Does the server side application usually print a complete XML file to be parsed each time there is new data? I have a CGI application in C and it includes the SQLite API.   Does anyone know if Google's CDN for jQuery is available in China? http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlibs/ I might have a project where I'll need to support localization a variety of countries, including mainland China, and want to know if I'll need to find alternatives such as: http://www.asp.net/ajax/CDN/ Which is okay, but my understanding is that the Microsoft CDN doesn't support jQuery UI. When I create a new AIR app in CS5 pro it says "AIR 2" but when I create a new AIR project in Flash Builder I do not see anything indicating that it is AIR 2 or 1.5?   Hi, I have a small C++ dll which was written in Visual Studio (of course). In the solution code, I have a resource file that includes only version information. The strange dact is, that when I frag the compiled dll to Visual Studio, it opens a resource viewer with bitmaps, dialogs and a string table - where do all of them come from??   How do I remove strings from / obfuscate a compiled binary? The goal is to avoid having people read the names of the functions/methods inside. It is a dynamic library (.so) compiled from C++ code for Android with the NDK tools (includes GCC) I compile with -O3 and already use arm-eabi-gcc -g mylib.so to remove debugging symbols, but when I do strings mylib.so all the names of the functions/methods are still readable.

  I'm running a big application and a small part of it includes Java 3D, the problem is many users need to use the code, but it isn't practical for everyone to install Java 3D just to run the application if they aren't even going to use that section of the application.   .NET 4 includes new concurrent data structures. The Bag and Dictionary collections have obvious applications but I cannot see any use for the Queue and Stack data structures. What are people using these for? Also, I've noticed that the design based upon linked lists incurs a lot of allocation and that destroys scalability. This is surprising given that the sole purpose of these collections is multicore programming. Is this an inherent limitation or are they just badly implemented?
