  In my UI project, I have few screens that share the same header style only the text is specific to the screens. What will be a good way to implement this? Have the super class create all the header component and open the components to the sub class, the sub class will access to component's setText method to update the text? or Have abstract method in super class to create the components, sub class will implement these methods to create the component.   Hi, I have an app killing feature in one of my apps but up to API 7 i always worked with restartPackage(String PackageName); but since API 8 its deprecated so I tried killBackgroundProcesses(String PackageName); but that didn't work either. Both are methods are in the ActivityManager class I hope someone can help me.

  I have a function that takes a pointer to a superclass and performs operations on it. However, at some point, the function must make a deep copy of the inputted object. Is there any way I can perform such a copy? It occurred to me to make the function a template function and simply have the user pass the type, but I hold out hope that C++ offers a more elegant solution.

I don't want to invent another one System.Configuration system to configure my application. But there is no method in ConfigurationManager, that allows to load configuration from string or Stream. It seems to me that it's impossible to use a ConfigurationManager in this particular scenario, but may be (and I hope to) wrong?

Now apparently they use their own custom compiler and language that will translate the source code to more "accessible" languages such as PHP and (I think) C#. Is there a name for this language?   Say I have an environment variable myvar myvar=\tapple\n when the following command will print out this variable perl -e 'print "$ENV{myvar}"' I will literally have \tapple\n, however, I want those control chars to be evaluated and not escaped.   When do I execute query COPY TO ... CSV, I create CSV file. BUt when open it column with names in excel that should be with national characters are not as it should be.
