  • drupal views block arguments

    - by slimcady
I currently have a view (Drupal 6 using Views2) that properly aggregates a custom content type (videos) and filters them for a page display. When I create a block display, it previews the results in live preview just great, but when i go to the page expecting to see the block it doesn't appear. I'm fairly certain the argument I'm attempting to pass it fails because when I select "Display all results" for "Action to take if argument does not validate:" the block shows up on the page just fine. Any advice definitely appreciated.

  • Find the end/finish coordinates you a UISwipeGestureRecognizer

    - by Code
I can find the start coordinates of where a swipe starts by doing the following - (void)oneFingerSwipeUp:(UISwipeGestureRecognizer *)recognizer { CGPoint point = [recognizer locationInView:[self view]]; NSLog(@"Swipe up - start location: %f,%f", point.x, point.y); } Is it possible to find the coordinates where the swipe ended? I looked into the docs and its not mentioned. Is there some work around for this? Many Thanks, -Code

  • I cannot get mlocManager.removeUpdates(mlocListener); to work

    - by Colin
I have an app that uses the LocationManage functions which works well until the app is stopped or paused. The location listener function is still carrying on in the background. Relevant bits of code follow. When I click home or back the onstop() function is being triggered correctly. package uk.cr.anchor; import android.app.Activity; import android.content.Context; import android.location.Location; import android.location.LocationListener; import android.location.LocationManager; import android.media.MediaPlayer; import android.media.RingtoneManager; import android.net.Uri; import android.os.Bundle; import android.view.View; import android.widget.EditText; import android.widget.TableRow; import android.widget.Toast; import android.widget.ToggleButton; import android.content.SharedPreferences; import android.graphics.Color; public class main extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ private LocationManager mlocManager; private LocationListener mlocListener; @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); LocationManager mlocManager = (LocationManager)getSystemService(Context.LOCATION_SERVICE); LocationListener mlocListener = new MyLocationListener(); mlocManager.requestLocationUpdates( LocationManager.GPS_PROVIDER, 0, 0, mlocListener); } @Override protected void onStop(){ stoplistening(); super.onStop(); } /* Class My Location Listener */ public class MyLocationListener implements LocationListener { @Override public void onLocationChanged(Location loc) { loc.getLatitude(); loc.getLongitude(); etc etc etc } private void stoplistening() { if (mlocManager != null) { Toast.makeText( getApplicationContext(), "kill", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT ).show(); mlocManager.removeUpdates(mlocListener); } else { Toast.makeText( getApplicationContext(), " not kill", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT ).show(); } } } I always get the "not kill" message. Can anyone help me!

  • How to display a very long page like dzone.com?

    - by user360529
Hi, If you ever visit dzone.com you'll notice that all the posts appear on 1 page only. When we scroll that page down, older posts will be added to the end of the page (and maybe some posts at the beginning of the page but outside the view port will be removed). My questions are: - how to know if the user scrolls down/up with javascript/jQuery? - how to know if the user is at the top of the page (they click Ctrl + Home)? Thank you.

  • Magento CSS not Loading in New Template

    - by vulgarbulgar
I have posted on the template creator's site, as well as Magento support, but no one has responded. The CSS is not loading at all on the custom theme I have installed, which is supposedly compatible with the current version of Magento. You can view the page here: shop.dearearth.net This is a fresh installation of Magento and the theme, with a fresh database. I have a feeling it should be a relatively quick fix. Thanks for looking.

  • Binding one dependency property to another

    - by Gregory Dodd
    I have a custom Tab Control that I have created, but I am having an issue. I have an Editable TextBox as part of the custom TabControl View. <Controls:EditableTextControl x:Name="PageTypeName" Style="{StaticResource ResourceKey={x:Type Controls:EditableTextControl}}" Grid.Row="0" TabIndex="0" Uid="0" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="PageTypeNameTextBox" AutomationProperties.Name="PageTypeName" Visibility="{Binding ElementName=PageTabControl,Path=ShowPageType}"> <Controls:EditableTextControl.ContextMenu> <ContextMenu x:Name="TabContextMenu"> <MenuItem Header="Rename Page Type" Command="{Binding Path=PlacementTarget.EnterEditMode, RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType=ContextMenu}}" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="RenamePageTypeMenuItem" AutomationProperties.Name="RenamePageType"/> <MenuItem Header="Delete Page Type" Command="{Binding Path=PageTypeDeletedCommand}" AutomationProperties.AutomationId="DeletePageTypeMenuItem" AutomationProperties.Name="DeletePageType"/> </ContextMenu> </Controls:EditableTextControl.ContextMenu> <Controls:EditableTextControl.Content> <!--<Binding Path="CurrentPageTypeViewModel.Name" Mode="TwoWay"/>--> <Binding ElementName="PageTabControl" Path="CurrentPageTypeName" Mode ="TwoWay"/> </Controls:EditableTextControl.Content> </Controls:EditableTextControl> In the Content section I am binding to a Dependency Prop called CurrentPageTypeName. This Depedency prop is part of this custom Tab Control. public static DependencyProperty CurrentPageTypeNameProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("CurrentPageTypeName", typeof(object), typeof(TabControlView)); public object CurrentPageTypeName { get { return GetValue(CurrentPageTypeNameProperty) as object; } set { SetValue(CurrentPageTypeNameProperty, value); } } In another view, where I am using the custom TabControl I then bind my property, with the actual name value, to CurrentPageTypeName property as seen below: <Views:TabControlView Grid.Row="0" Name="RunPageTabControl" TabItemsSource="{Binding RunPageTypeViewModels}" SelectedTab="{Binding Converter={StaticResource debugConverter}}" CurrentPageTypeName="{Binding Path=RunPageName, Mode=TwoWay}" TabContentTemplateSelector="{StaticResource tabItemTemplateSelector}" SelectedIndex="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource FindAncestor, AncestorType={x:Type UserControl}}, Path=DataContext.SelectedTabIndex}" ShowPageType="Hidden" > <!--<Views:TabControlView.TabContentTemplate> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type ViewModels:RunPageTypeViewModel}"> <RunViews:RunPageTypeView/> </DataTemplate> </Views:TabControlView.TabContentTemplate>--> </Views:TabControlView> My problem is that nothing seems to be happening. It is grabbing its Content from the Itemsource, and not from my chained Dependency props. Is what I am trying even possible? If so, what have I done wrong. Thanks for looking.

  • Open x86 'SOFTWARE' registry key on an x64 machine in C#

    - by Lance May
I am trying to read the 32-bit HKLM\SOFTWARE registry key from a 64-bit (C#) application. This, of course, keeps redirecting my view to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node. According to what I've found this is doable, but I can't seem to find a .NET example anywhere. I just need to read; not write. Anyone ran across this before?

  • In-app settings controlled by plist?

    - by cannyboy
Is there a library or good tutorial which covers creating in-app settings, like this: http://img.skitch.com/20090625-s8bf6ahybwe3cesd1id38h3nt.jpg What I would like is if it: doesn't use the built-in Settings app is controlled by a plist file with various Dictionaries and Arrays creates a nice looking table view allows text fields as well as switches and sliders and ticks etc doesn't have any of the annoying problems I've come across when trying to build my own version (not scrolling to show the textfield, cells disappearing) It would appear that the iphone dev world is crying out for such a thing. THANK YOU!

  • What's the (memory) footprint of a J2EE servlet?

    - by Amr Mostafa
For Jetty, Tomcat, or any other servlet container of your choice, what's the average footprint (memory, and any other notable resources) of a basic servlet? This includes any other basic objects that you almost always need per servlet, such as a view resolver. I'm not looking for a quantitative number in particular, but any indicative answer that could give an idea of how "heavy" or "lightweight" a servlet is. Thanks in advance
