• Bring Control to ToolBox

  I created a TextBoxControl which is inherited from Infragistics.Win.UltraWinEditors.UltraTextEditor, an Infragistics control. As showed below. public class TextBoxControl : Infragistics.Win.UltraWinEditors.UltraTextEditor { //My Stuff } At some level Infragistics.Win.UltraWinEditors.UltraTextEditor class also inherited from WinForm's "Control" class. My problem is, this control is not appearing in the ToolBox. I done two steps 1. Choose from browse option and select the dll where the class present 2. Drag and drop the dll directly to the ToolBox In-fact both are same, TextBoxControl control is not appearing in the ToolBox, what i missing here. Edit : TextBoxControl class have empty constructor, nothing special in this class.

  I have a problem with my query, below are two tables that tbl_tag and tbl_tag_usedby. I want to show how much of each record in tbl_tag used by record in tbl_tag_usedby. Here is a query that I use: SELECT t.*, COUNT(u.tagid) AS totale FROM tbl_tag t LEFT JOIN tbl_tag_usedby u ON u.tagid = t.id AND t.status =1 GROUP BY u.tagid and the results are as below: In this case the record id from 2 to 6 do not appear in the query results, I want record id from 2 to 6 are also shown and on the field "totale" its value is 0. QTY is a derived column | Position | QTY -------------------- 1 Clerk 2 2 Mgr 2 Here's what I'm not having luck with: SELECT Position, Count(position) AS 'QTY' FROM tblemployee Where ('QTY' != 1) GROUP BY Position I know that my Position is set up as varchar(255) Count produces a integer data and my where clasue is accurate so that leads me to believe that that Count() is jamming me up. Please throw up an example so I can reference later. Thanks for the help!

• Unable to export runnable jar, launch configuration grayed out

  I am not able to figure out how to export a runnable jar in eclipse. I have a java project (project A) (written by someone else) which when imported in Eclipse, I can click Build Project and it will create a projectName.jar file under bin/ directory. That jar file contains binary *.class files. This jar file is added as external library for another java project (project B) which I want to debug. But because all the class files are binary I'm not able to do line-by-line debugging. I tried exporting Runnable Jar in Eclipse, for that I have to select a Launch Configuration. But there is no main class in project A. (I recursively grepped for main and didn't find any). What can I do to export jar of project A that contains respective source code also (which will be used in line-by-line debugging)?

  So say for example I created a few small squares in expression blend. I then group them together by selecting them, right clicking and selecting "Group Into - Grid" So now that they are in the grid, I'd like to be able to resize this grid and then they would resize but it doesn't happen, it just resizes the grid but leaves the vectors the same. Is there a way to do what I am looking for? p.s I know you can just select all the vectors and then resize them all, but I am looking for a way to just resize one container and not all the objects in there..

• Running javascript in AJAX loaded DIV

  I have page loading, via AJAX a PHP page into a div. In turn, this loaded page has it's own javascript and AJAX loaded div. Reason is to allow user to select data alter data within loaded data. I'm trying to do this without the help of JSON or such to communicate between JS and PHP. I'm guessing the parent calling page has already loaded the javascript, and the AJAX loaded content can't access that? (I've tried running the JS into the AJAX loaded content as well) If so, is there anyway to access that?

  I have a table with slanted text in the header row, the only problem is that the text still makes the width of the columns way to large. Is there any way to squish together the table columns so that they are about the width of the select boxes? Or is there a way to place the text there without it in the header and maybe just use a <div> or <p>?   How do you escape a double quote character inside a MS SQL 'contains' function? SELECT decision FROM table WHERE CONTAINS(decision, '34" AND wide') Normally contains() expects double quotes to surround an exact phrase to match, but I want to search for an actual double quote character. I've tried escaping it with \, `, and even another double quote, but none of that has worked. P.S. I realize a simple example like this could also be done using the LIKE statement, but I need to use the fulltext search function. The query I provided here has been simplified from my actual query for example purposes.

• Client Profile Application prerequisites

  One last question about Client Profile installation. I downloaded the Microsoft .NET Framework Client Profile Online Installer because we want to put it in the installation CD because our end user might not have either .net framework 3.5 or internet. So we want to be able to handle both cases. In the prerequisites I'm able to select the location of where the file will be, but I don't know where it should be. I want to be able to somehow put the path of the cd, something like d:\ProductName\Prerequisites\DotNetFx35ClientSetup.exe so it can get it and install it from there. • PDO Prepare statement not processing parameters

  I've exhausted all efforts at what appears to be a trivial problem, but gotten nowhere. There is a simple Prepare statement: $qry = $core->db->prepare("SELECT * FROM users WHERE email = '?'"); $qry->execute(array('[email protected]')); However, no rows are returned. Running the query with the parameters hardcoded into the query results in a successful selection of one row. I've tryed many different methods of doing the prepare, but even it this most simple form it isn't working. The PDO object is stored in a singleton called Core. PDO is using the mysql driver.

  I have a database with a calendar table (each row represents one day) with 4 years of rows (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015). I use the column name calyear for the year. I use the following code to find values for distinct years then display it: $year = mysql_query("SELECT DISTINCT calyear FROM calendar"); while($yeararray = mysql_fetch_array($year)) { echo($yeararray['calyear']."<br />"); } The problem is it only displays the years 2013, 2014, 2015 even though when I use echo(mysql_num_rows($year); it displays the value 4 which I take to mean all 4 years are there. I'm not quite sure where I'm going wrong with this.

  In one SQL Task can I create a table variable DELCARE @TableVar TABLE (...) Then in another SQL Task or DataSource destination and select or insert into the table variable? The other option I have considered is using a Temp Table. CREATE TABLE #TempTable (...) I would prefer to use Table Variable so that it remains in memory. But can use temp table if it is not possible to use table variable. Also I cannot use the record set destination as I need to preform straight SQL tasks on it later on.

  When launching a process with CreateProcessW(), is it possible to have the process created with a different MBCP locale/codepage then the one that is configured as the system-wide default code page? In the target process, this should have the same effect as calling _setmbcp(). The target process is not a unicode-enabled and uses a plain main(int argc, char **argv) entry point. I would like to be able to select the code page to which unicode arguments passed to CreateProcessW() are converted to be different from the system's default codepage for non-unicode programs.

  I have a string column which contains some numeric fields, but a lot are 0, empty string or null. The rest are numbers having different range, all positive. I tried to create a custom order by. The order would be done by two fields. First I would like to order the fields that have this number 0 and then sort by name. So something this would work: select * from table order by sign(referenceid) desc, name asc; But Sqlite lacks the sign() -1/0/1 function, and I am on Android and I can't create user defined functions. What other options I have to get this sort done.

• Looking for a Silverlight 3 or 4 Menu control providing decent keyboard support.

  I've an N-Tier application using Silverlight for the client. The customer as one particular request - I thought was more than reasonable: all actions – including menu navigation – has to be available through keyboard. When I tried Silverlight 4 I was surprised not to find any menu control so I downloaded several open source and commercial menu controls. I was very disappointed, after having searched for a couple of hours I didn’t manage to find any control that provide a decent keyboard support. Most controls provide no support or some basic support but not one control enabled to gain focus on the first item through the keyboard. You are able to use the keyboard (arrow keys) but you need first to select the control with the mouse! Not one control provided support for Keyboard shortcuts. Does anyone know of any Silverlight control providing descent support?
