Similarly to how Soundcloud does it with their music player in their iPhone app (See pic). No matter where you go in the application the music player view stays at the top below the toolbar.

Currently, we have local search within messaging app which works fine but how do I make messaging globally searchable. • Refreshing Visual Studio's COM references tab

  I right-clicked on the bin folder of my web app to add a COM Reference. I did not find the desired Com reference in the list. I went back to the Command Line to register by desired Com dll using resvr32. However, the COM references tab does not shows it (looks like the information is cached somewhere). Even restarting VS did not help. Is their any easy way to refresh the COM references tab without rebooting the machine itself??

  I've noticed in recent ads that the Verizon Droid and Droid Eris have to put up acknowledgement on Lucasfilm's trademark of the word "Droid", and had to pay licensing fees to use it. I'm wondering if an app I'm building that uses the word Droid in the naming is violating said trademark. I've noticed other apps that do it (Twitdroid), and never once considered it a problem. The name in question would be ServiceDroid.

  Not sure if many people are familiar with Scaffolding Extensions for Ruby, but I've looked through their docs, forums, and even the source code of the Heroku test site, and not found an answer.   I have a web app that has several tree views. When the page loads i see the unordered lists and after a small latency the styling of the tree is rendered into the DOM. Is there a way to mask the webapp, and have a spinner in the middle of the screen, and when everything on the page is fully rendered the spinner goes away and the mask fades out? Kind of like a semi transparent mask that you would see on a lightbox pop-up dialog.

• Web.Config issue with Unit Testing

  I am trying to unit test a lot of my MVC controllers, but unfortunately it keeps failing because it needs a lot of settings from the web.config.. Which I copied over but does not read it, what I'm needing is the membership and rolemanager but I can't just add it to the app.config either, which I've been able to get the connection strings and application settings to work with.. Any idea how to get the web.config to work with MSTest?
