  Hi all, when I launch my app, I keep getting this CGContextFillEllipseInRect: invalid context error. My app is simply to make the circle 'pinchable'.   Hi, I'm writing up an iPhone app using the Google Maps API V3, and I was wondering if it is still possible the use the stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString function in the (void)webViewDidFinishLoad:(UIWebView *)webView function? A simple example being changing the map type (Assuming basic map setup): - (void)webViewDidFinishLoad:(UIWebView *)webView{ [webView stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString:@"map.setMapTypeId(google.maps.MapTypeId.SATELLITE);"];} This was very possible the the 2.0 API, but I can't seem to get it right in the 3.0 API.   Hi, on my silverlight 4 app I am trying to link up the drop event on a list box to my viewmodel. I am using expression blend 4's event trigger and invokecommandaction to hook up the drop event. Setting break points on my viewmodel, I can see the relevant function is fired when I drag a file onto the list box, however I cant seem to get access to the drageventArgs. I tried sending the entire listbox as a command parameter, and that doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks

  I'm trying to set org.springframework.beans.factory.config.PropertyPlaceholderConfigurer spring bean, I have jdbc.properties in src/main/config .. when I put this file in src/main/resources and put classpath: in value my app deploys successfuly. This works when jdbc.properties is located in src/main/resources <property name="location" value="classpath:jdbc.properties" /> However I'm required to put any configuration inside src/main/config , how do I point springs towards this location in the right way?

I would like the selector to be fired only once. I have tried to prevent further selectors being fired by setting the gesture recognizer's enabled property to Note the first time the selector is fired, but this only takes effect after the selector is fired again. How can I ensure the selector is fired only once?

  greetings all i am deploying an app using spring framework on the apache tomcat when running the application from the tomcat directly,there's no jsessionid appended to any url at all but after mapping the application to the domain,and trying to run it i got a jsessionid appended to each url in the application,i tried the spring security attribute disable-url-rewriting but it doesn't work,it removes the jsessionid from the url but the application doesn't work no more,the user cannot login. so i guess it's another problem,any ideas why this happens,how to solve it? thanks.

  my company's internet works on proxy server with Authentication(i.e. Browser prompts with window for username/password everytime i tried to access any web page). Now i have some windows application which tries to access internet(like WebPI/Visual Studio 2008 for rss feeds), but as they are unable to popup the the authentication window, they are unable to connect with internet with error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required . Here the exception is VS2008, first time it always fails to load rss feeds on startup page, but when i click on the link, it shows authentication window and everything works fine after that. my question is: How can i configure normal windows application(through app.config/app.manifest file) accessing web to able to show the authentication window or provide default credentials. For explore this furthor, i have created one console application on VS2008 which tries to serach something on google and display the result on console. • "Wrapping" a BindingList<T> propertry with a List<T> property for serialization.

  I'm writing an app that allows users search and browse catalogs of widgets. My WidgetCatalog class is serialized and deserialized to and from XML files using DataContractSerializer. My app is working now but I think I can make the code a lot more efficient if I started taking advantage of data binding rather then doing everything manually. Here's a stripped down version of my current WidgetCatalog class. [DataContract(Name = "WidgetCatalog")] class WidgetCatalog { [DataContract(Name = "Name")] public string Name { get; set; } [DataContract(Name = "Widgets")] public List<Widget> Widgets { get; set; } } I had to write a lot of extra code to keep my UI in sync when widgets are added or removed from a catalog, or their internal properties change. I'm pretty inexperienced with data-binding, but I think I want a BindingList<Widget> rather than a plain old List<Widget>. Is this right? In the past when I had similar needs I found that BindingList<T> does not serialize very well. Or at least the Event Handers between the items and the list are not serialized. I was using XmlSerializer though, and DataContractSerializer may work better. So I'm thinking of doing something like the code below. [DataContract(Name = "WidgetCatalog")] class WidgetCatalog { [DataMember(Name = "Name")] public string Name { get; set; } [DataMember(Name = "Widgets")] private List<Widget> WidgetSerializationList { get { return this._widgetBindingList.ToList<Widget>(); } set { this._widgetBindingList = new BindingList<Widget>(value); } } //these do not get serialized private BindingList<Widget> _widgetBindingList; public BindingList<Widget> WidgetBindingList { get { return this._widgetBindingList; } } public WidgetCatalog() { this.WidgetSerializationList = new List<Widget>(); } } So I'm serializing a private List<Widget> property, but the GET and SET accessors of the property are reading from, and writing to theBindingList<Widget> property. Will this even work? It seems like there should be a better way to do this.
