    Does Visual Studio .NET 2008 come with UISpy? I ask this for for the reason that my copy of VS installed, but everything else pretty much errored out and I want to know if I need to fix it for UISpy (not worried about compact framework or device emulators). Thanks.

    Hi guys... I've been doing some research in to installers for visual studio express 2008. I don't much like the standard publish option. I'd rather have a proper windows installer. Am I right in thinking that the only way to do this is to upgrade to the standard edition? Are there any third party tools which can be used?     Just downloaded the Visual Studio 2010 Premium and realized that can't compile the project, made for PDA! The error log in output window says: Loading D:\Work...\PDA2.csproj ... D:\Work...\PDA2.csproj : error : The project file 'D:\Work...\PDA2.csproj' cannot be opened. The project type is not supported by this installation. I want to know if mobile development projects are supported in RTM version or they are deprecated?

    Visual studio does not show all the compile errors at once. for example one time it says I have two errors and when I fix them then 102 more compile errors are showing up and these new errors are not dependent on those two previous errors.     When I try to edit an ASPX file with the Design View it freezes for a moment and does nothing, not even an error message. Looking through menus I've seen some strange things: If I go to Tools-Options-HTML Designer it gives me no options on the right panel, just a "Error loading property page" message. When I try to open a file using "Open With..." there should be something like "Web Form - Editor", but it is missing and I can only open them using Code View. I've tried repairing Visual Studio and reinstalling WebDesignerCore, but nothing works. Anyone had the same problem?

    Visual Studio 2010 adds a new feature to improve loading speed of references in "Add .NET Reference" tab. For example, when the target framework of project is 3.5, it displays only 3.5 assemblies in the list, and says "Filtered to: .NET Framework 3.5". This feature is quite annoying, as it makes impossible to find an older assembly, unless you change a target framework in compilation options. Is there any option to disable that filtering?

    Hi Quick question please, its the first time am using visual studio, I usually program in netbeans (java), anyways am writing a simple C# program with some outputs (Console.WriteLine("...");), problem each time i run it I cannot see the program's output in the output window. The "program output" tag is already checked and I already redirected all outputs to the intermediate window but to no avail? any ideas? thanx =)

I could add my solution to subversion's repository using the url: File://c:/svn_repository/ But when I try "svn://localhost" I do not see any repository on my system. My friend who is on the same LAN cannot see my repository. What repository URL should I use for others in LAN to be able to see my repository?
