  • Where to find Oracle Training for BI & EPM Partners

    - by Mike.Hallett(at)Oracle-BI&EPM
    We run both “Live Virtual Training” (web-based classes) as well as “In Class Training” in most countries around Europe, Middle East and Africa. Some of these are subsidised for OPN partners, while others are available at a discount (usually 25%) to OPN partners via OU (Oracle University).  To see what is scheduled for in-depth hands-on implementation training for partners see:   Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus Implementation Boot Camp For example, these are some of the OBI11g Boot-camps we currently have scheduled: 11 - 15 June 2012 Bucharest, Romania 21 - 23 August 2012 Johannesburg, South Africa 24 - 28 September 2012 Utrecht, Netherlands Oracle Essbase Implementation Boot Camp Oracle GoldenGate Implementation Boot Camp Hyperion Planning Boot Camp   Hyperion Financial Management Boot Camp   Oracle Business Intelligence Applications for ERP Boot Camp     You can also selectively filter search for courses via the Partner Events Calendar @ http://events.oracle.com/search/search?group=Events&keyword=OPN+Only   Otherwise, it is worth checking the Oracle Partner Enablement BLOG for any BI / EPM news, especially the sub-Blogs on the right for each country.   There is also a monthly Partner Enablement Update (PDF) to find out the latest partner training on Oracle's new products and new releases.

Or shall I now say, Oracle Spatial and Graph, with our official name change this summer. There were so many exciting events and updates we had this year, and this blog will review and link to some of the events you may have missed over the year. We kicked off 2012 with our webinar: Situational Analysis at OnStar with Oracle Spatial and Graph. We collaborated with OnStar’s Emergency Strategy and Outreach expert, Jeff Joyner ,on how Onstar uses Google Earth Visualization, NAVTEQ data and Oracle Database to deliver fast, accurate emergency services to its customers. In the next webinar in our 2012 series, Oracle partner TARGUSinfo showcased how to build a robust, scalable and secure customer relationship management systems – with built-in mapping and spatial analysis, and deployed in the cloud. This is a very cool system using all Oracle technologies including Oracle Database and Fusion Middleware MapViewer. Attendees learned how to gather market insight, score prospects and customers and perform location analysis. The replay is available here. Our final webinar of the year focused on using Oracle Business Intelligence tools, along with Oracle Spatial and Graph to perform location-aware predictive analysis. Watch the webcast here: In June, we joined up with the Location Intelligence conference in Washington, DC, and had a very successful 2012 Oracle Spatial User Conference. Customers and partners from the US, as well as from EMEA and Asia, flew in to share experiences and ideas, and get technical updates from Oracle experts. Users were excited to hear about spatial-Exadata performance, and advances in MapViewer and BI. Peter Doolan of Oracle Public Sector kicked off the event with a great keynote, and US Census, NOAA, and Ordnance Survey Great Britain were just a few of the presenters. Presentation archive here. We recognized some of the most exceptional partners and customers for their contributions to advancing mainstream solutions using geospatial technologies. Planning for 2013’s conference has already started. Please contribute your papers for consideration here. http://www.locationintelligence.net/ We also launched a new Oracle PartnerNetwork Spatial Specialization – to enable partners to get validated in the marketplace for their expertise in taking solutions to market. Individuals can also get individual certifications. Learn more here. Oracle Open World was not to disappoint, with news regarding our next Oracle Spatial and Graph release, as well as the announcement of our new Oracle Spatial and Graph SIG board! Join the SIG today. One more exciting event as we look to 2013. Spatial and location technologies have a dedicated track at the January BIWA SIG Summit – on January 9-10 in Redwood Shores, CA. View the agenda and register here: www.biwasummit.org. We thank you for all your support during the year of 2012 and look towards an even more exciting 2013! Wishing you and your family a prosperous New Year and Happy Holidays!

  • Auth problem on Facebook using Ruby/sinatra/frankie/facebooker

    - by user84584
    Hello guys, I'm using sinatra/frankie/facebooker to prototype something simple to test the facebook api, i'm using mmangino-facebooker the more recent version from github and I cloned the most recent version of frankie. I'm using sinatra 0.9.6. My main code is as simple as possible: before do ensure_application_is_installed_by_facebook_user @user = session[:facebook_session].user @photos = session[:facebook_session].get_photos(nil,@user.uid,nil) end get "/" do erb :index end get "/:uid/:image" do |uid,image| @photo_selected = session[:facebook_session].get_photos([image.to_i],nil,nil) erb :selected end The index page just renders a link to the other one (identified by regex "/:uid/:image") however I always get an error when it's trying to render the one identified by regex "/:uid/:image" Facebooker::Session::MissingOrInvalidParameter: Invalid parameter /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/parser.rb:610:in `process' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/parser.rb:30:in `parse' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/service.rb:67:in `post' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/session.rb:600:in `post_without_logging' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/session.rb:611:in `post' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/logging.rb:20:in `log_fb_api' /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/benchmark.rb:308:in `realtime' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/logging.rb:20:in `log_fb_api' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/session.rb:610:in `post' /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/mmangino-facebooker-1.0.50/lib/facebooker/session.rb:198:in `secure!' ./config/frankie/lib/frankie.rb:66:in `secure_with_token!' ./config/frankie/lib/frankie.rb:44:in `set_facebook_session' ./config/frankie/lib/frankie.rb:164:in `ensure_authenticated_to_facebook' ./config/frankie/lib/frankie.rb:169:in `ensure_application_is_installed_by_facebook_user' I've no idea why, it seems to be related with the auth token I guess.. I logged the request made o the fb rest server: {:sig="4f244d1f510498f4efaae3c03d036a85", :generate_session_secret="0", :method="facebook.auth.getSession", :auth_token="9dae0d02c19c680b574c78d202b0582a", :api_key="70c14732815ace0ae71a561ea5eb38b7", :v="1.0"} {:call_id="1269003766.05665", :sig="194469457d1424dc8ba0678979692363", :method="facebook.photos.get", :subj_id=750401957, :session_key="2.lXL0z3s4_r573xzQwAiA9A__.3600.1269010800-750401957", :api_key="70c14732815ace0ae71a561ea5eb38b7", :v="1.0"} {:sig="4f244d1f510498f4efaae3c03d036a85", :generate_session_secret="0", :method="facebook.auth.getSession", :auth_token="9dae0d02c19c680b574c78d202b0582a", :api_key="70c14732815ace0ae71a561ea5eb38b7", :v="1.0"} The last one gives the error, it could be related with auth_token having the same value in the 1st and on the 3rd ? • How to encrypt Amazon CloudFront signature for private content access using canned policy

    - by Chet
    Has anyone using .net actually worked out how to successfully sign a signature to use with CloudFront private content? After a couple of days of attempts all I can get is Access Denied. I have been working with variations of the following code and also tried using OpenSSL.Net and AWSSDK but that does not have a sign method for RSA-SHA1 yet. The signature (data) looks like this {"Statement":[{"Resource":"http://xxxx.cloudfront.net/xxxx.jpg","Condition":?{"DateLessThan":?{"AWS:EpochTime":1266922799}}}]} This method attempts to sign the signature for use in the canned url. So of the variations have included chanding the padding used in the has and also reversing the byte[] before signing as apprently OpenSSL do it this way. public string Sign(string data) { using (SHA1Managed SHA1 = new SHA1Managed()) { RSACryptoServiceProvider provider = new RSACryptoServiceProvider(); RSACryptoServiceProvider.UseMachineKeyStore = false; // Amazon PEM converted to XML using OpenSslKey provider.FromXmlString("<RSAKeyValue><Modulus>....."); byte[] plainbytes = System.Text.Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(data); byte[] hash = SHA1.ComputeHash(plainbytes); //Array.Reverse(sig); // I have see some examples that reverse the hash byte[] sig = provider.SignHash(hash, "SHA1"); return Convert.ToBase64String(sig); } } Its useful to note that I have verified the content is setup correctly in S3 and CloudFront by generating a CloudFront canned policy url using my CloudBerry Explorer. How do they do it? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

  • Perl cron job stays running

    - by Dylan
    I'm currently using a cron job to have a Perl script that tells my Arduino to cycle my aquaponics system and all is well, except the Perl script doesn't die as intended. Here is my cron job: */15 * * * * /home/dburke/scripts/hal/bin/main.pl cycle And below is my Perl script: #!/usr/bin/perl -w # Sample Perl script to transmit number # to Arduino then listen for the Arduino # to echo it back use strict; use Device::SerialPort; use Switch; use Time::HiRes qw ( alarm ); $|++; # Set up the serial port # 19200, 81N on the USB ftdi driver my $device = '/dev/arduino0'; # Tomoc has to use a different tty for testing #$device = '/dev/ttyS0'; my $port = new Device::SerialPort ($device) or die('Unable to open connection to device');; $port->databits(8); $port->baudrate(19200); $port->parity("none"); $port->stopbits(1); my $lastChoice = ' '; my $pid = fork(); my $signalOut; my $args = shift(@ARGV); # Parent must wait for child to exit before exiting itself on CTRL+C $SIG{'INT'} = sub { waitpid($pid,0) if $pid != 0; exit(0); }; # What child process should do if($pid == 0) { # Poll to see if any data is coming in print "\nListening...\n\n"; while (1) { my $incmsg = $port->lookfor(9); # If we get data, then print it if ($incmsg) { print "\nFrom arduino: " . $incmsg . "\n\n"; } } } # What parent process should do else { if ($args eq "cycle") { my $stop = 0; sleep(1); $SIG{ALRM} = sub { print "Expecting plant bed to be full; please check.\n"; $signalOut = $port->write('2'); # Signal to set pin 3 low print "Sent cmd: 2\n"; $stop = 1; }; $signalOut = $port->write('1'); # Signal to arduino to set pin 3 High print "Sent cmd: 1\n"; print "Waiting for plant bed to fill...\n"; alarm (420); while ($stop == 0) { sleep(2); } die "Done."; } else { sleep(1); my $choice = ' '; print "Please pick an option you'd like to use:\n"; while(1) { print " [1] Cycle [2] Relay OFF [3] Relay ON [4] Config [$lastChoice]: "; chomp($choice = <STDIN>); switch ($choice) { case /1/ { $SIG{ALRM} = sub { print "Expecting plant bed to be full; please check.\n"; $signalOut = $port->write('2'); # Signal to set pin 3 low print "Sent cmd: 2\n"; }; $signalOut = $port->write('1'); # Signal to arduino to set pin 3 High print "Sent cmd: 1\n"; print "Waiting for plant bed to fill...\n"; alarm (420); $lastChoice = $choice; } case /2/ { $signalOut = $port->write('2'); # Signal to set pin 3 low print "Sent cmd: 2"; $lastChoice = $choice; } case /3/ { $signalOut = $port->write('1'); # Signal to arduino to set pin 3 High print "Sent cmd: 1"; $lastChoice = $choice; } case /4/ { print "There is no configuration available yet. Please stab the developer."; } else { print "Please select a valid option.\n\n"; } } } } } Why wouldn't it die from the statement die "Done.";? It runs fine from the command line and also interprets the 'cycle' argument fine. When it runs in cron it runs fine, however, the process never dies and while each process doesn't continue to cycle the system it does seem to be looping in some way due to the fact that it ups my system load very quickly. If you'd like more information, just ask. EDIT: I have changed to code to: #!/usr/bin/perl -w # Sample Perl script to transmit number # to Arduino then listen for the Arduino # to echo it back use strict; use Device::SerialPort; use Switch; use Time::HiRes qw ( alarm ); $|++; # Set up the serial port # 19200, 81N on the USB ftdi driver my $device = '/dev/arduino0'; # Tomoc has to use a different tty for testing #$device = '/dev/ttyS0'; my $port = new Device::SerialPort ($device) or die('Unable to open connection to device');; $port->databits(8); $port->baudrate(19200); $port->parity("none"); $port->stopbits(1); my $lastChoice = ' '; my $signalOut; my $args = shift(@ARGV); # Parent must wait for child to exit before exiting itself on CTRL+C if ($args eq "cycle") { open (LOG, '>>log.txt'); print LOG "Cycle started.\n"; my $stop = 0; sleep(2); $SIG{ALRM} = sub { print "Expecting plant bed to be full; please check.\n"; $signalOut = $port->write('2'); # Signal to set pin 3 low print "Sent cmd: 2\n"; $stop = 1; }; $signalOut = $port->write('1'); # Signal to arduino to set pin 3 High print "Sent cmd: 1\n"; print "Waiting for plant bed to fill...\n"; print LOG "Alarm is being set.\n"; alarm (420); print LOG "Alarm is set.\n"; while ($stop == 0) { print LOG "In while-sleep loop.\n"; sleep(2); } print LOG "The loop has been escaped.\n"; die "Done."; print LOG "No one should ever see this."; } else { my $pid = fork(); $SIG{'INT'} = sub { waitpid($pid,0) if $pid != 0; exit(0); }; # What child process should do if($pid == 0) { # Poll to see if any data is coming in print "\nListening...\n\n"; while (1) { my $incmsg = $port->lookfor(9); # If we get data, then print it if ($incmsg) { print "\nFrom arduino: " . $incmsg . "\n\n"; } } } # What parent process should do else { sleep(1); my $choice = ' '; print "Please pick an option you'd like to use:\n"; while(1) { print " [1] Cycle [2] Relay OFF [3] Relay ON [4] Config [$lastChoice]: "; chomp($choice = <STDIN>); switch ($choice) { case /1/ { $SIG{ALRM} = sub { print "Expecting plant bed to be full; please check.\n"; $signalOut = $port->write('2'); # Signal to set pin 3 low print "Sent cmd: 2\n"; }; $signalOut = $port->write('1'); # Signal to arduino to set pin 3 High print "Sent cmd: 1\n"; print "Waiting for plant bed to fill...\n"; alarm (420); $lastChoice = $choice; } case /2/ { $signalOut = $port->write('2'); # Signal to set pin 3 low print "Sent cmd: 2"; $lastChoice = $choice; } case /3/ { $signalOut = $port->write('1'); # Signal to arduino to set pin 3 High print "Sent cmd: 1"; $lastChoice = $choice; } case /4/ { print "There is no configuration available yet. • Prob comparing pointers and integer in C

    - by Dimitri
    Hi I have a problem with this code. When i am using this function I have no warnings. : void handler(int sig){ switch(sig) { case SIGINT : { click++; fprintf(stdout,"SIGINT recu\n"); if( click == N){ exit(0); } } case SIGALRM : fprintf(stdout,"SIGALRM received\n"); exit(0); case SIGTERM: fprintf(stdout,"SIGTERM received\n"); exit(0); } } But when i rewrite the function with this new version, I have a " comparison between pointer and integer" warning on the if statement: void handler( int sig){ printf("Signal recu\n"); if( signal == SIGINT){ click++; fprintf(stdout,"SIGINT received; Click = %d\n",click); if(click == N){ fprintf(stdout,"Exiting with SIGINT\n"); exit(0); } } else if(signal == SIGALRM){ fprintf(stdout,"SIGALRM received\n"); exit(0); } else if(signal == SIGTERM){ fprintf(stdout,"SIGTERM received\n"); exit(0); } Can someone tell me where is the prob?

  • Restoring android after ubuntu touch fails

    - by deimus
    I'm trying to restore android after playing around with ubuntu touch I follow exactly the same steps described the ubuntu's wiki page i.e. Download the factory image corresponding to your device's model and version (initial table has links). Ensure the device is connected and powered on. Extract the downloaded file and cd into the extracted directory. run adb reboot-bootloader run ./flash-all.sh (use sudo if lack of permissions on the workstation don't allow you to talk to the device). The archive is downloaded successfully, checked the sha1 checksum everything is ok. But the ./flash-all.sh fails like this sending 'bootloader' (2308 KB)... OKAY [ 0.513s] writing 'bootloader'... • sqlplus: Running "set lines" and "set pagesize" automatially

    - by katsumii
    This is a followup to my previous entry. Using the full tty real estate with sqlplus (INOUE Katsumi @ Tokyo) 'rlwrap' is widely used for adding 'sqlplus' the history function and command line editing. Here's another but again kludgy implementation. First this is the alias. alias sqlplus="rlwrap -z ~/sqlplus.filter sqlplus" And this is the file content. #!/usr/bin/env perl use lib ($ENV{RLWRAP_FILTERDIR} or "."); use RlwrapFilter; use POSIX qw(:signal_h); use strict; my $filter = new RlwrapFilter; $filter -> prompt_handler(\&prompt); sigprocmask(SIG_UNBLOCK, POSIX::SigSet->new(28)); $SIG{WINCH} = 'winchHandler'; $filter -> run; sub winchHandler { $filter -> input_handler(\&input); sigprocmask(SIG_UNBLOCK, POSIX::SigSet->new(28)); $SIG{WINCH} = 'winchHandler'; $filter -> run; } sub input { $filter -> input_handler(undef); return `resize |sed -n "1s/COLUMNS=/set linesize /p;2s/LINES=/set pagesize /p"` . $_; } sub prompt { if ($_ =~ "SQL> ") { $filter -> input_handler(\&input); $filter -> prompt_handler(undef); } return $_; } I hope I can compare these 2 implementations after testing more and getting some feedbacks.

  • Product Development Investment: A Measure of Vendor Performance

    - by Jim Mcglothlin
    The relationship between a large, complex organization and its key suppliers of information technology is normally more than just "strategic". Expectations about the duration of the relationship typically exceed 20 years. Enterprise applications and technology infrastructure are not expected to be changed out like petunias. So how would you rate the due diligence processes as performed in Higher Education when selecting critical, transformational information technology? My observation: I see a lot of effort put into elaborate demonstration of basic software functionality. I see a lot of attention paid to the cost element of technology acquisition, including the contracted cost of implementation consulting services. But the factor that receives only cursory analysis and due diligence is long-term performance--the ability of a vendor to grow, expand, and develop, and bring its customers along with it. So what should you look for in a long-term IT supplier? Oracle has a public track record for product development. The annual investment has been on a run rate of almost $3 Billion organic product development. Oracle's well-publicized acquisitions and mergers have been supplemental to its R&D. This is important for Higher Education. Another meaningful way to evaluate a company is to look at the tangible track record of enhancement. Consider the Oracle-PeopleSoft enterprise business platform since acquired by Oracle 6 years ago: Product or Technology Enhancement Customer or User Impact Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 300+ new web services delivered in versions 9.0 & 9.1 provide flexibility, so that customers can integrate PeopleSoft with other applications. Campus Solutions has added Admissions and Constituent Web Services. Constituent Relationship Management PeopleSoft CRM 9.1 for Higher Education introduced new process flows for student recruiting and retention to support "Student Success" initiatives. A 360 view of the constituent is now delivered, and the concept of a single-stop Student Services Center is now in CRM 9.1 with tight integration to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Human Capital Management Contract Pay for Education, with flexibility for configuration and calculation, has been extended in HCM 9.1. New chartfield integration among Project Costing - Time & Labor - Payroll to serve the labor distribution requirements for Grants / Sponsored Research. Talent Management PeopleSoft 9.0 and 9.1 feature an integrated talent management approach centered on definitions in "Profile Manager", with all new usability improvements. Internal and external candidate pools, and the entire recruitment process, are driven by delivered configurable selection and on-boarding processes. Interview scheduling, and online job offers are newly delivered processes. Performance Management PeopleSoft HCM ePerformance 9.1 will include significant new functionality designed to help organizations more effectively align business objectives with employee goals. Using an Organization Chart view, your business goals can flow down to become tangible objectives per employee. Succession Planning / Workforce Development New in HCM 9.0, enhanced in 9.1, is a planning capability for regular or unusual (major organizational change) succession of internal or external candidates. PeopleSoft supports employee-based career planning, which ultimately increases the integrity of the succession planning process (identify their career needs, plans, preferences, and interests). Dashboards / Oracle Business Intelligence Application Suite Oracle Human Resources Analytics provides the workforce information foundation that integrates data from HR functional areas and Finance. Oracle Human Resources Analytics delivers 9 dashboards and over 200 reports. Provide your HR professionals and front-line managers the tools to analyze workforce staffing, retention, productivity, to better source high-quality applicants, and to reduce absence costs. Multi-year Planning and Commitment Control External funding sources, especially Grants, require a multi-year encumbrance business process. PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 adds multi-year funding and commitment control, including budget checking. The newly designed Real Time Budget Checking will provide the customer with an updated snapshot of their budget and encumbrances at any given time. Position Budgeting with Hyperion Hyperion Planning world-class products now include delivered integration to PeopleSoft HCM. Position Budgeting is available in the new Public Sector Planning module of Hyperion. Web 2.0 features for the latest in usability PeopleSoft 9.1 features a contemporary internet user experience: Partial-page refreshing Drag and drop pagelets New menu structure Navigation pagelets Modal popup message windows Favorites & recently used links Type-ahead Drag and drop grid columns, pop-out grids Portal Workspaces Enterprise 2.0 for your collaborative web communities, using new content management, along with Wikis, blogs, and discussion forums in PeopleSoft Portal 9.1. PeopleTools enhanced by Oracle Fusion Middleware Standards-based tools have been added to the PeopleTools application infrastructure: BI (XML) Publisher, Java tools. Certified for use with PeopleSoft: Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Weblogic Server, Oracle SOA Suite. Hosting for PeopleSoft applications A solid new deployment option: Oracle On Demand remote hosting center for high scalability, security, and continuity of operations. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) for HCM / Payroll functions Partnership with AT&T provides hosting of HR/Payroll application along with payroll business process operations, and subscription-based service fees (SaaS). AT&T BPO full service includes pay sheet processing, bank and 3rd party file transfer, payroll tax handling, etc. Continuous Delivery Model Feature Packs provide faster time-to-benefit; new features become available in PeopleSoft 9.1 (or Campus Solutions 9.0) without need to perform upgrade. Golden person data model across all campus applications Oracle Higher Education Constituent Hub provides synchronization and data governance of person data across any application, e.g. HR/ Payroll, Student Information System, Housing, Emergency Contact, LMS, CRM. Oracle's aggressive enhancement plans within the "Applications Unlimited" program continue, as new functionality is under development for a new version of a PeopleSoft release planned for 2012. Meanwhile, new capabilities are planned on an annual basis in Feature Packs. PeopleSoft just delivered the HCM 2010 Feature Pack and another is planned for 2011. In February we plan to have over 100 customers from our Customer Advisory Boards at our PeopleSoft Development Center in California to review designs for all of these releases. For those of you near New York City The investment and progressive development story described above is the subject of an Oracle road show event on February 9, 2011. Charting Your Course with Oracle Applications is a global event series designed to help business and IT executives assess the impact of new inflection points on their business and applications roadmap: changing workforces, shifting customer and constituent bases, and increased volatility. • Enterprise MDM: Rationalizing Reference Data in a Fast Changing Environment

    - by Mala Narasimharajan
    By Rahul Kamath Enterprises must move at a rapid pace to establish and retain global market leadership by continuously focusing on operational efficiency, customer intimacy and relentless execution. Reference Data Management    As multi-national companies with a presence in multiple industry categories, market segments, and geographies, their ability to proactively manage changes and harness them to align their front office with back-office operations and performance management initiatives is critical to make the proverbial elephant dance. Managing reference data including types and codes, business taxonomies, complex relationships as well as mappings represent a key component of the broader agenda for enabling flexibility and agility, without sacrificing enterprise-level consistency, regulatory compliance and control. Financial Transformation  Periodically, companies find that processes implemented a decade or more ago no longer mirror the way of doing business and seek to proactively transform how they operate their business and underlying processes. Financial transformation often begins with the redesign of one’s chart of accounts. The ability to model and redesign one’s chart of accounts collaboratively, quickly validate against historical transaction bases and secure business buy-in across multiple line of business stakeholders, while continuing to manage changes within the legacy general ledger systems and downstream analytical applications while piloting the in-flight transformation can mean the difference between controlled success and project failure. Attend the session titled CON8275 - Oracle Hyperion Data Relationship Management: Enabling Enterprise Transformation at Oracle Openworld on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 4:45pm in Ballroom A of the InterContinental Hotel to learn how Oracle’s Data Relationship Management solution can help you stay ahead of the competition and proactively harness master (and reference) data changes to transform your enterprise. Also, learn how Old Mutual SA has upgraded to EBS R12 Financials and is transforming the management of chart of accounts for corporate reporting. Separately, an esteemed panel of DRM customers including Cisco Systems, Nationwide Insurance, Ralcorp Holdings and Mentor Graphics will discuss their perspectives on how DRM has helped them address business challenges associated with enterprise MDM including major change management initiatives including financial transformations, corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and the rationalization of financial and analytical master reference data to support alternate business perspectives for the alignment of EPM/BI initiatives. Attend the session titled CON9377 - Customer Showcase: Success with Oracle Hyperion Data Relationship Management at Openworld on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 12:45pm in Ballroom of the InterContinental Hotel to interact with our esteemed speakers first hand.
