  Hi I have a serious issue. I am using excel object for opening the excel file it works fine i my PC. when i make application as a website and running the page and uploading it gives the error "'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Work\SABRE MSO Mapping Request Template.xlsx' could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved, or deleted. ". I think it taking server path...but i want to open client excel file before saving the file to the server. Plz help.

  I have homework where I am to update a list using a function that takes two elements and returns a value of part of the first element given in the function. So it's required to update the entire listing by going through each element and update its value by applying the function against all other elements in the list (including itself). So far I've been trying to firstly map the list (so that each element is done the same) and then specifically update each elements value by mapping again just the value of the specified element however in trying to map just the specific value through: the function, the specific element and the entire list I keep getting complaints that I'm inferring the list of values made from the 'map function p@list list' rather than simply giving the value at p@list. Is this the correct method to try to update a list against the entire list itself? EDIT: spelling mistakes and grammar

• WPF TextBox Custom Dictionary Support

  Has anyone found a workaround yet for getting custom dictionary support working for the built in spellchecking on WPF TextBoxes/RichTextBoxes? We've been probing the spelling stuff with reflector hoping to find where the dictionary entries are coming from, but it's looking very much like it's going to be a COM object.... I know it's not currently supported and that Microsoft were looking into supporting it in a future release, but that was quite a while ago and I can't seem to find any recent news about it.   I want to redirect all url errors The url I want to cath is ~/bla/foo It should redirect to ~/error404.aspx bla exists as a folder. foo does not exist. I already set the webconfig to point to my error but I just doesn't work. I get this error: Server Error in application /. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ The source can not be found. Description: HTTP 404. Perhaps you are looking for the source (or a dependency thereof) removed or is temporarily unavailable or has changed its name. Check the spelling of the URL. • Compare GetNextInsertionPosition and GetNextContextPosition in WPF

  As I enter a character in my RichTextBox, I want to get the next character from the its TextRange. So here is how I do it: TextPointer ptr1= RichTextBox.CaretPosition; char nextChar = GetNextChar(); while (char.IsWhiteSpace(nextChar)) { ptr1= ptr1.GetNextInsertionPosition(LogicalDirection.Forward); nextChar = GetCharacterAt(Ptr1); } then I get the ptr1 of the next character and from the TextPointer, I get the TextRange, and do my changes. So here is the problem? when the next word is spelled correctly, I have no problem, but if it's not spelled properly then ptr1 would not point to the first character of the next word (the second character), and if I use GetNextContextPosition(LogicalDirection.Forward) it would give me the first letter of the next word if it's misspelled. So depending on the spelling only one of them works? I was just wondering if you have any idea about this problem? Is there anything wrong I am doing here?

Ideally it will span the entire length of the browser window and probably extend outside the field of view to support larger screens and also be centered so that the angle does not change. Anyone have any solutions? Also I think I might run into a problem of the angle aliasing harshly. I might need to resort to using an image. Would like to use CSS though. ** Image Spelling Error. • Do I correctly understand what a class is?

  I've had trouble finding a clear, concise laymans definition of a class. Usually, they give general ideas without specifically spelling it out, and I'm wondering if I'm understanding this correctly. As I understand it, a class is the set of code that controls an object. For example, in an app that has a button for 'Yes' and a button for 'No', and a text box for output, the code that tells the computer what to do when the user uses the Yes button is one class, the code for hitting No is another class, and an object is the two buttons and what they do together to influence the output box. Am I right, or am I confusing terms here? Thanks

• ASP.NET control event handler not firing on postback?

  I have a control which has an ImageButton which is tied to an OnClick event... Upon clicking this control, a postback is performed and the event handler is not called. AutoEventWireup is set to true, and I've double checked spelling etc.... We haven't touched this control in over a year and it has been working fine until a couple of weeks ago. We have made changes to controls which load this control... so I'm wondering, what kind of changes could we have made to stop this event handler from being called? There is quite a bit of Javascript going on, so this could be the culprit too... Edit: Some clarification... we are dynamically loading the parent control of the ImageButton in the OnLoad event of the page... if that makes sense.

• English dictionary as txt or xml file with support of synonyms

  Can someone point me to where I can download English dictionary as a txt or xml file. I am building a simple app for myself and looking for something what I could start using immediately without learning complex API. Support for synonyms would be great, that is it should be easier to retrieve all the synonyms for particular word. It would be absolutely fantastic if dictionary would be listing British and American spelling of the words where they are differ. Even if it would be small dictionary (few 000's words) that's ok, I only need it for small project. I even would be willing to buy one if the price is reasonable, and dictionary is easy to use - simple xml wold be great. Any directions please.

  Hi all, first post here, I come in peace :) I've searched but can't quite find what I'm after. I am trying to manipulate the selected option of a select box. Can someone please explain why this works: $('#some_select_box').click(function() { $('#some_select_box option:selected').remove(); }); but this doesn't: $('#some_select_box').click(function() { $('this option:selected').remove(); }); I just want to use "this" instead of spelling out the id of the select box - can someone point me in the right direction for the correct syntax? It's driving me mad because it looks like it should be really simple. And I'm sure it is to someone, but not me, cos its the end of the day and I'm brain-fried... Any pointers much appreciated. • Data truncation when retrieving data from MySQL database with prepared statements

  I have a script that retrieves multiple products using prepared statements. Like putting loops into loops, I have prepared statements in prepared statements - so there is a prepared statement for retrieving all products, a prepared statement to retrieve all images for that product, a prepared statement to get all attributes for that products, and so on. This does not work with one MySQLi instance, so I use multiple MySQLi objects that are opened and closed when needed. It usually works fine, but sometimes, especially when displaying multiple products, some data is truncated. For example - MicoLoans becomes MicoLoa. There was an actual spelling mistake here - now when I changed MicoLoans to MicroLoans, the same page displayed MicroLoa... So the same number of characters was truncated from the end. It is sort of consistent where it appears - for example there can be descriptions for 8 products, and description of 1 product is heavily truncated. When I add 9th product, the short description is still truncated for that same product as before. Any ideas?

• Why not speed up testing by using function dependency graph?

  It seems logical to me that if you have a dependency graph of your source code (tree showing call stack of all functions in your code base) you should be able to save a tremendous amount of time doing functional and integration tests after each release. Essentially you will be able to tell the testers exactly what functionality to test as the rest of the features remain unchanged from a source code point of view. If for instance you change a spelling mistake in once piece of the code, there is no reason to run through your whole test script again "just in case" you introduced a critical bug. My question, why are dependency trees not used in software engineering and if you use them, how do you maintain them? What tools are available that generate these trees for C# .NET, C++ and C source code?

• Bookmarkabale ajax calls with MVC routing

  I have a page with a menu that uses JQuery AJAX calls to populate the page with. To reflect any changes I update the URL with a #... instead of ?... or /... So an URL that originally reads : htpp://localhost/pages/index/id=1 would look like : http://localhost/#pages/index/id=1. If a user bookmarks this, and later comes back to the page, I wonder if it's possible to use the second URL in my route decoding, or if I have to load it blank, then use the same JS/Ajax to populate the page? In my mind it is problematic to use Ajax in these cases if a user copies the link and mails it to a friend with JavaScript disabled. edit#1: Fixed some spelling.

• sfConfig::get is not returning constants defined in app.yml

  I have an interesting problem. I am using Symfony 1.3.2. I have defined some constants in project/apps/frontend/config/app.yml and project/config/app.yml When I use the constant (correct spelling) in a piece of code like this $test=sfConfig::get('app_foobar'); the variable $test is assigned a null value. This is what I have checked so far: CHECK: cache files generated? (YES) CHECK: Do the cache files (config_app.yml.php) in the cache directory contain the constants defined in the app.yml file (YES) CHECK: Constant names used in the code matches the array keys found in config_app.yml? (YES) At this stage, I have run out of ideas. I dont want to supply a default value as a hack, because when I need to change the value of the constant, I will have to replace this in potentially hundreds of instances (too error prone). Is there anything that I have missed?. What could be causing this?

A forgiving command interpreter would be a command interpreter which can deal with simple and even not so simple spelling and word order mistakes in the input. • iPhone CoreData Migration and modifying data

  I have an app that has both static data and user entered data in the CoreData store. I understand how to do a lightweight migration to a new database version, but how to I add or modify the static data without affecting the users data? If I have 50 static data entries to add and a couple to modify (ie. spelling mistakes) should they be stored in a different sqlite db and copied over? Also, is it possible to look at the version of the data store so that this copy only happens the first time the app is started up after upgrading?   Hi I am trying to find rows that are not in one table and insert them into another. The table I am trying to insert into has less columns then the other one. These columns are null but it would be cool if I could hardcode a value before I do the insert. But I am having so much trouble with just trying to get it to insert. I have something like this SELECT p.ProductId, p.ProductName INTO SomeTable FROM Product as p WHERE p.ProductName != 'iPad' I will get a error like this though Msg 4104, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 The multi-part identifier "p.ProductId" could not be bound. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I copied and pasted the names in so I don't think it is a spelling mistake. I am using ms sql 2005 express.

• How to change word recognition in vim spell?

  I like that vim 7.0 supports spell checking via :set spell, and I like that it by default only checks comments and text strings in my C code. But I wanted to find a way to change the behavior so that vim will know that when I write words containing underscores, I don't want that word spell checked. The problem is that I often will refer to variable or function names in my comments, and so right now vim thinks that each piece of text that isn't a complete correct word is a spelling error. Eg. /* The variable proj_abc_ptr is used in function do_func_stuff' */ Most of the time, the pieces seperated by underscores are complete words, but other times they are abbreviations that I would prefer not to add to a word list. Is there any global way to tell vim to include _'s as part of the word when spell checking?
