    Im trying to use the Zend Frameworks ACL library in my code (in codeigniter) and after including the library in my controller I get this error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Zend_Acl in C:\xampp\php\PEAR\Zend\Acl.php on line 48 If I remove the include to the Zend library I get this error instead Fatal error: Class 'Zend_Acl' not found in C:\xampp\htdocs\ISU-Cart\system\application\libraries\acl.php on line 3 Any help on this?

  • Ubuntu: SWT App Can't Load GTK Library

    I have supplied the Linux SWT jar and packaged my app in Eclipse to include swt.jar inside my app's jar. When I try to run it on Ubuntu, I get the following error text (posting only cause): Caused by: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Could not load SWT library. Reasons: no swt-pi-gtk-4234 in java.library.path no swt-pi-gtk in java.library.path /home/nifty/.swt/lib/linux/x86/libswt-pi-gtk-4234.so: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Can't load library: /home/nifty/.swt/lib/linux/x86/libswt-pi-gtk.so This indicates to me it can't load a GTK file, but anything beyond that, and I'm at a loss. I'm only using Ubuntu to test my app, so I know very little.

  • Is there any graphics library in a higher level than OpenGL

    Hello, I am looking for a graphics library for 3D reconstruction research to develop my specific viewer based on some library. OpenGL seems in a low level and I have to remake the wheel everywhere. And I also tried VTK(visualization toolkit). However, it seems too abstract that I need to master many conceptions before I start. Is there any other graphics library? I prefer to program in python. So I would like the library has a python wrapper. I think something like O3D would be better. But O3D is for javascript and it seems that Google already stops the development.

  • Nested namespaces, correct static library design issues

    Hello all, I'm currently in the process of developing a fairly large static library which will be used by some tools when it's finished. Now since this project is somewhat larger than anything i've been involved in so far, I realized its time to think of a good structure for the project. Using namespaces is one of those logical steps. My current approach is to divide the library into parts (which are not standalone, but their purpose calls for such a separation). I have a 'core' part which now just holds some very common typedefs and constants (used by many different parts of the library). Other parts are for example some 'utils' (hash etc.), file i/o and so on. Each of these parts has its own namespace. I have nearly finished the 'utils' part and realized that my approach probably is not the best. The problem (if we want to call it so) is that in the 'utils' namespace i need something from the 'core' namespace which results in including the core header files and many using directives. So i began to think that this probably is not a good thing and should be changed somehow. My first idea is to use nested namespaces as to have something like core::utils. Since this will require some heavy refactoring i want to ask here first. What do you think? How would you handle this? Or more generally: How to correctly design a static library in terms of namespaces and code organization? If there are some guidelines or articles about it, please mentoin them too. Thanks. Note: i'm quite sure that there are more good approaches than just one. Feel free to post your ideas, suggestions etc. Since i'm designing this library i want it to be really good. The goal is to make it as clean and FAST as possible. The only problem is that i will have to integrate a LOT of existing code and refactor it, which will really be a painful process (sigh) - thats why good structure is so important)

  • SSIS FTP Task problem with UNIX server

    Hi, I would like to ask if there's a known issue with the FTP Task of SSIS 2005 on UNIX servers(HP UX B.11.23.). As per checking, we were able to ftp files on Windows Server but not on Unix. Though I can browse the ftp path of the UNIX server from my windows exlporer. I can even manually copy files. But when I tried uploading file thru SSIS FTP task, it does'nt work. Please help.   • Scheduled task username changed

    Hi, I created a user on our exchange server, but later changed the username. Now, when I create a scheduled task for that user, and change it's settings (run only when logged on), the username is automatically changed back to the old username. What's causing this and how do I make sure the correct, new username is used for the task (otherwise it won't run), security settings are okay. I did already log in with a different user to delete the profile on the computer and tried again with this user to no avail. The OS is windows xp, the exchange server is on windows server 2003.     Hi. I'm working on a 64-bit Linux system, trying to build some code that depends on third-party libraries for which I have binaries. During linking, I get a stream of undefined reference errors for one of the libraries, indicating that the linker couldn't resolve references to standard C++ functions/classes, e.g.: librxio.a(EphReader.o): In function `gpstk::EphReader::read_fic_data(std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > const&)': EphReader.cpp:(.text+0x27c): undefined reference to `std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >& std::__ostream_insert<char, std::char_traits<char> >(std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >&, char const*, long)' EphReader.cpp:(.text+0x4e8): undefined reference to `std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >& std::__ostream_insert<char, std::char_traits<char> >(std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >&, char const*, long)' I'm not really a C++ programmer, but this looks to me like it can't find the standard library. Doing some more research, I got the following when I looked at librxio's dependency for the standard library: $ ldd librxio.so.16.0 ./librxio.so.16.0: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./librxio.so.16.0) libm.so.6 => /lib64/libm.so.6 (0x00002aaaaad45000) libstdc++.so.6 => /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6 (0x00002aaaaafc8000) libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x00002aaaab2c8000) libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00002aaaab4d7000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x0000555555554000) So I read that as saying that librxio (one of the third-party libraries) requires at least v3.4.9 of the standard library. But the version I have installed is 4.1.2: $ rpm -qa | grep libstdc compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.x86_64 libstdc++-devel-4.1.2-14.el5.i386 libstdc++-devel-4.1.2-14.el5.x86_64 libstdc++-4.1.2-14.el5.x86_64 libstdc++-4.1.2-14.el5.i386 Shouldn't this work? The shared object major number is 6, same as for v3.4.9. At this level, shouldn't this be backward compatible? It seems like the third-party library is looking for an earlier version of the standard library than what I have installed; but isn't there backward compatibility between versions with the same major number for the shared library? Again, I'm not really a C++ programmer; but I don't see what the problem is. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Building a ctypes-"based" C library with distutils

    Following this recommendation, I have written a native C extension library to optimise part of a Python module via ctypes. I chose ctypes over writing a CPython-native library because it was quicker and easier (just a few functions with all tight loops inside). I've now hit a snag. If I want my work to be easily installable using distutils using python setup.py install, then distutils needs to be able to build my shared library and install it (presumably into /usr/lib/myproject). However, this not a Python extension module, and so as far as I can tell, distutils cannot do this. I've found a few references to people other people with this problem: Someone on numpy-discussion with a hack back in 2006. Somebody asking on distutils-sig and not getting an answer. Somebody asking on the main python list and being pointed to the innards of an existing project. I am aware that I can do something native and not use distutils for the shared library, or indeed use my distribution's packaging system. My concern is that this will limit usability as not everyone will be able to install it easily. So my question is: what is the current best way of distributing a shared library with distutils that will be used by ctypes but otherwise is OS-native and not a Python extension module? Feel free to answer with one of the hacks linked to above if you can expand on it and justify why that is the best way. If there is nothing better, at least all the information will be in one place.

  • Configuring a library to be included with C++ test

    Hello, I would like to utilize the UnitTest++ library in a testing file. However, I am having some difficulty getting the library to be included at compile time. So here is my current directory structure: tests/ UnitTests++/ libUnitTest++.a src/ UnitTests++.h unit/ test.cpp I have just used the UnitTest++ getting started guide to just get the library setup. Here is test.cpp: // test.cpp #include <UnitTest++.h> TEST(FailSpectacularly) { CHECK(false); } int main() { return UnitTest::RunAllTests(); } And I am currently trying to compile with: gcc -lUnitTest++ -L../UnitTest++/ -I../UnitTest++/src/ test.cpp I am currently getting a bunch output with ld: symbol(s) not found at the end. So how would I be able to get the UnitTest++ library properly included when this program is compiled? I am on a Mac and I'd also like for there to be an easy way for people on a Linux machine to run these same tests. Whew, I hope this provides enough information, if not please let me know.

    Having looked at several available http server libraries I have not yet found what I am looking for and am sure I can't be the first to have this set of requirements. I need a library which presents an API which is 'pipelined'. Pipelining is used to describe an HTTP feature where multiple HTTP requests can be sent across a TCP link at a time without waiting for a response. I want a similar feature on the library API where my application can receive all of those request without having to send a response (I will respond but want the ability to process multiple requests at a time to reduce the impact of internal latency). So the web server library will need to support the following flow 1) HTTP Client transmits http request 1 2) HTTP Client transmits http request 2 ... 3) Web Server Library receives request 1 and passes it to My Web Server App 4) My Web Server App receives request 1 and dispatches it to My System 5) Web Server receives request 2 and passes it to My Web Server App 6) My Web Server App receives request 2 and dispatches it to My System 7) My Web Server App receives response to request 1 from My System and passes it to Web Server 8) Web Server transmits HTTP response 1 to HTTP Client 9) My Web Server App receives response to request 2 from My System and passes it to Web Server 10) Web Server transmits HTTP response 2 to HTTP Client Hopefully this illustrates my requirement. There are two key points to recognise. Responses to the Web Server Library are asynchronous and there may be several HTTP requests passed to My Web Server App with responses outstanding. Additional requirements are Embeddable into an existing 'C' application Small footprint; I don't need all the functionality available in Apache etc. Efficient; will need to support thousands of requests a second Allows asynchronous responses to requests; their is a small latency to responses and given the required request throughput a synchronous architecture is not going to work for me. Support persistent TCP connections Support use with Server-Push Comet connections Open Source / GPL support for HTTPS Portable across linux, windows; preferably more. I will be very grateful for any recommendation Best Regards

However I can't find any simple examples anywhere of how to specify a required library, and find that library where it might be in various different places. I've currently got: AC_CHECK_LIB(['event'], ['event_init']) but: It doesn't find the version installed in /opt/local/lib It doesn't complain if the library isn't actually found I need to set the include path to /opt/local/include too any help, or links to decent tutorials much appreciated...

  • Change library load order at run time (like LD_PRELOAD but during execution)

    How do I change the library a function loads from during run time? For example, say I want to replace the standard printf function with something new, I can write my own version and compile it into a shared library, then put "LD_PRELOAD=/my/library.so" in the environment before running my executable. But let's say that instead, I want to change that linkage from within the program itself. Surely that must be possible... right?

    Is there any way to detect and handle whether a Java library is correctly releasing file-handles (via "close") from within a Java program that is using said library, short of having access to the actual library code and inserting the corresponding "finally close" statements? If detection is feasible, is there any way to close those file-handles without a reference to the Reader (or FileInputStream) that was reading the file?

  • Adding Runtime Intelligence Application Analytics for a library and not an application

    I want to add usage statistics for a .NET 4.0 library I write on CodePlex. I try to follow the step described here but my problem lies with the fact that what I write is a library and not an application. One of the steps is put the Setup and Teardown attributes. I thought about adding the Setup attribute on a static constructor or a different place that will run once per usage of the library. My problem lies with the Teardown attribute that should be placed on code that ends the usage. I don't know where to put this attribute. Is it possible to get usage statistics on a library? Maybe I can register on an event that will fire when the application unloads the dll?
