    I saw this question and just had to ask. How can I do this on my own PC, where do I find this software if it exists for your computer and what can I do? I never considered overclocking before because I know myself and I know I'd mess up my hardware in some stupid accident or mistake, but if I can just do it through software it'd be nice to give it a shot. It's an Inspiron 1520 laptop, and I'd be happy to provide any other information you need to assist me in this.

  • Cisco ASA 5505 VPN setup

    Hello, I'm trying to setup a site to site VPN, with a Cisco ASA 5505 at one end. The documentation tells me to use the Ipsec VPN wizard but under the wizards drop down menu there's nothing VPN related there. I have a 'base' license, is that the issue? or am I being stupid? The versions I have are: Cisco Asa 5505 with ASA 8.2(1) and ASDM 6.2(1), the firewall was already setup when I got it (I'm leasing a dedicated server). Thanks for your help

  • 403 on localhost with WAMP and windows 7

    Hi, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm new to web development and I'm trying to set up a local server using WAMP. My problem is when I try to access localhost or localhost/index.php I get a 403 error. I can access http://localhost/myphpadmin so I think this is a permissions issue but I have full access (or so I think) over the folder. Thanks

  • Java update "Failed to download required installation files."

    On my Windows 7 machine the Java update consistently fails with this error message. This seems to a common problem, does anyone have an insight into what's going wrong, and is there a fix for it other than either disabling the update check (seems a bad idea from a security point of view) or waiting for the nag message and then manually installing the new version (annoying and stupid from a usability point of view). Note that I did install the previous version manually (updating from 6.23 to 6.30 I think?), thinking that might resolve the issue, but no luck.

  • Firefox appending .xls extension to .xlsx files

    We are serving files with the .xlsx (excel 2007/2010) extension. IE, Chrome, Safari all download the file and open excel just fine. Firefox is being stupid. For some reason it's appending .xls to the extension. I found this: https://support.mozilla.com/bs/questions/758363 However, the instructions weren't very specific and completely unclear to me. How can I reconnect to a disconnected NX session? I can see sessions in NX Session Administrator, but there is no way to reconnect to them. The NX Client seems to ignore any existing sessions and create new ones.

  • How to force iscsi initiator to login only once

    Trying to setup a few CentOS nodes to connect to a Dell MD3600i array, i'm running into the issue that the MD3600i shows 4 different portals (with different IP addresses) and when i launch the initiator on host side well, it connects to every IP address it has seen during the discovery phase; resulting in duplicates. How can I 'force' the initiator to discard every other IP and let me choose only one IP portal to connect to ? Must be damn stupid but I can't figure out how. Thx

  • How to prevent windows from being resized?

    Adobe Audition is really stupid in that when you change the size of the window, and then change it back to the original size, all the frame positions are lost and you have to tediously reposition them by hand. I'd like to make it completely impossible to ever resize the window, just keep it maximized at all times. If I accidentally click "Restore" or drag the title bar, it should either ignore it, or move around the screen while staying the same size. Is there any way to do this?

Is there a command or a utility that will allow me to kill a process and all its child processes at the same time?     I didn't do anything stupid like run random .exe or visit questionable websites, but as I was just Googling I get infected by Antimalware Doctor. At that point I just shutdown my computer and reformatted, so I didn't check if I had the latest version of Flash or Firefox. Is it possible to get infected just because I didn't have my Flash newer than 10.1 and some random flash ad infected me?     On MacOS (10.8.5 if that matters) I'm trying to disable off ipv6 via networksetup -setv6off Wi-Fi. Nevertheless, when I'm trying to wget a specific files URL resolves to ipv6 address and download fails. I just wonder what I am missing in order not to feel as stupid as I currently feel. ifconfig shows that some of interfaces have inet6 enabled, but I just don't know whether this is relevant at all. networksetup -listallnetworkservices does not show anything extraordinary I've forgot about.

    72 ppi is nothing. And we have been stuck with this for 20 years. Why do we need to resort to stupid tech like anti-aliasing instead of resolving the core of the issue, more pixels per inch!!! It is really surprising considering all the progress cpu's, video cards, etc. have made.
