• Where are the static methods in gcc's dump file.c.135r.jump

  When I run gcc with the parameter -fdump-rtl-jump, I get a dump file with the name file.c.135r.jump, where I can read some information about the intermediate representation of the methods in my C or C++ file. I just recently discovered, that the static methods of a project are missing in this dump file. Do you know, why they are missing in that representation and if there is a possibility to include the static methods in this file, too. Update (some additional information): The test program, I'm using here, is the Hybrid OpenMP MPI Benchmark. Update2: I just reproduced the problem with a serial application, so it has nothing to do with parallel sections.

  Hello, Hello, I am quite new to iphone development. I have a situation here. I have some labels which can be dragged across the screen. When any of these labels are dragged to some textfield and released over a textfields UIlabel test is assigned to that text field. Now the problem is this I want to assign the text of UILabel to some specific position in textfield according to release of textfield i.e If user releases at the beginning of text field then it should be appended at the beginning and if somewhere near end of text of textfield then it should be appendended at the end.   I've been trying to set up a basic test animation using jsanim.js and using their example site to set up my html, css and js. However, I just can't figure it out (not a developer...designer!) and there isn't just a simple html, css, js file to download showing how to say animate a DIV left to right. The examples of how the library works are clear but I'm lacking something in the set up and looking at their source on the site is nuts...too much going on in there.   Hello! I'm trying to serialize "vector" (Microsoft.FSharp.Math) type. And I get that error: Exception Details: System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: Type 'Microsoft.FSharp.Math.Instances+FloatNumerics@115' with data contract name 'Instances.FloatNumerics_x0040_115:http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/Microsoft.FSharp.Math' is not expected. Add any types not known statically to the list of known types - for example, by using the KnownTypeAttribute attribute or by adding them to the list of known types passed to DataContractSerializer. I have tried to put KnownType attribute and some other stuff, but nothing helps! Could someone know the answer? • WCF Authentication on the Internet - HELP

  I have a WCF service using the basicHTTP binding. The service will be targeted to be deployed in production in a DMZ environment on a Windows Server 2008 64 bit running IIS 7.0 and is not in an Active Directory domain. The service will be accessed by a business partner over the Internet with SSL protection. Originally, I had built the service to use x.509 Message authentication with wsHTTPBinding and after a lot of problems I punted and decided to back up and use basicHTTP with UserName authentication. Result: same exact, obscure error message as I received with certificate mode. The service works perfectly inside our domain with the exact same authentication but as soon as I move it to the DMZ I get an error reading: "An unsecured or incorrectly secured fault was received from the other party. See the inner FaultException for the fault code and detail". The inner exception message is: "An error occurred when verifying security for the message." • JCAPS deployment to multiple external system environments.

  Hope a few people in here are familiar with JCAPS. Coming from pure j2ee world, it is difficult to digest the deployment model that JCPAS offers. While creating deployment profile, we need to map the resources (such as jdbc, webservice connector) to external systems. External systems are predefined with the target server ip, port, db name, credentials etc(in case of jdbc). So the problem is an EAR built for test environment can not be deployed to production environment. In simpler applications we could store database/credentials etc on to property files and hence EAR built for UAT could be deployed to Production with out any change. Is there a similar strategy available for JCAPS by which EARs built against an environment can be promoted to another seamlessly?

• Getting progress status out of a class library method

  This app that I am doing uses a class library (if I dare call it that) to do the bulk of the work: 2 main methods in there (DoWork and UndoWork) use the other classes to achieve thier goal. Now that that works, I want to get out of the Console test enviroment and do a GUI. How would I get the status of say, the DoWork() method to update a progress bar? Should I multilate the class library (which currently works with the Console and Windows.Forms) to update? The problem with that is that I would surely have to make the class library use Window.Forms which will mess up the console testing apps (And there are lots of them - I tested all the way through, and then all together). Could you suggest some ideas, or places I can read up about ideas (the whole point of writing this this program is to learn, afer all)? Oh, by the way, suggestions like "foresight" or "planning" probably won't help here...(now, anywyay!) - But certainly will in future projects!

Is this the right way to do it, and also the right way to test for time? I'm testing for a 24 hour clock by the way, not AM / PM. • How can I get the associated ref path for a git SHA?

  Hi, I want to be able to pass anything to a git command (maybe its a SHA, maybe it's just something like "origin/master" or "devel/epxerimental" etc.) and git tells me the ref path of the branch that the passed something lives in, e.g. <git_command> 0dc27819b8e9 => output: refs/heads/master <git_command> xyz/test => output: refs/remotes/xyz/master ... I've been looking at git show or git log or git rev-parse and apart from --pretty=format:%d I couldn't find anything. (--pretty=format:%d output is quite strange with lotsa free space and empty lines and sometimes more than one ref paths are on one line bunched together). There has to be a better way? Windows Server 2003 has been built to test the application. The database has been scripted across using MS SQL Server GUI. ASP.Net application services tables were created using an utility. The connection strings are stored in the web.config and connectionStrings.config. The application connects to the database successfully, but then it times out after 10 seconds.

• Soql query to get all related contacts of an account in an opportunity

  i have SOQL query which queries for some records based on a where condition. select id, name,account.name ... <other fields> from opportunity where eventname__c='Test Event' i also need to get the related contact details for the account in the opportunity. ie i need to add the email ids of contact who all are part of the account in the opportunity. For each opportunity, i need to get all the contacts emailids who are associated with the account in opportunity. I cant really figure out how to approach this. referring the documentation i can get the contact info of a account using the query SELECT Name, ( SELECT LastName FROM Contacts ) FROM Account How can i use this along with opportunity? • java System.nanoTime is really slow. Is it possible to implement a high performance java profiler?

  I did a test and found the overhead of a function call to System.nanoTime() is at least 500 ns on my machine. Seemed that it is very hard to have a high performance java profiler. For enterprise software, suppose a function takes about 350 seconds and has 12,500,000,000 times of method calls. Therefore, the number of calls to System.nanoTime() is: 12,500,000,000 * 2 = 25,000,000,000 (one for start timestamp, one for end timestamp) And the overhead of System.nanoTime in total is: 500 ns * 25,000,000,000 = 500 * 25000 s = 12500000s. Note: all data from real case. Any better way to acquire the timestamp?

  On the MSDN site there is an example of some C# code that shows how to make a web request with POST'ed data.   Well, when I'm trying to use 'inclusion' in Django, I met some confused problems that I can't solve it by myself. There is the structures for my project. MyProject--- App1--- __init__.py models.py test.py urls.py views.py App2--- ... template--- App1--- some htmls App2--- ... templatetags--- __init__.py inclusion_test.py manage.py urls.py __init__.py settings.py I have registered templatetags folder in the settings.py (Both in Installed APPS & TEMPLATE_DIRS). But when I want to use {% load inclusion_test %} in my html, it raise an exception like this: 'inclusion_cld_tags' is not a valid tag library: Could not load template library from django.templatetags.inclusion_cld_tags, No module named inclusion_cld_tags I think there is nothing wrong with my import work, how can I do with that? • What causes subprocess.call to output blank file when attempting db export with mysqldump?

  I am having some problems using subprocess.call to export a database using mysqldump. I'm using Python 3.1 installed on Windows 7. from time import gmtime, strftime import subprocess DumpDir = "c:/apps/sqlbackup/"; DumpFile = "mysqldump-" + strftime("%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M-%S", gmtime()) + ".sql"; params = [r"mysqldump --user root --password=mypassword --force --flush-privileges --compress --comments mydatabase --result-file=" + DumpDir + DumpFile]; subprocess.call(params, shell=True); The above code causes a blank file to be created in the DumpDir. I've tried getting python to print the command so I can test it via the CMD prompt using: print(subprocess.list2cmdline(params)); If I paste the output to the CMD prompt and execute it, everything works fine. Any ideas? I'm new to Python, so I am sure the answer is simple but I've tried so many variations to get this working that I just can't figure this out.

• How to stop an Android Service ONLY when there are no other activities in my app running?

  Is there a way I can test if there are any other activities in my app still alive? I am looking to stop a service in an onDestroy method, but only want to do this if there are no other activities from my app still alive on the stack. I have the call stop the service in the main activity's onDestroy() method. This works perfect EXCEPT that if a user launches my app, then launches a few activities in my app, then hits the home screen and RELAUNCHES my app, they will subvert my order and the main activity will now be above other activities of my app. From this state, if they hit the back button and 'back out' of my home screen they will trigger the onDestroy() method and kill the service even though there are other activities open on the stack. I want to avoid this by stopping the service ONLY if I am sure there are no other activities of mine open on the stack. Possible?

  I am parsing using a pretty large grammar (1.1 GB, it's data-oriented parsing). The parser I use (bitpar) is said to be optimized for highly ambiguous grammars. I'm getting this error: 1terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' what(): St9bad_alloc dotest.sh: line 11: 16686 Aborted bitpar -p -b 1 -s top -u unknownwordsm -w pos.dfsa /tmp/gsyntax.pcfg /tmp/gsyntax.lex arbobanko.test arbobanko.results Is there hope? Does it mean that it has ran out of memory? It uses about 15 GB before it crashes. The machine I'm using has 32 GB of RAM, plus swap as well. It crashes before outputting a single parse tree. The parser is an efficient CYK chart parser using bit vector representations; I presume it is already near the limit of memory efficiency. If it really requires too much memory I could sample from the grammar rules, but this will decrease parse accuracy of course.

The mock I am trying to define is: ArrayList<String> mocked = mock(ArrayList.class); which gives a [unchecked] unchecked conversion" warning. ArrayList<String> mocked = mock(ArrayList<String>.class); gives me an error. Anyone care to enlighten me as to what I am doing wrong?

• RegEx/Javascript validation: Don't allow comma as a valid character

  I'm doing Javascript validation on my number fields. I'm using RegEx to do this - first time RegEx user. I need the user to only enter numbers and decimals, but not commas. (i.e. 3600.00 is okay, but 3,600.00 is not). I can't figure out how to eliminate the commas as an accepted character. Any help is appreciated.
