  • Eclipse classpath does not update changes in Project Properties

    I am using Eclipse 3.4.1 Build M20080911-1700 I have tried to change the classpath directories for jar and the source directory using the Project Properties - Java Build Path - Libraries Tab or Source Tab. When I click OK button and then return to the properties page, my changes were not applied. I have to resort in the work around by manually changing the eclipse ".classpath" project settings file. Any ideas?

  • C# equivalent of the C++ custom project Wizard

    Hi., I have an existing wizard template created for VC++ from year back, ported to VS2008. It uses the custom wizard jscript/html templating system and DTE object. I've used this successfully for years, but now I want to create an entry for a standard C# project, I see there's no way to customise the C# project settings - the methods are for VC++ only. Is there something closely related to this for C# projects (or do I have to learn yet another way of creating a wizard for .net apps?)

    I am trying to use Eclipse to build some existing software (written in C), which is built with a Makefile. For this reason I created a 'Makefile project' in Eclipse. However, I just found out, the in the 'C/C++ Build / Settings' menu, I only see the 'Binary Parsers' and 'Error Parsers' tabs. However, I really need the 'Build Steps' tabs, because I also need to add a post-build command. How can I make the 'Build Steps' tab appear in my project?

  • Trying to update an MVC 1.0 project to MVC 2.0

    I'm trying to update my project to MVC 2.0 from MVC 1.0. I've removed the references for System.Web.MVC to the newer versions. I'm getting an exception from the HTTPContext which reads "CurrentNotification = 'HttpContext.Current.CurrentNotification' threw an exception of type 'System.PlatformNotSupportedException'". What other binaries do I need to update a reference to, to get my project to work again?

    Whenever I try to open a project (csproj) that's downloaded from the internet, most of the times, I get the "The project type is not supported by this installation" It appears that my Visual Studio installation is not corrupted (I can pretty much do everything with it other than open these csproj files) What may be causing this?

This is fine and good, but I really don't want it cluttering the MVC project since none of them will have controller actions. I tried to upload the war file generated but the application is not coming up on beanstalk. I would like to know if there is any existing documentation to deploy on beanstalk from maven.     Hi, I have an ASP.NET 3.5 website project, where I have added a few assemblies. When I look in the bin folder in visual studio there the references are not shown, but if I go to the references in the property pages for the website they are shown as GAC. Shouldn't dll's in GAC be shown under references for a website project in visual studio?

I thought I can compile only a single module from that multi module project by that line : mvn -amd -pl "module-name" Seems not to work , this command builds only the specific module. Its dependencies are not compiled yet so it fails. Any ideas how to solve that ? Thanks

I'd need something like what is done for updating softwares like Firefox or Acrobat Reader. Check a respository, warn user of an update, download and reconfigure. To access local IIS Web sites, you must install the following IIS components: IIS 6 Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration Compatibility In addition, you must run Visual Studio in the context of an administrator account. NOTE - I have already installed IIS 7. My box is a x64 bit Windows 7 box.

    There is a build / version number automatically increasing with Publish for ClickOnce applications. This version number is different from the assembly version in the project properties (which in turn is automatically displayed in a generated WPF about box). Is there a way to sync the ClickOnce version number and the project number in the assembly properties? Goal is to get an automatically increasing and identical version number for both places.

  • Unable to add PageFunction to my project.

    I add to my project a PageFunction and I get a dozen of the following error and the project won't compile: 'ResourceDictionary' root element is a generic type and requires a x:Class attribute to support the x:TypeArguments attribute specified on the root element tag. Basically I get an error for each DataTemplate I merge in the ResourceDictionary, has anyone encoutered this problem before? Note: I use VB.NET 3.5 on VS 2010.
