  • My site will not process Credit Cards [closed]

    Authorized.net was processing my credit card purchases until the end of Feb. As of 3/1/2011 they no longer will process electronic cigarette transactions. Processing network told us we would have a seamless transition over to a processor called EPN. Now we can not process and credit card orders at all. I have been told it's an SSL concern (EPN says no) I have been told it's an issue between Authorized.net and EPN again I am told no. Might site worked and functioned fine until the "seamless" transition took place. Please help me out here. Thanks Dave

    Hi. I'm new to these forums so I'll be quick. When I try to upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 from 10.04 I get this error, I have tried upgrading from Terminal and Update Manager as well. Could not determine the upgrade An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade: E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages. This can be caused by: * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu If none of this applies, then please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bug report.   • Cannot change User Accounts settings

    I recently changed the name of the administrator and turned off passwords then clicked lock. After some time, I decided to add a password so I clicked on unlock and it's prompting me to enter a password. I tried typing the old password and it didn't accepted it. I also tried to set password and keys as "set to default" but still nothing happened. Now I'm stuck and can't get to change the administrator settings. I did my research but nothing seems to work. Please help.

    God Day. This is my first day with you people so please acept my apologies whether something is not good enough or my english is no that good. To the point ------------------------------------------ After upgrading from 13.10 to 14.4 my sound was lost. Even I've tryied several sugestions from you (and other helpers) I've got nothing. My dual (UBUNTU/WINDOWS) Desktop sound works fine in windows!!!(damm!!) my DELL Inspiration laptop sound works fine in UBUNTU 14.4 LTS. ¿?¿? Do anybody knows Which is actually the origin of the problem? Is there any solution diferent to assay-error metodology? Is'nt every newer version of UBUNTU enough double checked before releasing it?   • Ubuntu One Files for Android will not let me log in

    I installed Ubuntu One Files on my Nexus One phone. When I tap Log in on the main screen, the app tries to log in then after a few seconds returns the following message: Log-in failed, please try again later. I have an Ubuntu One account, and when I tap Register on the main screen for Ubuntu One Files, I can log in using my phone's Web browser. But if I go back to the app and try to log in, I get the same error. Again, my phone is a Nexus One running Android 2.3.4. The phone is not rooted or modded in any way.

    Are there any ad networks that give publishers/websites the ability to display adverts that are chosen by the publisher immediately on page load. Lets say the page loads, and a script inserts certain key words that the ad network uses to search their inventory of adverts and assigns the nearest one with matching tags to the publisher advert area? I know Google's adsense and many other similar services index/reads the pages content and then assign certain advert depending on the content with little or no control by the publisher... Any help is appreciated.

    Hello my problem is getting annoying. Its my hard drive whats being funny i guess but here's the problem , before updating ubuntu everything was fine , and now im stuck on loading screen with white and orange dots , when i press S the system crashes and gives black screen and ctrl+alt+f1 doesnt show anything , system works fine on liveCD but i want it working on harddrive , any suggestions what to do , if i can access harddrive but not system itself? how i could fix it? i hope someone can help me out real soon.

    I've been toying with the idea for the last few years and I figured it was about time to start asking questions about it! Here goes: I'm a Senior-level .NET/C# programmer from the UK, with 7 years of commercial experience in industry and looking to work over across the pond in the big ol' USA! This is with a view to live there on a permanent basis. My idea is to try and set up some interviews and go over there for a week to attend them, then I guess wait for responses in hopes they'd sponsor me for a working VISA. I'd like to know is there anyone out there with any experience of doing the same thing? Was it difficult finding work? Is there anything I should know before embarking on this route? How long did the transition take? Update: Considering the down votes, either I've posted this in the wrong place, or people really don't like my query. If so, please shed some light.

  • Ubuntu 12.10 beta2 on Thinkpad T60

    I have a thinkpad T60 installed with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 without any problem. However, after I upgraded Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10 (beta2) I found my Windows 7 was missing in the grub menu. I also tried fresh installation for Ubuntu 12.10 beta2 several times (with and without partition but the result was same (It was also very strange that the restart doesn't work). I also noticed that the installer (I burned a live DVD) could not detect Windows 7. Finally I decided to re-install 12.04 and Windows 7 came back again. Could anybody please tell me what might be the problem?
