  • Can we execute methods / code in XCode just like in Visual Studio?

    Visual Studio is one of the best developer IDE of all times, and now was improved with multithreading debugging and much more. My question is regarding XCode and the ability to execute code just like we do in Visual Studio. Let's assume an object in a view and I want to run, let's say: [pickerView setHidden:YES]; in a breakpoint just to see if in that break point I could actually hide the object. I can't find any place for this in the XCode Debugger Am I missing something or I can't execute code that is not in the files already? like in Visual Studio Watch List or Immediate Window

  • How do you combine a Move and Rotate effect in Flex 3?

    I realize you can make one of each effect, set the same target, and hit .play();, but this produces weird results (acknowledged by Adobe, fixed in Flex 4). I'm trying to have an object move from the top of the screen to the bottom while it rotates around it's own center. When called independently, both of these effects work perfectly. When called together, the object always rotates around the top left corner. I even tried putting them both inside a <Parallel> tag with no success. Has anyone come up with a workaround?

  • Update Label text from XML

    Hi, I have an XML will is parsed and then fed to a bunch of Labels. I am trying to add a live element so that the labels refresh automatically from the XML. From what I've read this is possible using a tableView and [tableView reloadData] but the design dictates the use of labels. At the moment the labels only get updated on restarting the app, which is not ideal. Using ViewWillAppear is one option, but want to stick to using lables.

There is no problem with 'userIdentification' (which is a "simple" type) But, 'itineraryArr' is an array of 'itinerary', and I don't know how to use python to create XML array. I tried few combinations, for example itinerary0 = self.client.factory.create('itinerary') itineraryArray = self.client.factory.create('itineraryArray') itineraryArray = [itinerary0] searchRequest.itineraryArr = itineraryArray But all my trials resulted with the same server error - Server raised fault: 'Cannot use object of type itinerary as array' (Fault){ faultcode = "SOAP-ENV:Server" faultstring = "Cannot use object of type itinerary as array" } Appreciate you help.....     I have the following dilemma: I have a list of strings, and I want to find the set of string which start with a certain prefix. The list is sorted, so the naive solution is this: Perform binary search on the prefixes of the set, and when you find an element that starts with the prefix, traverse up linearly until you hit the top of the subset. This runs in linear time, however, and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a more efficient way to do it.

    Is there a way to load a big data object into the memory, which usually has to be loaded at each request, only once? In Java you can instantiate an object in a servlet when this servlet is loaded, but once it's there you can use it in any request. Example is below. When the button is clicked, on: on Chrome (and Safari of course) it just doesn't select anything, instead creates some ghostly empty option on Firefox and Opera, it works the way I expect and want it to work, resets the element value on Explorer, it does nothing So, which one is expected behaviour?     If i want to take all functions and variables declared in my program in firefox i just iterate 'window' object. For example if i have var a=function() {}; i can use a(); or window.a(); in firefox, but not in IE. I have function iterating window object and writing all function names declared in program like that: for (smthng in window) { document.write(smthng); } works in FF, in IE there are some stuff but nothing i declare before. Any ideas?
