• How to convert InnerText to InnerHtml in Webbrowser Control in C#?

  I'm working on a WYSIWYG editor with builtin spell checker Hunspell and online highlighting of misspelled words. I'm using Webbrowser control as a html handler. It's a way easy to spell check text than html in webbrowser control, but following this way I'm losing all html formatting. So the question is: is there any way to spell check body innertext and then convert it to body innerhtml with previous formatting? (with no use of HtmlAgilityPack or Majestic12 or SgmlReader or ZetaHtmlTidy). Thanks in advance.

  Hi When my users edits the Grid via RowEditor combo entries and checkboxes are annoying 1 Apple 2 Orange 3 Pear For instance with the combo above the user will select Orange then update - the Grid now instead of saying orange will display the number 2 - I would like it to show orange when a successful edit has been made. code for my combo editor : { allowBlank : false, displayField : 'team', editable : false, emptyText : 'Select Team', forceSelection : true, lazyRender : true, mode : 'remote', name : 'team', store : storeTeam, triggerAction : 'all', valueField : 'id', xtype : 'combo' } I think I read that you could send the complete row back to insert or I should listen to the update of the grid and then change the field but I need some guidance on what is best Cheers

• WAMP Apache 403 Forbidden error

  I have recently changed from Windows XP to Windows 7 and have reinstalled WAMP server on my localhost testing pc. I have copied over my backup site too and this is working correctly. I have installed tinyMCE javascript editor as well as ajaxfilemanager. Everything works except when accessing a file i get the following error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /catalog/admin/includes/javascript/tinymce/plugins/ajaxfilemanager/ajaxfilemanager.php on this server. I can access this file/folder through Windows explorer and all other parts of my site works (php, js in other section etc). Thanks for any help!

• Visual Studio 2008 - syntax-highlighting and intellisense not working for aspx, js, css

  Hello all, I'm having problems with Visual Studio 2008, namely, syntax-highlighting and intellisense for *.aspx, *.js and *.css files (and maybe more) not working. Also, when I go to Tools - Options... - Text editor - HTML - Format, I see this error message: "An error occurred loading this property page" Everything was working fine before, until recently. The only change that might have possibly triggered this (but I am not 100% sure whether it stopped working at that exact time or some other time) was a change of the display language in my Windows 7 installation. I have already tried running: devenv /Setup devenv /ResetSkipPkgs devenv /ResetSettings ...none of which helped. Also, setting my default system font to Tahoma, which was a suggestion I found somewhere else, did not work for me (it was Tahoma before, since I use the Windows Classic theme). Thank you very much for your suggestions.

What exactly I want to do is in the datagridtemplatecolumn for others I want to display the usernames that are not in CurrentUsername, but they have the same program Id as the CurrentUsername. Please do let me know if there is another way that i can make this work, instead of using a dependencyproperty, althouht for testing I did put a textblock below datagrid, and it works perfectly fine..   Greetings, I have a problem to use selected value propriety of CascadingDropDown. I have 3 asp dropdown controls with ajax CascadingDropDown for each one of them. I have no problem to bind data to the 3 CascadingDropDown but my problem is to rebind CascadingDropDown. simply what I want to do is to select a record from Gridview which has the selected values for the CascadingDropDown that I want to pass then rebind the CascadingDropDown with selected value. I'm posting my code down which include: 1-ASP.NET code. 2-Code behind to handle selected record from grid view. 3- web servisice that handle binding data to the 3 CascadingDropDown. please advice how to rebind data to CascadingDropDown with selected value. by the way I used selected value proprety as showning in my code but it is not working and there is no error.   Hi I've developed a custom widget (a persian calendar consist of a base textbox & image widget on a gwt grid which look likes smartgwt calendar) & putted it in a CanvasItem because i want to add it as a filter editor for a listGrid : ListGridField regDateTimeField = new ListGridField("regDateTime", ????? ? ????", 120"); regDateTimeField.setFilterEditorType(new PersianCalendarItem()); now list grid displays it successfully, but when i click on filter button, nothing happend even when it value changes. I think i have to override some canvas item methods to return internal textbox value, but i don't know how should i do this ???

The print program takes a PCL Mask and a PCL Batch Spool File (just pcl with page turn commands, I think) merges them and sends them off to the printer. I'm able to send to the Printer a file stream of PCL but I get mixed results and i do not understand why printing is so difficult under .net. I mean yes there is the PrintDocument class, but to print PCL... Let's just say I'm ready to detach my printer from the network and burn it a live. • Telerik RadEditor for MOSS - How do I suppress min-width inline CSS?

  I'm having an issue with the RadEditor for MOSS, I'm really baffled as to the source of this issue. I tried using Firebug to find where any min-* CSS settings are happening and search came up empty, but I know it's happening because the downloaded page markup does not have that inline CSS. I believe that one of the Telerik control emitted Javascripts is what is adding inline CSS style to the top level div of the editor, namely min-height, min-width. This is causing layout issues on my page.   Are there enums available in the .NET framework that have values for build flavor (Debug, Release) and build platform (Any CPU, x86, x64 etc)? I haven't been able to find anything on MSDN or Google. It seems unnecessarily cumbersome to create my own. For context: I'm creating a custom TFS2010 workflow activity that requires flavor and platform info. Currently these are entered in the build definition as free-from strings. The default TFS build template has a dialog box (accessible in the build definition editor under Process\1.Required\Items to Build\Configurations to Build) that provides drop-down menus with this info pre-populated. I'd like to do something similar.

• Netbeans - *Easy* way to tell which Netbeans project a file belongs to

  I was wondering if there is a way in Netbeans (v 6.8, or whatever) to have the editor tabs colored based on which project the file belongs to? Or some other easy way to distinguish which project a file belongs to. Basically my problem is that I have 3-4 netbeans projects, which all have a very similar code base (production version, staging version, development version 1, development version 2), and sometimes I have files open from a few different projects, and I get confused as to which project the file belongs to. And I know that you can hover over the tab and you can see which project it belongs to, but it would be fantastic if there was another, easier way to visually distinguish which project a file belongs to.

• Can I turn off context menu scrolling in VS2010?

  When I right-click in the middle of a code editor window in Visual Studio 2010 RTM, a context menu appears. This takes up about a fourth the height of the screen but doesn't show all options. Instead it scrolls up and down when you move the pointer to the top or bottom of the menu. If I click near the top or bottom of the screen, the menu is normal and doesn't scroll. Can I turn this behavior off? It's stupid. You can't even scroll using the mouse wheel. EDIT I reckon this might just be a bug - I've found a few.

• Can I create a custom plist structure definition?

  When editing plist files in XCode, it can detect the type of plist and show human-readable strings to make it more easy to edit the file. The Info.plist, for example. Thanks to This question, I found the (or a) place where it stores that structure definition, as InfoPlistStructDefs.xcodeplugin. If I put my own file in there, however, nothing interesting happens. That is, it doesn't show up in the list of possible property list types. So does anybody know how to make XCode or the external property list editor application recognize a custom plist structure definition?

• umbraco tiny MCE 3 internet explorer insert link error

  Hi, I have an instalation of Umbraco 4.0.2.1. In internet explorer (6 / 7) i get an error when trying to insert a link using the tiny MCE rich text editor. basicaly what happens is i can choose the node in the site i want to link to but when i click insert it reloads but the tiny MCE popup does not dissapear and i get the following page error. Line: 368 Char: 9 Error: 'the Form._SCROLLPOSITIONX.value' is null or not an object code: 0 URL: "mydev server"/umbraco/plugins/tinymce3/insertLink.aspx I dont get this problem in Firefox and i have other instalations of umbraco 4.0.2.1 in which this error does not occur. I have tried using WinMerge to comparing the code of the two instalations and they seem identical in all the places i can think would have an effect on tinyMCE ("bin", "umbraco_client\tinymce3", "umbraco\plugins\tinymce3") I am pulling my hair out over this and any help would be very much appreciated.

• Do I need to use any other attributes other than CssClassProperty to enabled design-time support?

  Hi, I'm trying to provide the same design-time support that the CssClass provides on some custom properties of a server control. The documentation suggests that decorating the property with the CssClassProperty is all that's required. [CssClassProperty] public string SomeOtherCssClass{get;set;} This has no effect, in vs2008 or vs2010. I've looked at the WebControl class using reflector and implemented all the attributes, and every combination thereof, to my property and still no class dropdown. Some blog posts suggest that the use of the Editor attribute but a) there's not mention of it in the documentation and b) none of editors which are remotely related to css classes have any effect either. I have code that I want to run once this file is loaded. I essentially want to specify a callback function, but there is no mention of this in the documentation for the plugin. Any ideas? I would be up for adding the functionality if it is not there but I cannot find an uncompressed version of the plugin.

Saving files during a build is dangerous and may result in incorrect build outputs in the future. Continue with save? The other members on my team seems to be doing just fine, but I can't get past this point (I can if I click 'Continue' which then generate the file just fine but I'm reluclant to do so). There must be some setup or similar that I'm missing here... PS: I'm currently on WinXP and WCF RIA Service beta

• Does Sandcastle support Entity Framework Partial Classes?

  I am attempting to use Sandcastle (and Sandcastle Help File Builder) to do some "auto-documentation" of some classes I am using. The classes that are giving me trouble are some partial classes on Entity Framework items that add methods and properties to those Framework items. The triple slash comments don't appear to come through on the methods and properties created in the partial classes. I have out how to get xml documentation of the base properties using the short summary and long description fields on the .emdx editor, but that doesn't provide a solution for the items in the partial classes. Is this possible? Is it perhaps just settings that I'm not setting correctly to pick up the partial classes? Does Sandcastle do partial classes in non-Entity Framework settings? Is what I'm doing even possible (has anyone else successfully used the xml created from triple slash comments to create documentation on entity framework partial classes, and if so how did you do that)? Any assistance is appreciated

• JMF Registry could not add item (Vista)

  Hello, I'm using JMF to capture video stream (webcam) on my Java project. The camera I'm using is recognized by JMF (JFMStudio) and I manage to get the video stream. However, on JMF Registry Editor - there's a list of available capture devices, when I click "Add" on one of the items (including the one I need) I get a "Could not add item" error. Therefore this camera is not set in the registry of it (god know where) and later on it is not recognized by my project: RGBFormat fmt = new RGBFormat(); // could be YUV - doesn't matter Vector v = CaptureDeviceManager.getDeviceList(fmt); v is empty (while I know the video source is recognized by Java , since I manage to get video on JMF Studio). Now, this happens only on Vista (where else) and not on XP. I have a suspiction that somehow Vista security blocks Java from writing the registry file, but of course, I might be wrong. One more comments: this is vfw:Microsoft WDM Image Capture(Win32):0 device. Any idea ?

  Why is Wordpress autoformatting my html? It keeps breaking my html code by adding <br>'s and <p>'s everywhere. I mean ffs, it even adds them around html comments. And forget javascript - it adds <div> tags around every line. How can I make it stop? Note: I only want to disable this for a specific page, and the issue is only occuring when editing html using the html content editor within the admin panel.

• Copying Pasting Word 2007 docs to HTML WYSIWYG editors

  Microsoft word has a ton of proprietary formatting and styles that do not translate well to html WYSIWYG editors. When you paste them over to the html editor and try to edit the pasted info it causes all kinds of clashing styles. I want to be able to keep the general structure but leave out the proprietary stuff. Essentially I want to save clients the headache of having to completely strip out all formatting forcing them to redo all the styling again in the WYSIWYG, but at the same time avoid the conflicts that Word formatting creates. Any ideas?
