Likewise I am thinking of the pattern as $pattern = '/(?<= IF (NEW.)[^ !]+/'; I am matching it as $input = $row4['ACTION_STATEMENT']; preg_match_all($pattern, $input, $captures); What if I want $captures as an array, in which all values will be stored which will match with above pattern being in between of this pattern?

  • LVM / Device Mapper maps wrong device

    Hi, I run a LVM setup on a raid1 created by mdadm. md2 is based on sda6 (major:minor 8:6) and sdb6 (8:22). md2 is partition 9:2. The VG on top of md2 has 4 LVs, var, home, usr, tmp. First the problem: While booting it seems as if the device mapper takes the wrong partition for the mapping!   • Why does Visual Studio 2010 throw this error with Boost 1.42.0?

    I'm trying to recompile application, that compiles fine with warning level 4 in visual studio 2005 and visual studio 2008. Since the errors (look below) are coming from std:tr1, I'm thinking there's some conflict, but not sure how to fix. My first thought was to remove all references to boost, such as but then I get an error that it can't find format method.     There are a lot of impressive Boost libraries such as Boost.Lambda or Boost.Phoenix which go a long way towards making C++ into a truly functional language. But is there a straightforward way to create a composite function from any 2 or more arbitrary functions or functors? If I have: int f(int x) and int g(int x), I want to do something like f . g which would statically generate a new function object equivalent to f(g(x)). This seems to be possible through various techniques, such as those discussed here. Certainly, you can chain calls to boost::lambda::bind to create a composite functor. But is there anything in Boost which easily allows you to take any 2 or more functions or function objects and combine them to create a single composite functor, similar to how you would do it in a language like Haskell?

So far I've got 'v\d\d' which includes the v but ideally I'd like just the numeric part.     Putting a precompiled regex inside two different hashes referenced in a list: my @list = (); my $regex = qr/ABC/; push @list, { 'one' => $regex }; push @list, { 'two' => $regex }; use Data::Dumper; print Dumper(\@list); I'd expect: $VAR1 = [ { 'one' => qr/(?-xism:ABC)/ }, { 'two' => qr/(?-xism:ABC)/ } ]; But instead we get a circular reference: $VAR1 = [ { 'one' => qr/(?-xism:ABC)/ }, { 'two' => $VAR1->[0]{'one'} } ]; This will happen with indefinitely nested hash references and shallowly copied $regex. I'm assuming the basic reason is that precompiled regexes are actually references, and references inside the same list structure are compacted as an optimization (\$scalar behaves the same way). I don't entirely see the utility of doing this (presumably a reference to a reference has the same memory footprint), but maybe there's a reason based on the internal representation Is this the correct behavior? Can I stop it from happening? Aside from probably making GC more difficult, these circular structures create pretty serious headaches. For example, iterating over a list of queries that may sometimes contain the same regular expression will crash the MongoDB driver with a nasty segfault (see https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=58500)

    Let's say I have an arbitrary list of regexes (IList<Regex> lst; for example). Is there any way to find out which one matches first? Of course there is the straightforward solution of trying each one on the string and seeing which match has the lowest index, but this could be inefficient on long strings. Of course I can go back and pull the strings back out of each regex (Regex.ToString()) and concatenate them all together ("(regex1)|(regex2)|(regex3)"), but I find this to be an ugly solution, especially since it does not even indicate which regex was matched.
