know there has to be a way to get the location... any thoughts, ideas on what I could possibly try?     I'm trying to set up a page that will allow users to download files from a shared drive (where the file is actually sent via the page). I don't understand what the problem could be or what it's even complaining about.

    Hello all, I am trying to find all links in a div and then printing those links. I am using the Simple HTML Dom to parse the HTML file.   • Finding first alphabetic character in a DB2 database field

    I'm doing a bit of work which requires me to truncate DB2 character-based fields. Essentially, I need to discard all text which is found at or after the first alphabetic character. e.g. 102048994BLAHBLAHBLAH becomes:- 102048994 In SQL Server, this would be a doddle - PATINDEX would swoop in and save the day. Much celebration would ensue. My problem is that I need to do this in DB2. Worse, the result needs to be used in a join query, also in DB2. I can't find an easy way to do this. Is there a PATINDEX equivalent in DB2? Is there another way to solve this problem? If need be, I'll hardcode 26 chained LOCATE functions to get my result, but if there is a better way, I am all ears.

Could not find image using img [usemap=\#map_books] I've escaped the elemId because it starts with a hash and tried variations of selectors. $("img [usemap$=" + elemId.substring(1) + "]") $("img").find("[usemap=\\" + elemId + "]") Neither find the image. Any ideas?

    I have a SQL Server database of organizations, and there are many duplicate rows. I want to run a select statement to grab all of these and the amount of dupes, but also return the ids that are associated with each organization. A statement like: SELECT orgName, COUNT(*) AS dupes FROM organizations GROUP BY orgName HAVING (COUNT(*) > 1) Will return something like orgName | dupes ABC Corp | 7 Foo Federation | 5 Widget Company | 2 But I'd also like to grab the IDs of them. Is there any way to do this? Maybe like a orgName | dupeCount | id ABC Corp | 1 | 34 ABC Corp | 2 | 5 ... Widget Company | 1 | 10 Widget Company | 2 | 2 The reason being that there is also a separate table of users that link to these organizations, and I would like to unify them (therefore remove dupes so the users link to the same organization instead of dupe orgs). But I would like part manually so I don't screw anything up, but I would still need a statement returning the IDs of all the dupe orgs so I can go through the list of users. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I'm pretty sure I can set it in server/conf/jndi.properties as well, but I was hoping to avoid another magic config file.     I am streaming a MP3 over network using custom feeding code, not AVAudioPlayer (which only works with URLs) using APIs like AudioFileStreamOpen and etc. Is there any way to estimate a length of the stream? I know that I can get a 'elapsed' property using: if(AudioQueueGetCurrentTime(queue.audioQueue, NULL, &t, &b) < 0) return 0; return t.mSampleTime / dataFormat.mSampleRate; But what about total duration to create a progress bar? Is that possible?

    I have flex advancedDataGrid (could use dataGrid if that works better, though i like my meta-column headers), and i want to have a component popup on top of a selected row. The problem is, i can figure out how to reference an actual rendered row of a datagrid (rather than an item of the dataprovider) in order to get its position on the screen. Does anyone have any theories on how to access a "row" of a datagrid, or at least get its position? Cheers

It tryes to find jni4net.j-0.7.1.0.jar near the jni4net.n-0.7.1.0.dll and can't.   • Finding if a Binary Tree is a Binary Search Tree

    Today I had an interview where I was asked to write a program which takes a Binary Tree and returns true if it is also a Binary Search Tree otherwise false. My Approach1: Perform an inroder traversal and store the elements in O(n) time. Now scan through the array/list of elements and check if element at ith index is greater than element at (i+1)th index. If such a condition is encountered, return false and break out of the loop. (This takes O(n) time). At the end return true. But this gentleman wanted me to provide an efficient solution. I tried but I was unsuccessfult, because to find if it is a BST I have to check each node. Moreover he was pointing me to think over recusrion. My Approach 2: A BT is a BST if for any node N N-left is < N and N-right N , and the INorder successor of left node of N is less than N and the inorder successor of right node of N is greater than N and the left and right subtrees are BSTs. But this is going to be complicated and running time doesn't seem to be good. Please help if you know any optimal solution. Thanks.
