  • Creating Synch Point In TFS Source Tree Development Cycle

    Our development cycle rarely requires a branch so we have what tfs appears to consider a single, never-ending development cycle. Our problem is that each build includes an ever increasing long "Generating list of changesets and updating work items" step that includes all changesets/work items back to day 1. What is the proper step that we need to perform to formally lock and label (wrong terms I'm sure) the source tree so that a new cycle of changesets and work items can begin. Thanks!

    I have a scenario where a user is emailing another user in an HTML based web app. For the To: field, the user may select one of a pre-defined list of emails OR enter their own ignoring the pre-defined options. What would be the best way of doing this from a UI point of view? I've looked at editable select boxes using jQuery but none seem to let you enter your own option. Is there some other UI mechanism that would work here?

    I have the following abstract Django models: class Food(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=100) class Meta: abstract = True In one of my view, I created a bunch of Food model: panino = Food(name='Panino') poutine = Food(name='Poutine') food = [panino, poutine] From the above, I'm not saving the model and storing the Food model in a regular Python list. I want to store the above food models in a QuerySet object. How can I do that without storing any data to the database?

    I am getting lot of errors for HttpRequestValidationException in my event log. Is it possible to HTMLEncode all the inputs from override of ProcessRequest on web page. When clicking this the menu text moves left off the menu and the new categories are in. How do i do this type of menu? i'm open to any libs. It would be nice if i can fill it using json or a config file.

    Hi, I want to use git as a local repository against a remote SVN repository. I installed version 1.6.0.2 from http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/downloads/list. According to the documentation synchronization is done via the command git svn or a separate command wrapper called git-svn Neither of them is available in my installation and I could not find a separate download for Windows binaries. I'm currenty using the MSYS build. Must I switch to cygwin?

We can't use captcha or other techniques like that because this is before we even ask for human input, basically we are logging page hits and we would like to only log page hits by humans.     I'm recently change my data table, I remove column and add a new column that define as identity = True and identity seed = 1, identity increment = 1. When i tried to insert data to this table by STORE PROCEDURE i get this exception: An explicit value for the identity column in table 'AirConditioner' can only be specified when a column list is used and IDENTITY_INSERT is ON. I saw that i need to add this lines: SET IDENTITY_INSERT [dbo].[AirConditioner] ON and finally OFF I added and its still throw an exception... My store procedure is attached as a picture

    I have a simple slideshow (list items) but a combination of portrait and landscape images. I'm working on a fluid grid so everything is, essentially, 100% of itself. I'm wondering if there's a way for all the images to remain the same height, but the widths stay true to their proportions. All the images have the same height - 2000px - when uploaded.   • Default Sorting in DynamicData

    I am using DynamicData in the version that shipped with VS2008. In the default List view, the data is sorted by order of entry into the database. I'd like to get it sorted by a field of a specific name (descending). As a last resort I tried to use the OrderByParameter of the LinqDataSource with a QueryStringParameter, but I could not get it to sort anything. =) Is there an easy way to accomplish this?
