  • Xpages - Get number of active sessions

    - by Jairo
How do I get the number of active sessions in Xpage. I'm trying to use managed beans but it just returns a weird string. Here's the simple code: import javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionEvent; import javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionListener; public class SessionCounterListener implements HttpSessionListener { private static int totalActiveSessions; public static int getTotalActiveSessions(){ return totalActiveSessions | 0; } public void sessionCreated(HttpSessionEvent arg0) { totalActiveSessions++; System.out.println("sessionCreated - add one session into counter"); } public void sessionDestroyed(HttpSessionEvent arg0) { totalActiveSessions--; System.out.println("sessionDestroyed - deduct one session from counter"); } } I got this from here. But when I call SessionCounterListener.getTotalActiveSessions(), it only returns a weird string, example com.gs3.beans.SessionCounterListener@46c446c4. Please help me. Thanks a lot!

  • Using Apache Camel how do I unmarshal my deserialized object that comes in through a CXF Endpoint?

    - by ScArcher2
    I have a very simple camel route. It starts with a CXF Endpoint exposed as a web service. I then want to convert it to xml and call a method on a bean. Currently i'm getting a CXF specific object after the web service call. How do I take my serialized object out of the CXF MessageList and use it going forward? My Route: <camel:route> <camel:from uri="cxf:bean:helloEndpoint" /> <camel:marshal ref="xstream-utf8" /> <camel:to uri="bean:hello?method=hello"/> </camel:route> The XML Serialized Message: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <org.apache.cxf.message.MessageContentsList serialization="custom"> <unserializable-parents /> <list> <default> <size>1</size> </default> <int>6</int> <com.whatever.Person> <firstName>Joe</firstName> <middleName></middleName> <lastName>Buddah</lastName> <dateOfBirth>2010-04-13 12:09:00.137 CDT</dateOfBirth> </com.whatever.Person> </list> </org.apache.cxf.message.MessageContentsList> I would expect the XML to be more like this: <com.whatever.Person> <firstName>Joe</firstName> <middleName></middleName> <lastName>Buddah</lastName> <dateOfBirth>2010-04-13 12:09:00.137 CDT</dateOfBirth> </com.whatever.Person>

  • Swipe gestures on Android ListView items

    - by Bartek
I have a ListView populated by a ResourceCursorAdapter. I use the loaders mechanism to query a ContentProvider for list items. I detect swipe gestures on the list items to perform some actions on them. New items get added by a background service, so the list can change dynamically. Everything works fine, except when I start swiping and a database change occurs (as a result of the background service adding a new row). In such case the gesture is not detected properly. I noticed that ACTION_CANCEL is dispatched to the list item view and also that bindView is executed for all visible items. Inside the bindView method I only set some text - I don't change any listeners there. How can I make gestures work even when new items are being added by the background service? Perhaps there's a way to prevent the motion from being cancelled or I can pause database updates so they don't interrupt the gesture.

  • convert ArrayList.toString() back to ArrayList in one call

    - by dotnetnewbie
I have a toString() representation of an ArrayList. Copying the toString() value to clipboard, I want to copy it back into my IDE editor, and create the ArrayList instance in one line. In fact, what I'm really doing is this: my ArrayList.toString() has data I need to setup a unit test. I want to copy this ArrayList.toString() into my editor to build a test against this edge case I don't want to parse anything by hand My input looks like this: [15.82, 15.870000000000001, 15.92, 16.32, 16.32, 16.32, 16.32, 17.05, 17.05, 17.05, 17.05, 18.29, 18.29, 19.16] The following do not work: Arrays.asList() google collections Lists.newArrayList() Suggestions?

  • Blackberry: How to properly handle focus traversal in custom field?

    - by DaveJohnston
I am writing an app for Blackberry and I have the following problem: I have implemented a custom field by extending the Manager class. The field is quite simple, it consists of a label and two check boxes, yes and no. The fields are laid out so that the label is on the left and uses as much space as it can while still allowing room for the check boxes which are positioned next to each other at the right and vertically centred compared to the label (if it spans more than one line). So it looks like this: This is a question? O Yes O No Everything is fine so far in terms of laying out the fields. But now I am trying to handle focus traversal. First of all the default behaviour when the user scrolls up or down is to move between the yes and no options. I want to move to the next field above or below when up or down is pressed, so I did this: protected int moveFocus(int amount, int status, int time) { if (status == 537001984 || status == -1610481664) { // Up or down was pressed // Don't move focus between yes and no when up or down is pressed. return amount; } return super.moveFocus(amount, status, time); } And that seems to work. The next thing I would like to do is to remember which option last had the focus when the field loses focus, then on gaining focus again (regardless of which direction the focus comes from) set this field to have the focus. I tried overriding onUnfocus and onFocus so that onUnfocus I note which field was focussed then onFocus setFocus to that field. But I get a StackOverflowError, I guess because the call to setFocus on a field within the manager actually calls onFocus for the manager itself again?? So does anyone know how I should be doing this? I checked the DateField and it has the exact behaviour I am looking for, i.e. it remembers if you were last on the day, month or year field and sets this field to focus when the field itself gets the focus.

  • Difference between weblogic and websphere?

    - by Abhishek Jain
I do not find actual difference between these two J2EE server. From my past experience, I found out following: WL is evolving more faster than WAS. WL is more user friendly than WAS. To simply deploy a application in WAS, we need to go in deep and its difficult to find if u are new to it. I found out that WAS is slower in some machine than WL. I found out that Classloading is easier to understand and effective in WL than WAS Above all are my experiences but not actual facts. I want to know more in this respect. Please clear my doubts. If possible please provide each J2EE server's pros and cons. -Abhishek

  • XPath to find ancestor node containing CSS class

    - by Juan Mendes
I am writing some Selenium tests and I need to be able to find an ancestor of a WebElement that I have already found. This is what I'm trying but is returning no results // checkbox is also a WebElement WebElement container = checkbox.findElement(By.xpath( "current()/ancestor-or-self::div[contains(@class, 'x-grid-view')]") ); The image below shows the div that I have selected highlighted in dark blue and the one I want to find with an arrow pointing at it. • Is this valid EJB-QL?

    - by Yishai
I have the following construct in EJB-QL several EJB 2.1 finder methods: SELECT distinct OBJECT(rd) FROM RequestDetail rd, DetailResponse dr WHERE dr.updateReqResponseParentID is not null and dr.updateReqResponseParentID = ?1 and rd.requestDetailID = dr.requestDetailID and rd.deleted is null and dr.deleted is null IDEA's EJB-QL inspection flags the use of the two object FROM RequestDetail rd, DetailResponse dr with an inspection which says: Several ranged variable declarations are not supported, use collection member declarations instead (e.g. IN(o.lineItems)) The queries themselves function fine (as in return the expected results) on JBoss 4.2. Is IDEA all wet here, or is there a valid issue with the query? And what is the actual preferred alternative syntax for such a query?

  • SSL Certificate without host name in it

    - by Sinuhe
I have implemented a web service with server and client authentication using keytool. The problem is that this authentication doesn't work if I don't include the name of the host in it. For example: keytool -genkey -alias myAlias -keyalg RSA -keypass myPassword -storepass myPassword -keystore my.keystore -dname "CN=myhost" But I don't need and I don't like validation by host or by IP. Is there any way of avoiding it? Thanks.

  • How to paint fully transparent pixels/points in P2D mode?

    - by netzwerg
According to the Processing Reference, stroke(gray, alpha) allows to set the color and opacity of the stroke. With the default color mode, an alpha value of 255 denotes full opacity, while a value of 0 should correspond to complete transparency. While this works with the (default) JAVA2D renderer, I can't seem to paint fully transparent points in P2D mode. This code clearly renders a pixel at the center of the canvas, even though the alpha value is set to 0 (fully transparent): public class Transparency extends PApplet { @Override public void setup() { size(200, 200, P2D); } @Override public void draw() { stroke(0, 0); point(width / 2, height / 2); } public static void main(String[] args) { PApplet.main(new String[] { Transparency.class.getSimpleName() }); } } What's wrong here?

  • Suggestions for GUI of a multiledia messaging application in J2ME

    - by awaghad-ashish
Hello everyone, We have developed a messaging application in j2me which adds text message, gets pictures from gallery and attaches them to the message etc and sends it over to a server after encryption, i.e. the client wants the messages to be encrypted. The app is ready but the only problem is that the GUI of the app looks miserable compared to the GUI of native messaging application on Nokia phones. Our GUI consists of a texfield for adding recipients i.e. the user clicks "options" to "add recipients" and is taken to a new form where contacts are shown. but the textfield is not in one line (like in case of native app). Also, we need the user to input the text message in a textField since we cannot have textbox inside a form (but the native app has a textbox as well as a textField ). Are there any ways to achieve such GUIs (one-line textfields, textbox like thing inside a form)? I hope you all understand what I mean, any kind of help will be appreciated. Thanks and regards, Ashish.

  • String replacement problem.

    - by fastcodejava
I want to provide some template for a code generator I am developing. A typical pattern for class is : public ${class_type} ${class_name} extends ${super_class} implements ${interfaces} { ${class_body} } Problem is if super_class is blank or interfaces. I replace extends ${super_class} with empty string. But I get extra spaces. So a class with no super_class and interfaces end up like : public class Foo { //see the extra spaces before {? ${class_body} } I know I can replace multiple spaces with single, but is there any better approach?

  • add JButton into frame with JTable

    - by Edan
hello, I would like to know how to put a button inside a frame that contain JTable inside. (The button should not be inside a cell, but after the table ends) Here is the example code I wrote so far: class SimpleTableExample extends JFrame { // Instance attributes used in this example private JPanel topPanel; private JTable table; private JScrollPane scrollPane; private JButton update_Button; // Constructor of main frame public SimpleTableExample() { // Set the frame characteristics setTitle("Add new item" ); setSize(300, 200); setBackground( Color.gray ); // Create a panel to hold all other components topPanel = new JPanel(); topPanel.setLayout( new BorderLayout() ); getContentPane().add( topPanel ); // Create columns names String columnNames[] = {"Item Description", "Item Type", "Item Price"}; // Create some data String dataValues[][] = {{ "0", "Entree", "0" }}; // Create a new table instance table = new JTable( dataValues, columnNames ); //////////////////////////// JComboBox item_Type_Combobox = new JComboBox(); item_Type_Combobox = new JComboBox(item_Type.values()); TableColumn column = table.getColumnModel().getColumn(1); column.setCellEditor(new DefaultCellEditor(item_Type_Combobox)); //////////////////////////// // Add the table to a scrolling pane scrollPane = new JScrollPane( table ); topPanel.add( scrollPane, BorderLayout.CENTER ); } } How do I add button after the table I created? thanks in advance

  • JMenuBar dropping down to a "custom" JPanel and "erased"

    - by Jani
The JMenuItems of JMenuBar drops down to a JPanel added to the JFrame, but the JPanel erases the JMenuItems. Do I supposed to pause the re-drawing of the JPanel? I'm using getGraphics() on the JPanel for drawing an image, this method is called from a thread with (for example) 200 ms delay. edit: It's a (very simple) game inside the JPanel. (I've added a field "paused" to the JPanel and i've edited the paint method so it repaints the JPanel only if paused is false, however I don't know if this "solution" is good. (It's set to true when the user clicks on a menu and set to false when selects or cancels it.)

  • Fonts, goes back to default size

    - by Bladimir Ruiz
    Every time I change the font, it goes back to the default size, which is 12, even if I change it before with the "Tamano" menu, it only goes back to 12 every time, my guess would be the way I change the size with deriveFont(), but don't I now any other way to change it. public static class cambiar extends JFrame { public cambiar() { final Font aryal = new Font("Comic Sans MS", Font.PLAIN, 12); JFrame ventana = new JFrame("Cambios en el Texto!"); JPanel adentro = new JPanel(); final JLabel texto = new JLabel("Texto a Cambiar!"); texto.setFont(aryal); JMenuBar menu = new JMenuBar(); JMenu fuentes = new JMenu("Fuentes"); /* Elementos de Fuentes */ JMenuItem arial = new JMenuItem("Arial"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { Font arrrial = new Font("Arial", Font.PLAIN, 12); float tam = (float) texto.getFont().getSize(); String hola = String.valueOf(tam); texto.setFont(arrrial); texto.setFont(texto.getFont().deriveFont(tam)); } }); fuentes.add(arial); /* FIN Fuentes */ JMenu tamano = new JMenu("Tamano"); /* Elementos de Tamano */ JMenuItem font13 = new JMenuItem("13"); font13.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(texto.getFont().deriveFont(23.0f)); } }); JMenuItem font14 = new JMenuItem("14"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(aryal); } }); JMenuItem font15 = new JMenuItem("15"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(aryal); } }); JMenuItem font16 = new JMenuItem("16"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(aryal); } }); JMenuItem font17 = new JMenuItem("17"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(aryal); } }); JMenuItem font18 = new JMenuItem("18"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(aryal); } }); JMenuItem font19 = new JMenuItem("19"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(aryal); } }); JMenuItem font20 = new JMenuItem("20"); arial.addActionListener(new ActionListener() { public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) { texto.setFont(aryal); } }); tamano.add(font13); /* FIN tanano */ JMenu tipo = new JMenu("Tipo"); /* Elementos de tipo */ /* FIN tipo */ /* Elementos del JMENU */ menu.add(fuentes); menu.add(tamano); menu.add(tipo); /* FIN JMENU */ /* Elementos del JPanel */ adentro.add(menu); adentro.add(texto); /* FIN JPanel */ /* Elementos del JFRAME */ ventana.add(adentro); ventana.setVisible(true); ventana.setSize(250, 250); /* FIN JFRAME */ } } Thanks in Advance!

  • How to "escape" a whole String - an SQL query

    - by Ankur
When I add a relative path to an SQL query as a String all the \ get removed. I am trying to add the String ("pics\\"+onlyFile) and as you can see I have escaped the \ character so I don't understand why it is being removed. onlyFile is a variable containing a file name. The value of the "src" variable (the one I am discussing) just before the SQL statement is correct, hence it is something happening when it is added to the SQL query.
