  • Play video while downloading into local disk [AIR]

    Hello guys, Using NetStream, I can create progressive video player. But can I save the downloaded chunk to my local disk in AIR?? My first idea is that, download part of file into local disk, let NetStream pointing to that file, and then appends the chunks to that file (FileMode.APPEND) periodically. But it does not work and seems that NetStream would 'lock' the file preventing write operation. Any ideas?

He said : we do this for better performance. and I am always thinking, so why microsoft create them???     Hi guys, I'm trying to instanciate a constant NSString by concatanating other NSString instances. Here is what I'm doing in my implementation file : static NSString *const MY_CONST = @"TEST"; static NSString *const MY_CONCATENATE_CONST = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"STRING %@", MY_CONST]; It leads to the following compilation error : Initializer element is not constant I suppose this is because stringWithFormat doesn't return a constant NSString, but since there is no other way to concatenate strings in Obj-C, what am I supposed to do ? I have a repo in /mnt/apps/repos and I would like to do a hook which will update/export everything to /mnt/apps/dev/repos folder but when running: #/usr/bin/svn update /mnt/apps/dev/repos I am getting error: Skipped '/mnt/webapps/dev/repos' when run #usr/bin/svn export /mnt/apps/dev/repos I am getting: svn: '/mnt/webapps/dev/repos' is not a working copy how to add /mnt/webapps/dev/repos as a working copy for all files from repo DB? please help

    I've happily implemented v2 of Google maps to my site without a hitch, I also successfully perform a drive directions using GDirections.load(). What I need to do is stop the popup of the mini map when you select a particular step in the routing directions. So when the user clicks on say "step 3", instead of the default popup showing a mini map, I'd like to add a custom icon to that position. Hope it makes sense Thanks in advance guys.

    Hi Guys, we need to evaluate a value in an object in run time while we have a textual statement of the exact member path for example: myobject.firstMember.secondMember[3].text we thought of parsing this textual statement using regex and then evaluate the text value by using reflection but before we do that i wonder if C# support some kind of eval ability? so we won't have to do the parsing ourself.
