I'm trying to download a file from a cgi script. http://someserver/perl/dl.pl?ID=2 Using a browser the filename comes up as 'remotefilename.gz' cURL wants to save the file as 'dl.pl?ID=2' How do I get cURL to save to a file with the filename from the response header??

  i downloaded the "phantomjs-1.7.0-windows.zip " for windows from the following url: http://phantomjs.org/download.html. i even set up the path of the extracted folder in the environment variables.But i am getting the "parse error" when i try to enter any command like "phantomjs --version" in the phantomjs.exe command prompt. my windows is 64 bit . I am not getting the reason y it is throwing the error.could u please suggest me what the problem would be with ??

  I just want to make sure I'm understanding the documentation correctly. If I add System.Data.SqlServerCe as a reference in my Visual Studio 2008 project, compile it, and copy the contents of the "bin\Release" directory to a Windows machine that has the latest version of the .NET framework, will it just work?   I got a Type whose FullName is (if this helps) : "System.Collections.ObjectModel.ObservableCollection`1[[System.String, mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089]]" From that Type, I'd like to get "System.Collections.ObjectModel.ObservableCollection" as a string but I'd like to do it "cleanly", which means, without spliting the string with the char '`'. I think the strategy is to get something like a Type or something else whose FullName will be "System.Collections.ObjectModel.ObservableCollection" but I really don't manage to do it :/

  I am storing an object in session state (using local session state server), class def is: [Serializable] public class ExtendedOAuth2Parameters : OAuth2Parameters but the service is still reporting: Unable to serialize the session state. In 'StateServer' and 'SQLServer' mode, ASP.NET will serialize the session state objects, and as a result non-serializable objects or MarshalByRef objects are not permitted. [SerializationException: Type 'Google.GData.Client.OAuth2Parameters' in Assembly 'Google.GData.Client, Version=2.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=04a59ca9b0273830' is not marked as serializable.] How to get around it?

  Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on.   I have an sql statement that currently is just returning all the end parent rows for a list of child rows: SELECT DISTINCT row FROM table heirarchy WHERE parent_row = NULL CONNECT BY nocycle PRIOR parent_row = row START WITH row IN (select statement returning child rows) Is there a way to show the child and its corresponding parent together in the same result set using a modified version of my sql? • Why do I get so many errors building my Android project with Ant?

  Now that I sort of know my way around the SDK/API, I've switched from Eclipse back to my favorite text editor, which means I have to use ant to build my project, however: It seems every other time I compile the project, a lot of drawables get corrupted, resources lose their ids (resulting in NPEs in the code), or classes throw "Verify Errors". The only way to fix this is by removing the bin and gen folders, and recompiling, which is obviously annoying. Is there any way to avoid this? btw, I'm using ant 1.7.1, java version "1.6.0_20"

According to the documentation synchronization is done via the command git svn or a separate command wrapper called git-svn Neither of them is available in my installation and I could not find a separate download for Windows binaries. I'm currenty using the MSYS build. Must I switch to cygwin?

• Default Sorting in DynamicData

  I am using DynamicData in the version that shipped with VS2008. In the default List view, the data is sorted by order of entry into the database. I'd like to get it sorted by a field of a specific name (descending). As a last resort I tried to use the OrderByParameter of the LinqDataSource with a QueryStringParameter, but I could not get it to sort anything. =) Is there an easy way to accomplish this?
