    In my MySQL table Winners, I have a list of people who have won. What I'd like to do is select a list of the names of 10 winners. So what I have right now is this: SELECT name FROM Winners ORDER BY points DESC LIMIT 10 This returns the first 10 winners which is great. But how can I make it (for example) return 10 winners, but starting at 20th place?

    I am creating itinerary planner like http://www.plnnr.com I want to create Google Place marker by direction(North,East,west,south) for e.g. When people select 4 day it should show attraction for 1st day all north location 2nd day east location then south and west. How to i do the auto marker. I am not sure how plnnr.com works how they are generating the lines based on direction. Please anyone help me on this.

  • SSH is looking in the wrong place for the public/private key pair on Windows

    I'm trying to configure GIT on my Windows XP machine, but SSH keeps creating and looking for the public/private key pair in non-sensical places, e.g. /.ssh/id_rsa Is there a configuration file in the GIT Installation for Windows where I can switch this to my home directory, or another user defined place? By default, it offers to create new key pairs at //.ssh/id_rsa but that gives me the error "Could not create directory '//.ssh'." And when I'm able to find a directory I can create it in, GIT won't look there.

    I'm using Apache Commons Logging and SLF4J with log4j, but I also want to use the log4j.properties in a custom place like conf/log4.properties. Here is the problem: If i use PropertyConfigurator.configure("conf/log4j.properties"); then my app is tied to log4j and defets the purpose of having ACL and SLF4J. What is the best way to configure it withouth the app ever knowing what the logging implementation is?

  • Google Map + MarkerClusterer only takes place when map completely zooms out

    The clustering works but somehow it only takes place at the maximum zoom out(the largest view with all nations), the moment I zoom in by 1 value, the clustering icon changes back to markers. I try with all kinds of values on the maxZoom and gridSize clusterer options with no help. Can someone please kindly advice. In this case, the address that appears in the address bar is in the following format: my_page_address#my_id Is this the only method to refer to a specific place on a page ? I'm looking for a method that will not show my_id in the address bar.

    Getting started with ImageMagic and trying to find a way to do this... If an image is less than 50 pixels tall or 50 pixels wide, I'd like to place it (un-scaled) in the horizontal/vertical center of a new 50x50 pixel canvas on top of a white background - and save that as the new image. Is it in the root (ie "src") or within a package...   • Looking for Eclipse plugin: Lock source tabs in place

    When working with java code in Eclipse I can typically juggle between 20-40 different files, but there usually are just two that I actively work with at the time (test and code). Going back to the code where I want to work after having debugged through 5-10 classes can be a pain. So what I would like to do is to be able to right click on the tab of a class and choose to lock them in place. The classes would then always be available as the first and second tabs furthest to the left in the editor. All other classes (and other files opened in the editor) would then fight over the remaining space in the editor like today. Is there a plugin like this? My google-fu might not be strong enough, cause I find nothing.
