• Visibility.Collapse does not work in WPF

  Visibility.Collapse doesnt work in my case. below is the XAML. If i try to hide the lblCountry and cmbCountry a white space is shown between zip and practice fields. • SynchronizationContext and Bookmarks in WF4

  I am running workflows under asp.net and using SynchronizationContext to make the page "wait" for the workflow. Here is how I run the workflow instance under asp.net: var workflowApplication = new WorkflowApplication(activity); SynchronizationContext syncContext = SynchronizationContext.Current; workflowApplication.Completed = delegate { syncContext.OperationCompleted(); }; workflowApplication.SynchronizationContext = syncContext; syncContext.OperationStarted(); workflowApplication.Run(); In one of the activities I use a bookmark. Now I want the page processing to continue whenever I call CreateBookmark. I tried calling SynchronizationContext.Current.OperationCompleted() before setting the bookmark but that crushes asp.net site when the workflow resumes and completes (I think the workflow instance calls OperationCompleted again when it completes and the error raises) How can I work with bookmarks under Asp.Net, any ideas?

• expanding/collapsing div using jQuery

  I'm trying to expand and collapse a <div> by clicking some text inside the <div>. The behavior right now is very odd. For example, if I click the text after the <div> is expanded... the <div> will collapse and then expand again. Also, if I click somewhere inside the div after it is expanded, it will collapse again, and I think that is because I'm triggering the animation since the <div> being animated is inside the wrapper <div>. • CSS layout with 2 columns, taking up all width of browser, where left column can collapse

  I want to have a 2 column layout, and have the left column able to be 200 px at first, and have a "shrink" button to shrink it down to 10px, and have the right column expand to fill all the rest of the available space. Then if they click on the "show" button (which will be all they see in the now 10px wide left column) have the left grow back to 200px and have the right column shrink by that amount. I can't figure out how to make the right column grown and shrink without knowing the exact width of the window. I hope this makes sense, and I really hope someone can point me in the right direction. Browser requirements are IE8, FF3.6, Safari, and Chrome, so in theory I can use some advanced CSS techniques. At least I don't have to support IE6.

  I'm using the masonry jquery plugin on a project: (http://desandro.com/resources/jquery-masonry) Basically I have a set of boxes (thumbnails) in a grid. When one is clicked, I want it to expand to a larger size to show more content (additional images and text). I'm struggling with how to make the thumbnail dissappear and then have new content appear in the expanded box. I don't know how to make the new content appear or where to store it on my page--and it needs to have a close button? The creator of the plugin gave me a quick tip for the expanding part, but the code I'm using has a set height and width and I want them to be variable depending on how much content is in the expanded state. Here's my jquery code so far: http://pastie.org/1002101 This is a similar example of the behaviour I want to achieve (except my boxes will have have varying expanded sizes): (http://www.learnsomethingeveryday.co.uk) You'll also notice from that example that it only allows 1 box to be expanded at a time--I would also like to have that functionality. • Problems with row height in table with expand /collapse in IE

  I have ten rows in my table. All the even rows are hidden by default. The odd rows have a 'plus' icon in the first cell. The plus to be clicked to see the next even row in the table. Clicking the icon again will hide the row again. I do this with simple jquery hide and show methods. The problem with this in IE is whenever I expand and a row and then close it, the border of the row which was expanded stays in the page itself and does not clear. This makes the pages look awkward in IE. I don't face this issue in FF. My friend here suspects this has something to do with the cell height. Im not sure if that is so. So please help me fix this. • [.net] Treeview prevent Node collapse (weird problem)

  Hey guyz! I have a .net 2.0 C# Project. I have a Treeview with 2 Nodes, each of them has many child nodes. When you click on a child node, a PDF is displayed in a webbrowser control depending on the properties of the node. Fine, but the problem is that when both Nodes are expanded, and I click on a child node, the other node gets collapsed! I don't have any code that collapses any node of the treeview, but somehow it happens! I also had a look at the BeforeCollapse Event, but somehow it doesn't fire, alltough the other node collapses! Can anyone imagine why this happens? I would be very grateful if anyone can teach me how to prevent this happening! Thank you very much!
