• Best forum solution for symfony

  I'm looking for a good solution to integrate a forum in a symfony application. Something like phpBB. I've seen the plugins to integrate just the user of phpBB with symfony but that's not enough, and mapping database tables is a lame aprouch. So if anybody knows a good working component of a forum that would go well with a symfony app then I would really apreciate it :) Thanks !

  I have many ymls in my rails app, and i want to put some of them in other service, so that i can call this from multiple places. the response of this call will be a hash. {"en" : {"test" : {"text1" : "hi english"}, {"text2" : "mambo number %{num}"} }, "es" : {"test" : {"text1" : "hi espaniol"}, {"text2" : "mamboes numeros %{num}"} } } is there a way i can load that hash into I18n translations like I18n.add_translations(some_hash) so i can access them with I18n.t("test.text1") I18n.t("test.text2", :num => 5) how can i achieve it?

  In my app I've implemented a shake event and it shows a UIImageView. When the UIImageView is shown, I hide the Nav Bar with: [self.navigationController setNavigationBarHidden:YES animated:NO]; And after that I want to bring it back when user touches the screen: - (void)touchesEnded:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event { [[self navigationController] setNavigationBarHidden:NO animated:YES]; } But it doesn't work!   In my rails app I have defined the routes so users can access records like http://mydomain.com/qwe2 But if they type a wrong "qwe2" they get a 500 page. I think a 404 would be more appropriate. How can I change the error page that is shown? Thanks

  I was just messing around with Apple's GLPaint sample app to learn more about OpenGL, and I noticed that whenever you draw a line, it's always preceded by a dot. Basically, it looks like: .________ Does anyone know why this happens? I'm guessing it's some weirdness with touchesBegan/Moved/Ended, but I can't verify. It's been driving me crazy all morning!

  Hey, I've been developing an application in the windows console with Java, and want to put it online in all of its console-graphics-glory. Is there a simple web applet API I can use to port my app over? I'm just using basic System.out and System.in functionality, but I'm happy to rebuild my I/O wrappers. I think something along these lines would be a great asset to any beginning Java developers who want to put their work online.
