    Hi, I'm trying to add some code in a presentation made with LaTex. I used beamer, added some frames without problems but once I add the listing, I can't compile the presentation anymore. \begin{frame}{Code} \begin{lstlisting} Sample Code \end{lstlisting} \end{frame} The error I pdflatex gave me is: Package Listings Warning: Text dropped after begin of listing on input line 80. Part of my string looks like this: "veau (c\u00f4telette)","veau (filet)","agneau (gigot)","agneau (c\u00f4telette)","b*\u0153*uf (hach\u00e9)","porc (hach\u00e9)" I would like to replace all the \u0153 with "oe". I ve tried: [response stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString:@"\u0153" withString:@"oe"]; but it doesn't work.... I don't understand why! Thanks

  • Accessing curl executable from Program files?

    I have built an application which uses user executable through WScript com object. Now the main program is located in C:\Program files\Myapp Curl executable is located in C:\Curl But it looks like my application is unable to execute curl if main application is in Program files. If i move it to another location it can execute curl nicely. Problem occurs only on Windows Xp on Vista and Win7 it works perfectly. Is there any special permissions i have to give to my app or what?

  • Update of application Icon in Windows-7 Taskbar

    I have a normal MFC Application with an embedded icon. If I start the application, the icon is shown inside the windows-7 taskbar. But when I change the icon inside the resources, rebuild the application and start it, the taskbar doesn't show the current icon, but the icon from the first run. There is no special code inside the application that does something specific with the windows-7 taskbar. Is there a way, (in C++) to tell the windows-7 taskbar to show the current icon?

Works as expected in mysql, however in postgres it is incrementing by 2 each time? It is simple int field I believe, I don't have anything special going on.

    I'm looking to integrate a bunch of RSS/ATOM sources into a feed for our intranet. This is outside my usual realm of work so I've had very limited exposure to this. I'd like to integrate all the feeds into a single reader such that all the news items are in chronological release order. Is this doable? Do I need a special component? Or can I make the ASP.NET integrated components do all this simply enough?

  • How do I format a String in an email so Outlook will print the line breaks?

    I'm trying to send an email in Java but when I read the body of the email in Outlook, it's gotten rid of all my linebreaks. I'm putting \n at the ends of the lines but is there something special I need to do other than that? The receivers are always going to be using Outlook. I found a page on microsoft.com that says there's a 'Remove line breaks' "feature" in Outlook so does this mean there's no solution to get around that other than un-checking that setting? Thanks

    I having trouble scraping a certain long dash that is encoded as — ; on the Time magazine site. It looks like this: —. It works fine when this dash is encoded as mdash, but when the problem dash is scraped, it is returned as unknown characters. I am using Nokogiri and am wondering if I have to use some sort of special encoding? The page says it is encoded with UTF-8.

However, I need a function that can assign a list into a slice of another list. Basically, I'm looking for the expression equivalent of some_list[2:4] = [2, 3].
