    Hi, I am looking for some examples of how to do model binding in ASP.NET MVC2 for COMPLEX objects. All the exmples I can find are of simple objects with no child collections or child objects. If I have an Expense object with a child ExpensePayment object. In rails, child objects are rendered with the HTML name attributes like this: expense[expense_payment][net] Rails uses fields_for to render child objects. How can I accomplish something similar in ASP.NET MVC2? Cheers Paul

  • How do I add content from a view in Drupal with arguments?

    I have a Drupal view that displays vacation leaves for a particular employee. I want to have a button or link right on this view that says 'Add Vacation Leave'. When this button/link is clicked, I want the create content form for Vacation Leave to be displayed with the employee's name already filled in. When 'Save' is clicked, I would like to go right back to the view, with my new content added. Is all of this possible? Thanks, Paul

    Hi, To me, I think F# is a bad choice due to the fact that it uses threads behind the scenes. To me, threads are too "heavy" due to things like context switching. I can see why Erlang is a good choice because it uses light weight processes. Am I wrong? Cheers Paul

Basically, in a pure virtual base class the __declspec(novtable) argument can be used to suppress the creation of a vtable for the base class as well as vtable initialization/deinitialization code in the contstructor/destructor respectively.     I have a flow document with images (created from drawings). I have provided a button for the user to enlarge the images (zoom) independently without zooming the text. Is there anyway, I can force the FlowDocumentScrollViewer to display a horizontal scrollbar for scrolling when the images are enlarged? Currently, the enlarged images are simply clipped off.
