    Hi, I am trying to find a way for our users to very easily upload their outlook contacts into our web application (mysql database). I'm not sure where to begin. I've seen various tools which are pretty complex. I am open to existing third-party solutions, but my hope is that there is something which is very simple to use or build. Thanks. PS: Ideally, it would not involve using visual basic.

    Hi all, I am learning how to use JQuery to help check data availability. To start with it, I wrote a few lines of codes using cakePHP. I have written a function in a Controller for checking data input, and the URL is like this: http://www.mywebsite.com/controllers/action/avariable I was trying to pass the value in a Input TextBox field using the JQuery Ajax to the URL above,but I don't know why it is not working in passing a variable to the Controller's action.     An XML file is being posted to a url that my spring mvc is responding to. In .NET, I could do this: request.Form[0] request.Form["abc"] or request.QueryString[0] request.QueryString["some_key"] Now with spring/servlets it seems I can only do this: request.getParameter("some_key") or get all the names or values. When someone is posting a file to a url, using http post, won't this be just a single request parameter then? Can I get the parameter using index with servlets?

    Does the native Blackberry API allow for the modification of any messaging interface? For example, I'd like to be able to build an app that added a button at the bottom of a received message which says 'translate this'. I've heard that this kind of thing is possible using J2ME plus the native BlackBerry API. Can this be done for all kinds of messages, eg SMS, email and BB messaging? The translation aspect is not relevant, it just provides the context for the kind of feature I'm after.

This is how I plan to do it, but it's ugly and I can't change the parameter name 'id': $.post('ajax.php?'+order,{action:'updateOrder'}); Maybe I need to unserialize, then implode the variable 'order' and assign it to just one parameter?
