The only way you can update the archive content or its description is by deleting the archive and uploading another archive. That would lead me to think that it's not possible, but I'm not sure whether the file name is considered part of the archive description.

    We're trying to enable the openX Market plugin on openX 2.8.9. Enabling the plugin results in an "Allowed memory exceeded" error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 201326592 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 76 bytes) in /home/openx/lib/pear/PEAR.php on line 868 no matter what we have our php memory_limit set to. It even exceeded 512MB. We're running RHEL 5.6 and PEAR 1.9.4 Has anybody else come across this problem?

    I'm trying to measure would it be better to have prefork or worker mpm apache module for the server I'm working on, which is Amazon X-Large 15 GB memory 8 EC2 Compute Units (4 virtual cores with 2 EC2 Compute Units each) and that will run a Magento website with about 50 active users at once. Site serves a lot of images and about 45 requests per page. Images sometimes hang, so it seems worker would be a better option? Thanks

While listening to Deacon Blues by Steely Dan and skimming the news, I just came across an interesting article on mobile payments. Remember when I wrote about the iPhone Bump application and its possible use in retail? Well it looks like PayPal updated their mobile payments application to include the bump technology. Now its possible to transfer money between individuals by bumping iPhones. According to the WSJ, Paypal did 24 million transactions in 2008 and 140 million in 2009 on mobile phones. As the technology gets easier to use, that number is bound to increase. Alternatives to Paypal include Google Checkout, Amazon Payments, wireless carriers ("put it on my phone bill"), smart cards (using your phone's SIM card), and iTunes. That last one comes courtesy of a story Joe Skorupa wrote on mobile payments. It looks like Apple allows iPhone apps to take micro-payments via iTunes accounts, so there may come a time when its possible to use your iPhone to make a purchase in a retail store and have your credit card charged via your iTunes account. There are still some improvements in usability to be made before using a phone will be easier than swiping a credit card, but its already better than fussing with cash.

    I'm on an EC2 instance and have a domain domain.com linked to the EC2 nameservers and it happily is serving my pages if I type domain.com in the URL. However when the page is served it resolves the url to: 1.1.1.10/directory/page.php.   • How to spread XML Sitemaps over several webservers behind AWS loadbalancer?

    We have a web portal with almost a million products and way more other urls. I wrote a script that checks database. If there is a new url needed or an old one update, this script will update/create the XML Sitemaps. But we have several servers behind the load balancer at our rented AWS space. Further this script checks database for each url if there was an update so that it updates the appropriate xml file too. My question is how to spread those XML Sitemaps over all webservers behind this AWS load balancer? Our approaches/ideas: we could just generate them on one server with a cron job and copy them to the other servers, but this could be difficult because of automatic raising numbers of servers and so on. we put them on our S3 - but this one is not avaible thru our domain, so I guess google will have a problem with it I let my script run on every webserver but change it in a way that it will generate each time all xml files if they do not exist. But then I would have conflicts with updated URLs in my database, where I saved timestamp of last changed value of every url Is there another - better - solution that I do not know? Are there any special services by amazon for such cases?

    I have this sam e question on StackOverflow and I was advised to ask it here hoping for more information. Here is the question: I am in rather unfavorable situation. I have aspdotneststore front e-commerce application and search addon called VibeTrib. I dont have source code for both of those. Store that runs on StoreFront and VibeTrib has close to 250k products. Also we have lots of filters. I spoke to ViTrib reps, and they want extra money so they could optimize Queries that they use. Money they require is nto a big deal, but the problem is I dont trust them anymore. What we got is much different then wha is being advertised. To cut the long story short. I am runing the store on Amazon AWS now, and regardless of what DB (MsSQL 2012) server I set (I tried 32GB RAM monsters instances) it is slow. Ajax search uses Full Text search and it displays search keywords relatively fast, but once the search is performed ( to display all results) it is still slow.!!! There is something that I could to do accelerate the speed on my own end? I do have full control over EC2 Instance (Web server Server 2012 and IIS 8). Can I set IIS to step in for the search and cache some of it? I was hoping to cache at least some most common words. My best bet is IIS 8 :) Is there any help in my case? Thanks

Everything that i found so far are people who explain how to generate VO classes on flex side using Flash Builder 4, but this solution can not be used in an industrial developpement environnement.   • How Do I Detect A WordPress Admin Panel in my Plugin?

    I've got two events in my plugin. One is run for the front-end. The other is run for the admin panel. Both call the same function in one particular situation, and this echoes stuff to the screen. How do I make it such that the function is smart, calls something in WordPress, and detects whether it's being loaded in the front-end versus the admin panel? I don't want it to echo stuff to the screen on the front-end, but do want it to do so on the admin panel. Right now, it's echoing on both, which is not what I want. Background For the front end (the side of the site that the visitor sees), I'm intercepting the 'wp' event and checking for: ( is_single() || is_page() || is_home() || is_archive() || is_category() || is_tag()) For the admin panel, I'm intercepting the 'admin_menu' event. I tried intercepting the is_*() stuff above, but it seems to somehow answer TRUE or something, not giving me a difference between front-end and admin panel.

    I am in the process of creating an internet radio station, but the two djs I have for it are not able to be in one place. I need for them to be able to login to a web based broadcasting session that still has full functionality. They need to be able to broadcast thier live shows with talk and music. The music will be stroed on the server. I have checked out the Broadwave media streaming server from NCH, but ti does not have the ability to login as a dj from a remote computer. I don't have any money for this, so I need it to be free. If this is not possible, I need it to be cheap!

    There is a very useful "Clips" feature in Coda, do we have such thing in Eclipse? What it does is pretty simple, you save once a code clip which you use very often and assign it a shortcut and when you want to re-use it on editor you type the shortcut you assigned and it automatically pastes that code clip and sets caret position to the defined position. On the example here (second image) when i write 4dom and press TAB afterwards it types me this... jQuery(function($){ //puts cursor here }); Since it is a very useful feature i miss that one on Eclipse, is there a plugin for this?     During some recent refactoring we changed how our user avatars are stored not realizing that once deployed it would affect all the existing users. I think it's as good as it can get -- best issue tracker out there with all enterprise features, for the cost of a few coffees. I have bought it for my current group out of my own pocket (to avoid bureaucracy).
