I have setup rackspace email for a hosted email solution and am trying to find the best way to pull the emails into my app from all the mailboxes. Hi, I had installed a new IIS7 on a Win2008. Everything worked perfect on the server, but everytime a computer in the LAN tried to browse the web server the client got an error 401 - No autorizado: acceso denegado debido a credenciales no válidas. No tiene permiso para ver este directorio o esta página con las credenciales que ha proporcionando. The IIS user had full permission in the fily system and on the IIS. Have anyone an idea why this could be happening? Thanks

Apache + mod_php Ignores SUID?

Does apache or mod_php cause a SUID flag to be ignored when using the shell_exec command from a web accessed PHP script? I'm trying to allow a web accessible PHP script to rename some files which the apache user does not have write access to. I don't want to give it access to write these, as I only want one controlled script to be able to do this. I'm trying to avoid SUDO and the config needed or the headache/insecurity of using a que called from a privileged users cron, and it seemed like I should be able to use SUID to accomplish this. Try to delete files used by IIS

I got a service coded in c# whoes deleted somes web site files hosted on iis, before an update. But sometime when i delete the files, they stay there. If I try to delete them manually, via explorer, the file are not deletable, because they are in state "Delete pending". Accessing Windows 7 Printer from Ubuntu Linux via LPR/LPD or Samba

Hi, I'm having difficulty printing from my Linux (Ubuntu 10.04) based PC to a printer connected to a Windows 7 machine. I was trying to connect using Samba (version 3.5.6) but this always brings up an authentication screen which never accepts any password I use. So I read somewhere that an alternative is to access the Windows printer via LPR/LPD. I added an LPR/LPD printer in Windows 7, but even within Windows 7, I am not able to print as the print que monitor shows as 'printer busy'. The printer in question is an Epson Stylus DX7400 and works fine when using the standard USB ports....but doesn't when I use with the LPR/LPD ports. I even opened up the TCP/IP port 515 in my McAfee firewall without any success. Any help with this would be highly appreciated. Additionally, does anyone have any idea how I can get Samba working for me?

MSSQL, ASP.NET, IIS. SQL Server perfmon log question

Hi, I'm testing a web application that runs on a hypervisor. The database server and the webserver are seperate vm's that run on the same hypervisor. We did some tests and the functions perform ok. I want you guys to look at a screenshot of a permon log of the sql 2005 server on the busiest moment. The webserver perfmon log looks fine and it's obvious that we have enough resources to present the page in a timely fashion. http://d.imagehost.org/view/0919/heavyload http://d.imagehost.org/0253/heavyloadz.jpg Zoomed out The striped blue line maxing out is the Processor que length (scale 100,0) The green line at around value 30 is Available MBytes (scale 0,01) The rest of the counters are visible on the screenshot. The sql server machine has no CPU limitations on the hypervisor resources and has 5 vcpu's and 5 GB RAM. Can someone help me to interpret this log. Thanks

Microphone on a Dell Vostro 3360

After upgrading my vostro 3360 on Ubuntu 12.04, I saw that drivers were not available for this version (notably for network). So I decided to install 11.10 but the mic still doesn't work (notably on Skype, Gtalk etc.) I join the model of the audio device and the drivers which were installed before I upgraded to ubuntu 12.04 (I succeeded only in installing the network one) Can you help me to find the solution to this problem with my microphone? Je suis donc revenu sur Oneiric mais sans les drivers installés par Dell en usine. néanmoins, j'ai pris soin de noter leurs références (sans toutefois savoir si le micro fonctionne avec ces pilotes, mais cela me semble possible). Pourriez-vous me dire s'il est possible d'installer ces pilotes ? Ou alors si vous avez une solution concernant ce problème de micro ?
