  • UITableView: moving a row into an empty section

    I have a UITableView with some empty sections. I'd like the user to be able to move a row into them using the standard edit mode controls. The only way I can do it so far is to have a dummy row in my "empty" sections and try to hide it by using tableView:heightForRowAtIndexPath: to give the dummy row a height of zero. This seems to leave it as a 1-pixel row. I can probably hide this by making a special type of cell that's just filled with [UIColor groupTableViewBackgroundColor], but is there a better way? This is all in the grouped mode of UITableView UPDATE: Looks like moving rows into empty sections IS possible without any tricks, but the "sensitivity" is bad enough that you DO need tricks in order to make it usable for general users (who won't be patient enough to slowly hover the row around the empty section until things click)

When I deploy to Heroku I get java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to initialize due to invalid secret key at org.springframework.security.crypto.encrypt.CipherUtils.initCipher(CipherUtils.java:110) at org.springframework.security.crypto.encrypt.AesBytesEncryptor.encrypt(AesBytesEncryptor.java:65) at org.springframework.security.crypto.encrypt.HexEncodingTextEncryptor.encrypt(HexEncodingTextEncryptor.java:36) ... Caused by: java.security.InvalidKeyException: Illegal key size at javax.crypto.Cipher.checkCryptoPerm(Cipher.java:972) at javax.crypto.Cipher.implInit(Cipher.java:738) at javax.crypto.Cipher.chooseProvider(Cipher.java:797) at javax.crypto.Cipher.init(Cipher.java:1276) at javax.crypto.Cipher.init(Cipher.java:1215) at org.springframework.security.crypto.encrypt.CipherUtils.initCipher(CipherUtils.java:105) ... 53 more So I tried some smaller keys but I always get the same problem. What is the correct key size to use on Heroku?

    Let's say I have two entities, Employee and Skill. Every employee has a set of skills. Now when I load the skills lazily through the Employee instances the cache is not used for skills in different instances of Employee. Let's Consider the following data set.     I have a simplified table xx as follows: rdate date rtime time rid integer rsub integer rval integer primary key on (rdate,rtime,rid,rsub) and I want to get the average (across all times) of the sums (across all ids) of the values. By way of a sample table, I have (with consecutive identical values blanked out for readability): rdate rtime rid rsub rval ------------------------------------- 2010-01-01 00.00.00 1 1 10 2 20 2 1 30 2 40 01.00.00 1 1 50 2 60 2 1 70 2 80 02.00.00 1 1 90 2 100 2010-01-02 00.00.00 1 1 999 I can get the sums I want with: select rdate,rtime,rid, sum(rval) as rsum from xx where rdate = '2010-06-01' group by rdate,rtime,rid which gives me: rdate rtime rid rsum ------------------------------- 2010-01-01 00.00.00 1 30 (10+20) 2 70 (30+40) 01.00.00 1 110 (50+60) 2 150 (70+80) 02.00.00 1 190 (90+100) as expected. Now what I want is the query that will also average those values across the time dimension, giving me: rdate rtime ravgsum ---------------------------- 2010-01-01 00.00.00 50 ((30+70)/2) 01.00.00 130 ((110+150)/2) 02.00.00 190 ((190)/1) I'm using DB2 for z/OS but I'd prefer standard SQL if possible.

YAHOO.keycoes.myDatatable = myDatatable; ... myDatatable.subscribe("rowClickEvent", oneventclickrow); var oneventclickrow = function( args ) { ... } I'd like to invoke the function subscribed to rowClickEvent on the row which is currently highlighted in the datatable (the row which was clicked for the last time). I've tried to do something like this: YAHOO.keycoes.myDatatable.getSelectedRows()[0].rowClickEvent() but getSelectedRows() doesn't return any row. How can I get the highlighted row in the datatable and then call the function associated with rowClickEvent? Thanks

    I'm using an NSTreeController to manage nodes for an NSOutlineView. When the user adds a new item, I create a new object and insert it: EntityViewEntityNode *newNode = [EntityViewEntityNode nodeWithName:@"New entity" entity:newObject]; // Insert at end of group // NSIndexPath *insertAt = [pathOfGroupNode indexPathByAddingIndex:[selected.children count]]; [entityCollectionTreeController insertObject:newNode atArrangedObjectIndexPath:insertAt]; Now I'd like to open the table column for edit so the user can name the new item. This seems logical: NSInteger row = [entityCollectionOutlineView rowForItem:newNode]; [entityCollectionOutlineView editColumn:0 row:row withEvent:nil select:YES]; However, row is always -1 indicating the object isn't found. Poking around reveals that the tree controller is not actually putting my objects directly in the tree, but is wrapping them in a node object of its own. Anyone have insight into how I would go about getting a row index relative to the outline view, so I can do this (without, hopefully, enumerating everything in the outline view and figuring out the mapping back to my node?)

I've got a "master" table and a bunch of "child" tables which have a foreign key into the ID of the master table. I need to not only create a perfect copy of the master table, but clone each and every child table referencing the master table. Is there a simpler way to do this than creating a new row in the master table, copying in the information from the row to be cloned, then going through each child table and doing the same with each row pointing to the cloned row in the master table? I'm using a SQL Server 2005 Database accessed through C# ASP.net MVC 1.0.

    Greetings, I am new to MDX, and am having trouble understanding how to perform an aggregation on a hierarchy level with members that have the same names. This query is particular to Microsoft Analysis Services 2000 cubes. I have a given hierarchy dimension with levels defined as follows: [Segment].[Flow].[Segment Week] Within the [Segment Week] level, I have the following members: [Week- 1] [Week- 2] [Week- 3] ... [Week- 1] [Week- 2] [Week- 3] The members have the same names, but are aligned with a different [Flow] in the parent level. So, the first occurrence of the [Week- 1] member aligns with [Flow].[A] while the second occurrence of [Week- 1] aligns with [Flow].[B]. What I am trying to do is aggregate all the members within the [Segment Week] level that have the same name. In SQL terms, I want to GROUP BY the member names within the [Segment Week] level.     Hi everyone, I have changed the Configure::write('Security.salt', '############'); value in the file config/core.php file to a '256-bit hex key'. Is it safe or a good practice to change these lines for every different installation of cakephp application or shall I revert back to the original ? I also changed the Configure::write('Security.cipherSeed','7927237598237592759727'); to a different one of more length. Please throw some light on this. Thanks

I want to select a row in TableB based on AValue using a join. The following query is what I have and only grabs a value from TableB based on AId, I just don't know how to grab a row from TableB using AValue.
