• How can I change the URL for a single page in Wordpress?

  I'm using wordpress as the CMS. I have developed a custom plugin to show dealers information. below is the URL. http://example.nl/dealer-info/dealer-informatie/?n=91&d=dealer-name 91 is the dealers ID which is used to fetch the data from the DB. Is it possible for me to change to URL as below. http://example.nl/dealer-info/dealer-informatie/91/dealer-name or http://example.nl/dealer-info/dealer-informatie/?n=91/dealer-name My purpose is to just to add /dealer-name to the URL. How can I change the URL for a single page in Wordpress? Given that I don't want to change the permalinks which will affect the whole site. I'm aware the fact that this can be done using .htaccess but I don't the how to do it. Help me out if possible.

• Problem with multi-table MySQL query

  I have 3 tables. Here is the relevant information needed for each. items prod_id order_id item_qty orders order_id order_date order_status acct_id accounts acct_id is_wholesale items is linked to order by the order_id and orders is linked to accounts via acct_id I need to sum item_qty for all items where prod_id=464 and the order stats is not 5 and where the is_wholesale is 0 and the order_date is between two dates. Im struggling with this and would appreciate any help. Here is what I have but it's not working correctly: SELECT SUM(items.item_qty) as qty FROM items LEFT JOIN orders ON orders.order_id = items.order_id LEFT JOIN accounts on orders.acct_id = accounts.acct_id WHERE items.prod_id =451 AND orders.order_date >= '$from_date' AND orders.order_date <= '$to_date' AND orders.order_status <>5 AND accounts.is_wholesale=0; Again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

• How to bring Webserive text into a Winform aplication

  I am working a Winform Application that needs to access a webservice to get some basic information. The webservice exists, and the following is a link that brings text. Which basically is the customer name in Json format. http://globalbox.com.py/api/getUSER.php?gb=3217 So, my point, i need to be able to read the name of the customer and put that into a string variable. How do I read this from Winforms? I have no idea how to go about doing this... please help. Visual Basic code would be better, or else C# will do. thanks in advance!!

• C# Object Array CopyTo links both arrays' values?

  Okay, I have what I think is a simple question.. or just a case of me being a C# beginner. I have an array of custom objects (clsScriptItem) that I am populating from a database. Once the items are loaded, I want to back them up to "backup" array so I can revert the information back after changing the main array. However, when I use CopyTo to copy the array and then alter the original array, the backup array is also being altered... I though CopyTo merely copied values + structure from one array to another. private void backupItems() { lastSavedItems = new clsScriptItem[items.Length]; items.CopyTo(lastSavedItems, 0); //items[0].nexts[0] is 2 //lastSavedItems[0].nexts[0] is 2 items[0].nexts[0] = "-1"; //items[0].nexts[0] is -1 //lastSavedItems[0].nexts[0] is also -1 } How do I backup this data without having the two arrays be 'linked'??

  I'm looking to build a web application that allows a person to select a plan and fill out an application for that plan. There are multiple plans and each plan generates a different application. Some of the questions are identical such as fields related to personal information. I'm thinking of using ASP.NET MVC to build this web application. • receive xml file as a parameter to a .net web service

  My company is currently looking into bringing a new piece of third party software in for online ordering. The software does not handle pricing so they are requesting the pricing information from a web service. Their software is passing an XML file as a parameter, and expecting an XML file as a response. I would think that returning an XML file would be pretty straight forward, but I cannot think of a way to receive an XML file as a parameter. Has anyone done this, or am I missing something really obvious?

  Here's the scenario: I have a private site that, once logged on, will display different information depending on the attributes of your account: the pages are branded differently based upon what company you are associated with. The problem is the companies linking to this site want everything to be displayed as their own brand, and do not want to see my brand anywhere, especially in the URL (i.e. from www.theirbrand.com they do not want to have links to www.mybrand.com). Is there an elegant solution to this? Is the best option to add a page on www.theirbrand.com that contains an iframe with a source of www.mybrand.com (I'm not sure if that would interfere with back/forward navigation, etc), or is there a better way?

• Generated PersonController expects Authority to contain word ROLE

  I'm brand new to acegi and relatively new to Grails. I just followed the tutorial to set up a new role and a new user. Every time I saved the user (with a role checked), it saved the user information fine, but not the role associated with the user. I finally dug into the controller code that was generated, and noticed this: private void addRoles(person) { for (String key in params.keySet()) { if (key.contains('ROLE') && 'on' == params.get(key)) { Authority.findByAuthority(key).addToPeople(person) } } } So to be sure I was interpreting it correctly, I added the word ROLE to my authorties, and it worked like a charm. Am I missing something obvious, is this a bug, or.......? The examples showed simple role names like "user" or "manager".

• Expanding a row in a div-based table

  I have a stack of <div> elements that show a name. I'd like to include a + link off to the side that, when clicked, expands the <div> and adds more detailed information (from a RoR controller). After poking around on the net, I found link_to_remote and related RoR stuff, but I can't seem to get the right combination to work together.   Given a Java or JavaScript program, after its execution, print out a sequence of calls. The calls are in invocation order. E.g. main() { A(); } A() { B(); C(); } Then the call trace should be: main -> A() -> B() -> C() Is there any tool that can profile and output this kind of information? It seems this is common a need for debugging or performance tuning. I noticed that some profilers can do this, but I prefer a simpler/easy-to-use one. Thanks!

  Hi! I'm doing a conversion between two software which both use XML so the actual conversion part is fairly straightforward - adding text here, removing others here, converting a few information. I'm using VBSCript WSH. The only issue I'm still having is the darn &#13; character - that's my problem! I've tried both strText = Replace(strText, "&#13;", "") and using a regex with Regex.pattern = "&#13;" ... neither works. I also tried replacing char(13), VBCR... nothing seems to detect the actual string itself and not the character it's creating. Can anyone help me?

  In my JSP page I am using post method while submitting the page. So once I go from Page 1 to page 2. In Page 2, If I press F5 I am getting alert as "To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier." I knew this question is a bit sarcastic but please give me an Idea. I can't change my method from POST to GET because I need to send large amount of data. Thanks in advance... Edited: In my Page1.JSP I call onClick function in that function I call action as "/page2servlet.do". Now, In Java side I use Spring Framework. With MVC Object I return to page2.jsp. • WebGL on older Mac OS X versions (say 10.4)

  Not really a programming related question but... I'd like very much to experiment with WebGL on my spare time. My current 'spare time' machine is a MacBook running Mac OS X Tiger (10.4.xx) and I'm unable to find a new browser supporting this OS. Firefox dropped support, Chrome too, and Safari idem. I read somewhere that this is due to a Quicktime bug that Apple won't fix. Does anyone have more information on this issue ? Does anyone have a clue or track to find a running implementation of WebGL on Mac OS X 10.4 ? Cheers,

  Hi, I have a financial cube and i have to calculate Daily Sales Outstanding as : Number of Days between the selected month last date and the earliest transaction date when cummulative sum of Revenue from last date of the month till the date where sum revenue <= the debt amount for the date . e.g On 31/12/2009 my debt amount = 2,500,000 31-Dec-09 30-Nov-09 15-Oct-09 31-Oct-09 Revenue 1,000,000 1,000,000 500,000 1,0000 Cummulative sum of revenue 1,000,000 2,00,000 2,500,000 4,000,000 No of Days 31 30 16 On 15/Oct/09 cummulative revenue is 2,500,000 which equals my debt amount on that day Count of Days = 31 + 31 + 16 = 76 Days. In other words Sum Revenue from the selected date backwards until sum total equals or exeeds the total to date balance of the debtors. Any help will be highly appreciated .   Ok here's the deal I got one table with a bunch of client information. Each client makes up to one purchase a year which is represented by an individual row. there's a column for the year and there's a column the contains a unique identifier for each client. What I need to do is to construct a query that takes last year and this year and shows me which clients were here made a purchase last year but not make a purchase this year. I also need to build a query that shows me which clients did not make a purchase last year and the year before last but did make a purchase this year.

• Identify machine (relatively) uniquely using unc path

  Using C#, and given that the user enters in a unc path. Is there a way to verify that 2 months down the line, when I'm writing a file to the unc path, that it is the same machine as when he entered it? i.e. I'm writing some sensitive information to the path, and want to stop someone from putting another machine on the network with the same name / share etc and grabbing the output. Or if the software is running on a laptop and the user plugs it into another network, and there just happens to be a machine with the same name / share... Any ideas, other than using the IP address (and verifying that its the same?). I don't necessarily have any rights on the remote machine other than write access to the unc share. Yes, I'm probably being paranoid, but would like to know if anything is possible...

• Javascript === vs == : Does it matter which "equal" operator I use?

  I'm using JSLint to go through some horrific JavaScript at work and it's returning a huge number of suggestions to replace == with === when doing things like comparing 'idSele_UNVEHtype.value.length == 0' inside of an if statement. I'm basically wondering if there is a performance benefit to replacing == with ===. Any performance improvement would probably be welcomed as there are hundreds (if not thousands) of these comparison operators being used throughout the file. I tried searching for relevant information to this question, but trying to search for something like '=== vs ==' doesn't seem to work so well with search engines...

  I currently have a string, say $line='55.25040882, 3,,,,,,', that I want to remove all whitespace and repeated commas and periods from. Currently, I have: $line =~ s/[.,]{2,}//; $line =~ s/\s{1,}//; Which works, as I get '55.25040882,3', but when I try $line =~ s/[.,\s]{2,}//; It pulls out the ", " and leaves the ",,,,,,". I want to retain the first comma and just get rid of the whitespace. Is there a way to elegantly do this with one line of regex? Please let me know if I need to provide additional information.

  Hi all, I have a C++ library, which is used in both Linux and Windows. I want to enable the user to control the debug level (0 - no debug, 1 - only critical errors ... 5 - informative debug information). The debug log is printed to a text file. In Windows, I can do it using a registry value (DWORD DebugLevel). What can be a good replacement which works also for Linux? (Without 3rd party tools, for example Linux "registry"). • Shell Prompt Line Wrapping Issue

  I've done something to break my Bash Shell Prompt in OS X (10.5.7) Terminal. This is the PS1 that I had configured: PS1='\[\e[1;32m\]\h\[\e[0m\]:\[\e[1;34m\]\w\[\e[0m\]\$ ' As far as I can tell I have the color commands escaping correctly. However when I scroll up and down in my command history I often get line wrapping issues if the historic commands wrap onto multiple lines. I simplified my prompts to the following: PS1='\[\e[1m\]\h:\w\$ \[\e[0m\]' PS2='> ' And I still see something like: localhost:~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/knpmxpup.Defau lt/extensions/{1A2D0EC4-75F5-4c91-89C4-3656F6E44B68}$ expocd \{1A2D0EC4-7 5F5-4c91-89C4-3656F6E export PS1="\[ \e[1;32m\]\h\[\e[0m\]: cd Library/Appl ication\ Support/ I've also tried \033 instead of \e. I just included PS2 up there for information, I haven't changed that from the install default. If I completely remove the color codes then everything works fine, any ideas?

  I am trying to manage seasonal prices for hotel rooms. (table taken from another question). The problem is: I don't want my seasons to be year specific. Seasons for rooms shouldn't change year on year. I don't want my users to have to enter the seasonal information several times. I am also going to have thousands of rooms, so I don't know a way to make this easily manageable. I'm using mysql and php.

  Is it possible to tell if there are any ongoing 'GET' requests with javascript? I have a feeling that it is not. Basically I don't want to make a seperate request while the other "more important" requests are going as this one is fairly heavy. So I was curious if it is possible to tell if there are currently 'get' requests going and if so I can tell my function to hold off for this update and do it again in 10-15secs.   I would like to write a simple program in c++. After the program is done i would like to get my answers in form of a graph or picture that would give some certain information if i click on a certain area. i have only written console apllications in c++ before and don't really have a clue where to start with the graphic part of it all. Can I write the first part of the program in console mode and some how run it under the WIN32 later? for ex what will happen to the cout<<"foo"; commands? • Export from a standalone database to an embedded database.

  I have a two-part application, where there is a central database that is edited, and then at certain times, the data is released and distributed as its own application. I would like to use a standalone database for the central database (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and then have a reliable export to an embedded database (probably SQLite) for distribution. What tools/processes are available for such an export, or is it a practice to be avoided? EDIT: A couple of additional pieces of information. The distributed application should be able to run without having to connect to another server (ex: your spellchecker still works even you don't have internet), and I don't want to install a full DB server for read-only access to the data.
