  • Unable to install Xdebug

    I've registered xdebug in php.ini (as per http://xdebug.org/docs/install) but it's not showing up when i run "php -m" or when i get a test page to run "phpinfo()". I've just installed the latest version of XAMPP. Can anyone provide any suggestions in getting xdebug to show up?     Here is what I am trying to achieve: I have a nested OU structure that is about 5 levels deep. OU=Portal,OU=Dev,OU=Apps,OU=Grps,OU=Admin,DC=test,DC=com I am trying to find out if the user has permissions/exists at OU=Portal. Here's a snippet of what I currently have: PrincipalContext domain = new PrincipalContext( ContextType.Domain, "test.com", "OU=Portal,OU=Dev,OU=Apps,OU=Grps,OU=Admin,DC=test,DC=com"); UserPrincipal user = UserPrincipal.FindByIdentity(domain, myusername); PrincipalSearchResult<Principal> group = user.GetAuthorizationGroups(); For some unknown reason, the value user generated from the above code is always null. However, if I were to drop all the OU as follows: PrincipalContext domain = new PrincipalContext( ContextType.Domain, "test.com", "DC=test,DC=com"); UserPrincipal user = UserPrincipal.FindByIdentity(domain, myusername); PrincipalSearchResult<Principal> group = user.GetAuthorizationGroups(); this would work just fine and return me the correct user. I am simply trying to reduce the number of results as opposed to getting everything from AD. Is there anything that I am doing wrong?     I understand the question title may be a duplicate but I have not found an answer for my situation yet so here goes; I have this simple peice of code // Convert the Filename to an X509 Certificate X509Certificate2 cert = new X509Certificate2(certificateFilePath); // Get the server certificate store X509Store store = new X509Store(StoreName.TrustedPeople, StoreLocation.LocalMachine); store.Open(OpenFlags.MaxAllowed); store.Add(cert); // x509 certificate created from a user supplied filename But keep being presented with an "Access Denied" exception. I have read some information that suggests using StorePermissions would solve my issue but I don't think this is relevant in my code. Having said that, I did test it to to be sure and I couldn't get it to work. I also found suggestions that changing folder permissions within Windows was the way to go and while this may work(not tested), it doesn't seem practical for what will become distributed code. I also have to add that as the code will be running as a service on a server, adding the certificates to the current user store also seems wrong. Is there anyway to programmatically add a certificate into the local machine store?

I found a question with a suitable answer (How to use a FolderBrowserDialog from a WPF application), except I'm using MVVM. This was the answer I "implemented", except I can't get the window object and I'm just calling ShowDialog() without any parameters. The problem is this: var dlg = new FolderBrowserDialog(); System.Windows.Forms.DialogResult result = dlg.ShowDialog(this.GetIWin32Window()); In my ViewModel there the this has no GetIWin32Window() method for me to get the Window context. Any ideas on how to make this work?

  • Set the JAXB context factory initialization class to be used

    I have updated our projects (Java EE based running on Websphere 8.5) to use a new release of a company internal framework (and Ejb 3.x deployment descriptors rather than the 2.x ones). Since then my integration Tests fail with the following exception: [java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.ibm.xml.xlxp2.jaxb.JAXBContextFactory] I can build the application with the previous framework release and everything works fine. While debugging i noticed that within the ContextFinder (javax.xml.bind) there are two different behaviours: Previous Version (Everything works just fine): None of the different places brings up a factory class so the default factory class gets loaded which is com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.ContextFactory (defined as String constant within the class). Upgraded Version (ClassNotFound): There is a resource "META-INF/services/javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext" beeing loaded successfully and the first line read makes the ContextFinder attempt to load "com.ibm.xml.xlxp2.jaxb.JAXBContextFactory" which causes the error. I now have two questions: What sort is that resource? Because inside our EAR there is two WARs and none of those two contains a folder services in its META-INF directory. Where could that value be from otherwise? Because a filediff showed me no new or changed properties files. No need to say i am going to read all about the JAXB configuration possibilities but if you have first insights on what could have gone wrong or help me out with that resource (is it a real file i have to look for?) id appreciate a lot. Many Thanks! EDIT (according to comments Input/Questions): Out of curiosity, does your framework include JAXB JARs? Did the old version of your framework include jaxb.properties? Indeed (i am a bit surprised) the framework has a customized eclipselink-2.4.1-.jar inside the EAR that includes both a JAXB implementation and a jaxb.properties file that shows the following entry in both versions (the one that finds the factory as well as in the one that throws the exception): javax.xml.bind.context.factory=org.eclipse.persistence.jaxb.JAXBContextFactory I think this is has nothing to do with the current issue since the jar stayed exactly the same in both EARs (the one that runs/ the one with the expection) It's also not clear to me why the old version of the framework was ever selecting the com.sun implementation There is a class javax.xml.bind.ContextFinder which is responsible for initializing the JAXBContextFactory. This class searches various placess for the existance of a jaxb.properties file or a "javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext" resource. If ALL of those places dont show up which Context Factory to use there is a deault factory loaded which is hardcoded in the class itself: private static final String PLATFORM_DEFAULT_FACTORY_CLASS = "com.sun.xml.internal.bind.v2.ContextFactory"; Now back to my problem: Building with the previous version of the framework (and EJB 2.x deployment descriptors) everything works fine). While debugging i can see that there is no configuration found and thatfore above mentioned default factory is loaded. Building with the new version of the framework (and EJB 3.x deployment descriptors so i can deploy) ONLY A TESTCASE fails but the rest of the functionality works (like i can send requests to our webservice and they dont trigger any errors). While debugging i can see that there is a configuration found. This resource is named "META-INF/services/javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext". Here are the most important lines of how this resource leads to the attempt to load 'com.ibm.xml.xlxp2.jaxb.JAXBContextFactory' which then throws the ClassNotFoundException.   • WPF WebBrowser NavigateToString vs NavigateToStream (hebrew/non-utf8 encodings)

    When I use WPF WebBrowser's NavigateToString method to display UTF8 html (with hebrew text in it) it's displayed perfectly. However, when I try to use the NavigateToString to display html with hebrew text in it in a non-utf8 encoding (CodePage 1255 to be exact) the hebrew is messed up. I checked the cp1255 string in Visual Studio's debugger and it looks great, and also when I save the source of the web browser's contents and open it with an external browser it looks great. If I use the NavigateToStream method instead of the NavigateToString method it works great. What's the problem with the NavigateToString? am I doing something wrong?

  • How do I overcome the "The symbolic link cannot be followed because its type is disabled." error whe

    Following on from a previous question, I am creating a symbolic link on a Server 2008 from a Vista machine using UNC paths. I can create the link just fine. I can go to the Server 2008 box and double click on the link in explorer to open the target file. What I cannot do though is use FileCreateW to get a handle to the UNC path link (from the Vista box). When I try it, it fails and GetLastError() returns error code 1463 (0x5B7), which is: The symbolic link cannot be followed because its type is disabled. Can anyone tell me how to enable its "type" in Server 2008 (assuming the error means what it says)?

    I am creating an EF4 model-first application with a WPF UI. One of the controls on my UI is a RichTextDocument, which outputs a WPF FlowDocument. I can either serialize the FlowDocument to a byte array, or extract its XAML markup as a string. I would prefer to use binary serialization, if I can. Here are my questions: If I serialize to a byte array, how do I specify an entity property as a byte array in the EDM Designer? If I extract a XAML markup string, can I specify that the EDM Designer create the corresponding database column as a nvarchar(max) column? As to the second question, I assume I could always manually edit the MyModel.edmx.sql file to change the data type from nvarchar(4000) to nvarchar(max) before executing it, but I would like to know if it can be done in the Designer.     I need to apply paragraph formatting to a selection in a rich text box. My RTB will behave the same way as the rich text boxes on StackOverflow--the user can type text into the RTB, but they can also enter code blocks. The RTB will apply very simple formatting to the code block--it will change the font and apply a background color to the entire block, similar to what you see in the code block below. Changing the font is pretty straightforward: var textRange = new TextRange(rtb.Selection.Start, rtb.Selection.End); textRange.ApplyPropertyValue(TextElement.FontFamilyProperty, "Consolas"); textRange.ApplyPropertyValue(TextElement.FontSizeProperty, 10D ); Now I need to apply some paragraph-level formatting. I need to set the paragraph margin to 0, so I don't get a blank line between code lines, and I need to set the paragraph background color. Here's my problem: I can't figure out how to get the paragraph elements from the selection, so that I can apply formatting. Any suggestions? An example of how to apply the Margin and Background properties would be incredibly helpful. Thanks!

  • WCF "DataContext accessed after Dispose"

    I have an application with numerous WCF services that make use of LINQ-To-SQL as the data access model. I am having lots of problems with the "DataContext accessed after Dispose" exception. I understand what this exception is and that it is occurring because I have not "initialised" the data that is trying to be accessed. I've read many articles that suggest that I called ToList() on any arrays before the parent object is returned by the service. My issue is that I am getting this exception and I don't know where it is originating from and therefore I don't know what hasn't been initialised. Can anyone advise how best to identify the root cause? (I have used the MS Service Trace Viewer and this doesn't seem to give me any further information)

  • Add a row to UITableView for adding new item?

    In order to provide UI for user to add new items to my table view, I would like to add a new row in my table at a specified location (last row for example) when the view is in edit mode (I have a edit button on the view's navigation bar right side). This new row will have a add button indicator on the left side and disclosure accessory arrow on the right. When the view is not in edit mode, this add row should not be displayed. I am not sure if I should overwrite: - (void)setEditing:(BOOL)editing animated:(BOOL)animated{...} where I call the UITableView's method: insertRowsAtIndexPaths:(NSArray *)indexPaths withRowAnimation: (UITableViewRowAnimation)animation to insert a new row? My understanding is that this call may add a new row into the table view. The table view's data source is from CoreData storage. Not sure this may cause inconsistent numbers of data in the data store and table view? If it is OK and I have to manage rows in the table view, how can I add left add indicator and left disclosure arrow to the new row? Another question is that if I can do it to insert a new row as Add row, should I remove it when the table view not in edit mode? Just want to know if I am on the right track.

    What tools best support the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) Version 2.0, including support for transfer of the architecture data in accordance with the DoDAF Meta Model (DM2) Physical Exchange Specification (PES)? My initial research found that MagicDraw and Casewise claim support for version 2.0; and several other tools have support for earlier (or unspecified) DoDAF/MoDAF versions including Sparx Enterprise Architect, Troux, IDS Scheer ARIS, Artisan Studio and Rational System Architect. Experiences with any enterprise architecture tools and DoDAF 2.0 would be appreciated. The immediate need is for Data and Information Viewpoint models (DIV-1, DIV-2/OV-7, DIV-3/SV-11), but models in the other Viewpoints will be developed. Thanks -

    Hi, I have some html files with their own css. I want to use them in a gwt application so i copied the html and the css files in the application. The problem is when i open the html it uses the gwt theme style. For example in my css the html 'body' background color is black, but it looks white unless i deactivate the theme. How could I override the gwt theme style and use my css styles??? thx a lot....

  • Android SDK Manager and AVD Manager doesn't have the correct information and fails to update on Ubun

    I'm trying to install Android SDK on Ubuntu but fail when I try to use the SDK Manager and AVD Manager to install Android platforms. I've downloaded: android-sdk_r04-linux_86.tgz The I start the SDK Manager and AVD Manager (UI) according to the README file: ./tools/android And I get the following Installed Packages: - Install SDK Tools, revision 4 Available Packages: - https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repoisotry/repository.xml - This repository requires a more recent version of the Tools. Please update- - Android SDK Tools, revision 4 - Archive for Linux (comment: funny since rev 4 seems to be what's installed this is what seems to be installed) Now doing an update of the Android SDK Tools, revision 4 or everything results in 99% progress and then the application hangs.
