    Hi, everyone I am using BlazeDS for data-push feature in my Flex application project. From the official tutorial, Getting started with BlazeDS, it shows messaging example with producer/consumer from API. but how can I implement server side which doesn't need to be invoke from Flex client, but from within server-side instead. I got some idea but I don't know how to do because I'm a Flex developer, not Java developer, so I think you can help me. In Google, there's a tutorial show about I need to extend ServiceAdapter class in Java-side, which extends Invoke method. Do I need to extend other class instead of this to do what I want? How to configure the message-config.xml to get the result like I describe above?

    This references this issue: Javascript SDK connect() function not working in chrome I asked for more information on how to resolve with localstorage and was asked to create a new topic. The answer was "A workaround is instead of using window.opener, push the oauth token into LocalStorage or SessionStorage and have the opener window listen to the Storage event." but i have no idea how to do that. It seems really simple, but i don't know where to start. I couldn't find an relevant examples. thanks for your help!

"Permission denied (publickey). fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly" I vaguely remember following some sshgen steps I took when I created my 1st github repository but I have forgotten what it was.     Hi, I started a new project and created a local git repo with "git init" and now I have a few branches and everything works great. However since my webhosting company offers git hosting (if you're curious https://support.eapps.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=203) I'd like to push my entire repo to their servers to have a backup in the cloud in case something bad happens to my local repo. How can I make the remote repo the "origin" since the repo was started locally? Hope my question makes sense. Thanks, a Git newbie.

  • Is there a way to create my own "push pins" for a image without using Google Maps API?

    I am interested in working with friends via the internet on a fantasy world map. One of the things I want to do is host an image of the map online and allow us to insert push pins into the image that would then be associated with infoboxes. I don't want to resort to using the Google Map APIs mainly because this is something I want to just share among friends and not publicly. Terms of usage for the APIs state we would need to make the implementation available for everyone. This seems simple enough yet I've no idea how to do this. I looked into image maps, but that requires constant updates to the html markup itself. I just want to insert/delete/edit pushpins and infoboxes on the image and through our site itself. Can someone help me get started?

    Hello - I have my views that are part of a tabBar. Each view has a navigationController. In one of my views I have an embeded xib component. This is a scrolling view with UIButtons inside it. I want to slide in another view, inside the navigationController when a person taps the button. I can get the taps, etc. BUT, I can't figure out how to find the controlling navigationController of that page to push the new view into. Nothing seems to work that I have tried. IS this possible?     For some reason I want to run a script to move files from Linux machine to Windows. I have installed cwRsync on my windows machine and able to connect to linux machine. When i execute following command: rsync -e "ssh -l "piyush"" -Wgovz --timeout 120 --delay-updates --remove-sent-files /usr/local/src/piyush/sync/* "[email protected]:/cygdrive/d/temp" Where 10.0.0.60 is my widows machine and I am running above command on Linux - CentOS 5.5. After running command I get following error message: ssh: connect to host 10.0.0.60 port 22: Connection refused rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [sender] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(463) [sender=2.6.8] [root@localhost sync]# ssh [email protected] ssh: connect to host 10.0.0.60 port 22: Connection refused I have modified my firewall settings on widows to allow all ports. I think this issue is due to SSH Daemon not present on my windows machine. So I tried installing OpenSSH on my machine and running ssh-agent but didn't helped. I tried similar command to run on my widows machine to pull files from Linux and its working fine. For some reason I want command for Linux machine so that I can embed it in a shell script. Can you suggest me if I am missing anything. I am already having cwRsync installed on my widows and running it in daemon mode using --damemon option. And I am able to login using ssh from windows machine to linux machine. When I issue bellow command, it just blocks for 120 seconds (timeout I specified in command) and exits saying there is timeout. rsync -e "ssh -l piyush" -Wgovz --timeout 120 --delay-updates --remove-sent-files /usr/local/src/piyush/sync/* "[email protected]:/cygdrive/d/temp" After starting rsync on widows, I checked, rsyc is running. And widows firewall setting are set to minimal, and on Linux machine stopped iptables service so that port 873 (default rsync port) is not blocked. What can be the possible reason that Linux machine is not able to connect to rsync-daemon on windows machine?

    We have a really old Video learning program that we need to run from the network for our students. However it uses Director Player 6.0 and the students get the error: "Unable to copy the driver file C:\Windows\xobglu16.dll to your Windows directory. Your disk may be full" Now the solution I've read is to copy the files manually to each machine and mark them read-only. I'm trying to do this via GPP, but the Event log is showing an Access is denied error. I believe it is because the student accounts do not have permission to c:\windows. Any ideas on a work around without using a script?

  • Is it possible to push DNS search suffices from DNS server to client?

    Our (active directory, windows-server-based) intranet used to be called "intranet", and DNS worked fine for windows machines and iPads/Android devices. We have changed it to be "apps.intranet", and it still works for windows machines, but no longer for iPads/Android devices. I think this is because out windows clients are configured to append .company.com when searching DNS, to make it a fully qualified lookup (this search suffix list is pushed to the PCs via AD group policies). I must admit, though, I don't know why it worked with just "intranet"! Does anyone know if it's possible to get DNS to "tell" the iPads/Android devices to append .company.com ... or how we can make it work some other way (but still using the multi-label, non-qualified DNS names) ?     Hi, I'm consistently seeing the same message sent in as a crash report from users of an app. It's clear that an object is being over-released but I'm unable to replicate it and I'm looking for tips on tracing the source of it. Does the reference to _CFRelease mean it's a Core Foundation object that's being over released?

    Hello I have a question concerning translating data from a CSV into XML or JSON where it is essential to preserve the heirarchy of the data. For example, if I have CSV data like this: type,brand,country,quantity apple,golden_delicious,english,1 apple,golden_delicious,french,2 apple,cox,,4 apple,braeburn,,1 banana,,carribean,6 banana,,central_america,7 clememtine,,,3 What I want is to preserve hierarchy in the XML so that I get something like: <fruit> <type = "apple"> <brand = "golden_delicious"> <country = "english" quantity = "1"> <country = "french" quantity = "2"> </brand> <brand = "cox"> <quantity = "4"> </brand> <brand = "braeburn"> <quantity = "1"> </brand> </type> <type = "banana"> <country = "carribean" quantity = "6"> <country = "central_america" quantity = "7"> </type> <type = "clementine"> <quantity = "3"> </type> <fruit /> Is it best to try to use JAXP or to convert the above into a table simply of parent, child and then writing the data to an array of strings for processing,? Like this: parent,child fruit,apple apple,golden_delicious golden_delicious,english golden_delicious,french english,1 french,2 apple,cox cox,4 apple,braeburn braeburn,1 And so on.     Using Mercurial (hg), can you just "hg backout" all the commits you did for the files you don't want to push, and then do a push? Because Mercurial (or Git) won't let us push a single file or a single folder to another repository, so I am thinking: 1) How about, we just look at the commit we did, and hg backout the ones we don't want to push. 2) hg out -v to see the list of files that will be pushed 3) now do the push by hg push Is this a good way? This is because I got the following advice: 1) Don't commit that file if you don't want it to be pushed (but sometimes even just for experimentation, I do want to keep the intermediate revisions) (-- maybe I can hg commit and hg backout right away to prevent it from being pushed.) 2) Some people told me just to hg clone tmp from that repository i want to push to, and then copy the local file over to this tmp working directory, hg commit to this tmp repository, and then do a push. But I found that the hg clone tmp will take up 400MB of new data and files, and make the hard drive work very hard, just to push 1 file? So I would rather not use this method.

  • Why Google Analytics is displaying wrong landing pages?

    I see all of my pages as Landing Pages in Google Analytics which cannot be true as I did not post those pages anywhere and I don't see any traffic hitting directly to that page. Also, I am using virtual page views on few buttons and I see those virtual pages as Landing pages too. For example, /click/request-a-quote 35000 views 35000 is too big a number to be ignored. Even if I ignore Virtual Pages Views, I see a lot of pages as Landing Pages that I am 100% sure that visitors ( atleast not so many users) are NOT hitting directly. Any advice, how to debug it?   • How to "push" updates to individual cells in a (ASP.NET) web page table/grid?

    I'm building something similar to a price comparison site. This will be developed in ASP.NET/WebForms/C#/.NET 3.5. The site will be used by the public, so I have no control over the client side - and the application isn't so central to their lives that they'll go out of their way to make it work. I want to have a table/grid that displays products in rows, vendors in columns, and prices in the cells. Price updates will be arriving (at the server) continuously, and I'd like to "push" any updates to the clients' browsers - ideally only updating what has changed. So, if Vendor A changes their price on Product B, I'd want to immediately update the relevant cell in all the browsers that are viewing this information. I don't want to use any browser plug-ins (e.g. Silverlight). Javascript is fine. What's the best approach to take? Presumably my options are: 1) have the client page continuously poll the server for updates, locate the correct cell and update it; or 2) have the server be able to send updates to all the open browser pages which are listening for these updates. The first one would seem the most plausible, but I don't want to constrain the assembled wisdom of the SO community. I'm happy to purchase any third party components (e.g. a grid) that might help with this. I already have the DevExpress grid/ajax components if they provide anything useful.

  • opengl paint program based on Apple's 'glPaint' on a white background - how to blend?

    Trying to write a simple paint program for iPhone, and I'm using Apple's glPaint sample as a guide. The only problem is, painting doesn't work on a white background, since white + colour = white. I've tried different blending functions, but haven't been able to hit on the right combination of settings and/or brushes to make this work. I've seen similar posts about this problem but no answers. Does anyone know how this might work?

    AppStore now rejects applications made with non-Apple like languages. (with modified contract) However, is it allowed using declarative mark-up language formed with XML? (like XHTML, but different schema) The declarative mark-up is a code too, but not a script or logic code. Just a passive, static data, but forms some layout and part of an application logic.
