  • Why is Assembly.GetCustomAttributes suddenly throwing TypeLoadException on build machine with Silver

    - by andrej351
A short while back i had to display the current version of our Silverlight app. After some googling the following code gave me the desired result: var fileVersionAttributes = typeof(MyClass).Assembly. GetCustomAttributes(typeof(AssemblyFileVersionAttribute), false) as AssemblyFileVersionAttribute[]; var version = fileVersionAttributes[0].Version; This worked a treat in our .NET 3.5 Silverlight 3 environment. However, we recently upgraded to .NET 4 and Silverlight 4. We just finished getting our build machine working and found that the unit test for this code was throwing the following exception: Exception Message: System.TypeLoadException: Error 0x80131522. Debugging resource strings are unavailable. See http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=106663&Version=3.0.50106.0&File=mscorrc.dll&Key=0x80131522 at System.ModuleHandle.ResolveType(ModuleHandle module, Int32 typeToken, RuntimeTypeHandle* typeInstArgs, Int32 typeInstCount, RuntimeTypeHandle* methodInstArgs, Int32 methodInstCount) at System.ModuleHandle.ResolveTypeHandle(Int32 typeToken, RuntimeTypeHandle[] typeInstantiationContext, RuntimeTypeHandle[] methodInstantiationContext) at System.Reflection.Module.ResolveType(Int32 metadataToken, Type[] genericTypeArguments, Type[] genericMethodArguments) at System.Reflection.CustomAttribute.FilterCustomAttributeRecord(CustomAttributeRecord caRecord, MetadataImport scope, Assembly& lastAptcaOkAssembly, Module decoratedModule, MetadataToken decoratedToken, RuntimeType attributeFilterType, Boolean mustBeInheritable, Object[] attributes, IList derivedAttributes, RuntimeType& attributeType, RuntimeMethodHandle& ctor, Boolean& ctorHasParameters, Boolean& isVarArg) at System.Reflection.CustomAttribute.GetCustomAttributes(Module decoratedModule, Int32 decoratedMetadataToken, Int32 pcaCount, RuntimeType attributeFilterType, Boolean mustBeInheritable, IList derivedAttributes, Boolean isDecoratedTargetSecurityTransparent) at System.Reflection.CustomAttribute.GetCustomAttributes(Module decoratedModule, Int32 decoratedMetadataToken, Int32 pcaCount, RuntimeType attributeFilterType, Boolean isDecoratedTargetSecurityTransparent) at System.Reflection.CustomAttribute.GetCustomAttributes(Assembly assembly, Type caType) at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetCustomAttributes(Type attributeType, Boolean inherit) at MyCode.VersionTest() I have never seen this exception before and the link in it points nowhere. It is only throwing on the build machine and not on my development box, so i'm going through a process of trial and error to see any differences between the two. Any idea why this might be happening?? Cheers, Andrej.

  • Com server build using Python on 64-bit Windows 7 machine

    - by Vijayendra Bapte
Original post is here: http://mail.python.org/pipermail/python-win32/2010-December/011011.html I am using: OS: 64 bit Windows 7 Professional Python: python-2.7.1.amd64 Python win32 extensions: pywin32-214.win-amd64-py2.7 Py2exe: py2exe-0.6.9.win64-py2.7.amd64 I am trying to build icon overlay for Windows. It has worked fine on 32 bit Windows but not working on 64 bit Windows 7. Here are the Python modules I have created for testing: test_icon_overlay.py: ( http://mail.python.org/pipermail/python-win32/attachments/20101229/bb8c78a4/attachment-0002.obj ) com server created in Python for icon overlay which adds check mark overlay icon(C:\icons\test.ico) on "C:\icons" folder setup_VI.py: ( http://mail.python.org/pipermail/python-win32/attachments/20101229/bb8c78a4/attachment-0003.obj ) setup file which creates test_icon_overlay.dll for distribution. icons.zip: ( http://mail.python.org/pipermail/python-win32/attachments/20101229/bb8c78a4/attachment-0001.zip ) for testing you should extract icons.zip inside C:\ Icon overlay appears on C:\icons folder when I execute python test_icon_overlay.py on Windows command prompt and restarts explorer.exe. But its not working with the dll file created using setup_VI.py I have created dll file using python setup_VI.py py2exe and then tried to register it using regsvr32 test_icon_overlay.dll. Registration fails with windows error message Error 0x80040201 while registering shell extension. Then I turned on logger in Python27/Lib/site-packages/py2exe/boot_com_servers.py and here is the traceback which I am getting in comerror.txt on regsvr32 test_icon_overlay.dll PATH is ['C:\\root\\avalon\\module\\sync\\python\\src\\dist\\library.zip'] Traceback (most recent call last): File "boot_com_servers.py", line 37, in <module> pywintypes.error: (126, 'GetModuleFileName', 'The specified module could not be found.') Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> NameError: name 'DllRegisterServer' is not defined Looks like there might be a problem with win32api.GetModuleFileName(sys.frozendllhandle) or with the dll build on 64-bit Windows 7. Also, I saw that installation of pywin32-214.win-amd64-py2.7 on 64-bit Windows 7 finish with the error message: Snapshot close failed in file object destructor: sys.excepthook is missing lost sys.stderr Is there anything which I am doing wrong? Any help on this is highly appreciated.

  • noSQL/SQL/RoR: Trying to build scalable ratings table for the game

    - by alexeypro
I am trying to solve complex thing (as it looks to me). I have next entities: PLAYER (few of them, with names like "John", "Peter", etc.). Each has unique ID. For simplicity let's think it's their name. GAME (few of them, say named "Hide and Seek", "Jump and Run", etc.). Same - each has unique ID. For simplicity of the case let it be it's name for now. SCORE (it's numeric). So, how it works. Each PLAYER can play in multiple GAMES. He gets some SCORE in every GAME. I need to build rating table -- and not one! Table #1: most played GAMES Table #2: best PLAYERS in all games (say the total SCORE in every GAME). Table #3: best PLAYERS per GAME (by SCORE in particularly that GAME). I could be build something straight right away, but that will not work. I will have more than 10,000 players; and 15 games, which will grow for sure. Score can be as low as 0, and as high as 1,000,000 (not sure if higher is possible at this moment) for player in the game. So I really need some relative data. Any suggestions? I am planning to do it with SQL, but may be just using it for key-value storage; anything -- any ideas are welcome. Thank you!

  • Why do I get "file is not of required architecture" when I try to build my app on an iphone?

My app seemingly runs fine in the simulator but the first time I hooked a phone up to my system and had it build for it I got a huge error log with things like: Build SCCUI of project SCCUI with configuration Debug CompileXIB HandleAlert.xib cd /Users/gdbriggs/Desktop/SCCUI setenv IBC_MINIMUM_COMPATIBILITY_VERSION 3.1 setenv PATH "/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/usr/bin:/Developer/usr /bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin" /Developer/usr/bin/ibtool --errors --warnings --notices --output-format human-readable-text --compile /Users/gdbriggs/Desktop/SCCUI/build/Debug-iphoneos/SCCUI.app/HandleAlert.nib /Users/gdbriggs/Desktop/SCCUI/HandleAlert.xib /* com.apple.ibtool.document.warnings */ /Users/gdbriggs/Desktop/SCCUI/HandleAlert.xib:13: warning: UITextView does not support data detectors when the text view is editable. • d:DesignData issue, Visual Studio 2010 cant build after adding sample design data with Expression Bl

    - by Valko
Hi, VS 2010 solution and Silverlight project builds fine, then: I open MyView.xaml view in Expression Blend 4 Add sample data from class (I use my class defined in the same project) after I add new sample design data with Expression blend 4, everything looks fine, you see the added sample data in the EB 4 fine, you also see the data in VS 2010 designer too. Close the EB 4, and next VS 2010 build is giving me this errors: Error 7 XAML Namespace http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008 is not resolved. C:\Code\source\...myview.xaml and: Error 12 Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ... TestSampleData.xaml when I open the TestSampleData.xaml I see that namespace for my class used to define sample data is not recognized. However this namespace and the class itself exist in the same project! If I remove the design data from the MyView.xaml: d:DataContext="{d:DesignData /SampleData/TestSampleData.xaml}" it builds fine and the namespace in TestSampleData.xaml is recognized this time?? and then if add: d:DataContext="{d:DesignData /SampleData/TestSampleData.xaml}" I again see in the VS 2010 designer sample data, but the next build fails and again I see studio cant find the namespace in my TestSampleData.xaml containing sample data. That cycle is driving me crazy. Am I missing something here, is it not possible to have your class defining sample design data in the same project you have the MyView.xaml view?? cheers Valko

  • How to emulate "-lib foo.jar" from _within_ build.xml

    - by Thorbjørn Ravn Andersen
By specifying "-lib foo.jar" to ant I get the behaviour that the classes in foo.jar is added to the ant classloader and are available for various tasks taking a class name argument. I'd like to be able to specify the same behaviour but only from inside build.xml (so we can do this on a vanilla ant). For taskdefs we have functioning code looking like: <taskdef resource="net/sf/antcontrib/antlib.xml" description="for/foreach tasks"> <classpath> <pathelement location="${active.workspace}/ant-contrib-1.X/lib/ant-contrib.jar" /> </classpath> </taskdef> where the definition is completely provided from the ant-contrib.jar listed. What is the equivalent mechanism for the "global" ant classpath? (I have thought out that this is the way to get <javac> use ecj-3.5.jar to compile with on a JRE - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2364006/specifying-the-eclipse-compiler-completely-from-within-build-xml - in a way compatible with ant 1.7. Better suggestions are welcome :) EDIT: It appears that the about-to-be-released version 1.0 of ant4eclipse includes ecj. This does not answer the question, but may solve my basic problem.

  • iPhone: objc_class_name_TTTabStrip symbol not found build error

    - by user187532
Hello friends, I am trying to implement 'scrollview' effect in 'Tabbar' which has 'TabItems'. I found that the good example is from 'facebook' open source 'TTCatlog' project 'Tabs' section. So i included all the source from it to my project and trying to build it. I have followed the following links to go ahead on this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/822792/how-to-create-a-horizontal-scrolling-view-on-iphone source: http://github.com/facebook/three20/tree/master/samples/ My calling code is like below: _tabBar1 = [[TTTabStrip alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(10, 68, 300, 28)]; _tabBar1.tabItems = [NSArray arrayWithObjects: [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 1"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 2"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 3"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 4"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 5"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 6"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 7"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 8"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 9"] autorelease], [[[TTTabItem alloc] initWithTitle:@"Item 10"] autorelease], nil]; [self.navigationController.view addSubview:_tabBar1]; My project folder as like below: ..../iphone/MyProgram/MyProgram.xcodeproj ..../iphone/Three20/src/Three20.... In my project settings for header search path, I have ../Three20/src But when i try to build it, it throws the following error: "objc_class_name_TTTabStrip symbol not found" "objc_class_name_TTTabItem symbol not found" I see there, all these files (.h and .m) are availbale there. Could someone please help what's wrong there and how do i get rid of this issue and continue working with it?

  • Cruise Control.net Ms Build Task setting XML output Name

Is there an argument to the Logger that allows me to specify the name of the xml file?

  • symfony doctrine build-sql error

    - by user313571
I have some big problems with symfony and doctrine at the beginning of a new project. I have created database diagram with mysql workbench, inserted the sql into phpmyadmin and then I've tried symfony doctrine:build-schema to generate the YAML schema. It generates a wrong schema (relations don't have on delete/on update) and after this I've tried symfony doctrine:build --sql and symfony doctrine:insert-sql The insert-sql statement generates error (can't create table ... failing query alter table add constraint ....), so I've decided to take a look over the generated sql and I've found out some differences between the sql generated from mysql workbench (which works perfect, including relations) and the sql generated by doctrine. I'll be short from now: I have to tables, EVENT and FORM and a 1 to n relation (each event may have multiple forms) so the correct constraint (generated with workbench) is ALTER TABLE `form` ADD CONSTRAINT `fk_form_event1` FOREIGN KEY (`event_id`) REFERENCES `event` (`id`) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE; doctrine generated statement is: ALTER TABLE event ADD CONSTRAINT event_id_form_event_id FOREIGN KEY (id) REFERENCES form(event_id); It's totally reversed and I am sure here is the error. What should I do? It's also correct like this?

  • Build a Visual Studio Project without access to referenced dlls

    - by David Reis
I have a project which has a set of binary dependencies (assembly dlls for which I do no have the source code). At runtime those dependencies are required pre-installed on the machine and at compile time they are required in the source tree, e,g in a lib folder. As I'm also making source code available for this program I would like to enable a simple download and build experience for it. Unfortunately I cannot redistribute the dlls, and that complicates things, since VS wont link the project without access to the referenced dlls. Is there anyway to enable this project to be built and linked in absence of the real referenced dlls? Maybe theres a way to tell VS to link against an auto generated stub of the dll, so that it can rebuild without the original? Maybe there's a third party tool that will do this? Any clues or best practices at all in this area? I realize the person must have access to the dlls to run the code, so it makes sense that he could add them to the build process, but I'm just trying to save them the pain of collecting all the dlls and placing them in the lib folder manually.

  • Project builds skipped with Any CPU build platform

    - by JMarsch
All: We are using Visual Studio 2010, and we have recently upgraded our workstations to Windows 7/64-bit. I have a question: When I create a new solution, it seems to want to use the x86 platform. If I change the solution to "any cpu" and then I add a new project to the solution, the project will not have an "any cpu" build option, and it will be deselected from building (in configuration manager). Something seems wrong here. Here's what I want to have (assuming that it is supported): I want my solutions' platforms to default to "Any CPU" (I believe that means that at JIT time, the assembly will be either x86 or 64-bit, based on the machine that loaded it). When I add a new project to the solution, I want for it to have an "any cpu" solution, and I want for that projec to build by default. (basically, the same behavior that we had in VS 2008 on 32-bit workstations). How do I do that? Is there some additional thing that I need to know now that I am using a 64-bit workstation?

  • How to build a control programatically?

    - by W_K
I have custom control written in Java. For the sake of simplicity lets assume that it looks like this: public class HelloworldControl extends UIComponentBase { @Override public void decode(FacesContext context) { String cid = this.getClientId(context); ... super.decode(context); } @Override public void encodeBegin(FacesContext context) throws IOException { ResponseWriter writer = context.getResponseWriter(); writer.writeText("Hello world!", this); // I want a view!! } @Override public void encodeEnd(FacesContext context) throws IOException { ResponseWriter writer = context.getResponseWriter(); ... } public void restoreState(FacesContext context, Object state) { Object values[] = (Object[]) state; ... super.restoreState(context, values[0]); } public Object saveState(FacesContext context) { Object values[] = ... } } I would like to add programatically child control to it. For example I would like a child view control to render a view just under the Hellow world text. How can i do this? What is the standard procedure to build dynamically a control? To put it simply - I want programatically build a hierarchy of standard components and I want to attach it to my control.

  • Doing a virus check on a file from a build script

    - by the_mandrill
I would like to be be able to invoke a virus check as the final stage of the build process (please don't question why a dev machine would get a virus, it's just a belt-and-braces approach to avoid the risk of getting sued by customers...). Also I'd like the option of having AV on a machine but switching the auto file system protection off (at least for the build directories). What I would like is a generic way of scanning a file using whatever AV system is in place. I'm assuming that there's an Windows API to do this, given that Windows detects the presence of an AV system, and browsers such as Firefox invoke a virus scan whenever a file is downloaded. So what's the API that they're using? There's the Microsoft AntiVirus API but that seems to be specific to Office documents. Does the approach involve using WMI? (and if you can detect the AV provider from there, how do you then invoke it to scan a file?) I know that I could write the script to manually call the AV scanner that I know to be installed, but as an intellectual exercise I'm more interested to know how apps like Firefox are doing this.

  • Build system for multi-language project

    - by Epcylon
I am getting ready to embark on a project mainly for experimenting with languages, but also with a hint of usefulness. It will consist of a server-application, written in Erlang, and client-libraries in a number of languages. Initially I will want to write clients in Java, Ruby and Python. The actual protocol for communication will be Thrift. I'm looking for a build system that will allow me to build the server and all the client libraries in one go, running unit-tests in each language, then packaging up a releasable artifact of some sort in whatever way is the "standard" for each language. That means a Jar for Java, a RubyGem and a distribute/setuptools tarball for Python. Erlang probably has something too, but I'm not yet familiar with that. It should also be able to run the Thrift compiler to generate the various Thrift-stubs in each language. On the pad at the start is Maven. I'm fairly certain Maven can do all I need, but I fear it's too Java-centric, and leaves me with a ton of work for every new language I need to add.

  • Delphi 2009 MS Build headaches

    - by X-Ray
    does anyone know of any good description of delphi's build system? (i know it's using MS Build.) i'm using delphi 2009. i wanted to set up a variation of the Debug build configuration that (often) has different defines (d2009 seems to call them "preprocessor symbols"). the problem i'm having is that--even though i turned off "inherit" for "Base" and "Debug"--have only very limited control. for example, i can't get rid of FastMM_. <PropertyGroup> <ProjectGuid>{D7FE7347-8E2C-438C-A275-38B8DA9244B0}</ProjectGuid> <ProjectVersion>12.0</ProjectVersion> <MainSource>oca.dpr</MainSource> <Config Condition="'$(Config)'==''">Debug</Config> <DCC_DCCCompiler>DCC32</DCC_DCCCompiler> </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup Condition="'$(Config)'=='Base' or '$(Base)'!=''"> <Base>true</Base> </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup Condition="'$(Config)'=='Release' or '$(Cfg_1)'!=''"> <Cfg_1>true</Cfg_1> <CfgParent>Base</CfgParent> <Base>true</Base> </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup Condition="'$(Config)'=='Debug' or '$(Cfg_2)'!=''"> <Cfg_2>true</Cfg_2> <CfgParent>Base</CfgParent> <Base>true</Base> </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup Condition="'$(Base)'!=''"> <DCC_StringChecks>off</DCC_StringChecks> <DCC_MinimumEnumSize>4</DCC_MinimumEnumSize> <DCC_RangeChecking>true</DCC_RangeChecking> <DCC_IntegerOverflowCheck>true</DCC_IntegerOverflowCheck> <DCC_UNIT_PLATFORM>false</DCC_UNIT_PLATFORM> <DCC_SYMBOL_PLATFORM>false</DCC_SYMBOL_PLATFORM> <DCC_DcuOutput>.\dcu</DCC_DcuOutput> <DCC_UnitSearchPath>C:\Prj\Lib\AutoQADocking\Delphi2009.Win32\Lib;$(BDS)\Source\DUnit\src;$(DCC_UnitSearchPath)</DCC_UnitSearchPath> <DCC_Optimize>false</DCC_Optimize> <DCC_DependencyCheckOutputName>oca.exe</DCC_DependencyCheckOutputName> <DCC_ImageBase>00400000</DCC_ImageBase> <DCC_UnitAlias>WinTypes=Windows;WinProcs=Windows;DbiTypes=BDE;DbiProcs=BDE;DbiErrs=BDE;$(DCC_UnitAlias)</DCC_UnitAlias> <DCC_Platform>x86</DCC_Platform> <DCC_E>false</DCC_E> <DCC_N>false</DCC_N> <DCC_S>false</DCC_S> <DCC_F>false</DCC_F> <DCC_K>false</DCC_K> </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup Condition="'$(Cfg_1)'!=''"> <DCC_PentiumSafeDivide>true</DCC_PentiumSafeDivide> <DCC_Optimize>true</DCC_Optimize> <DCC_IntegerOverflowCheck>false</DCC_IntegerOverflowCheck> <BRCC_Defines>MadExcept;FastMM;$(BRCC_Defines)</BRCC_Defines> <DCC_AssertionsAtRuntime>false</DCC_AssertionsAtRuntime> <DCC_LocalDebugSymbols>false</DCC_LocalDebugSymbols> <DCC_Define>RELEASE;$(DCC_Define)</DCC_Define> <DCC_SymbolReferenceInfo>0</DCC_SymbolReferenceInfo> <DCC_DebugInformation>false</DCC_DebugInformation> </PropertyGroup> <PropertyGroup Condition="'$(Cfg_2)'!=''"> <DCC_DebugInfoInExe>true</DCC_DebugInfoInExe> <BRCC_Defines>FastMM</BRCC_Defines> <DCC_DebugDCUs>true</DCC_DebugDCUs> <DCC_MapFile>3</DCC_MapFile> <DCC_Define>DEBUG;FastMM_;madExcept;$(DCC_Define)</DCC_Define> </PropertyGroup> i even had to edit it today with notepad to get rid of a DCC define that the delphi UI doesn't seem to give access to. (it said "From Delphi Compiler" for the item i couldn't remove.) does anyone know a good primer on the use of this feature in delphi? thank you!

  • IIS6 Multiple SSL websites to a single HTTP website?

    - by docflabby
Running a IIS6 server on Windows 2003. All the websites use ASP.NET I have a number of websites all running separate HTTP websites: www.domain1.com www.domain2.com www.domain3.com I have a separate HTTPS website www.secure.com These websites are all running on the same server. I now wish to intergrate the content of www.secure.com into each of the domains in a transparent way. Such that each website despite having its own SSL connection displays the same website. The complicatrion is www.secure.com needs to know which website the connection has come from to apply the appropriate branding. The idea behind this is to have only one website, and location, but it keeps the core website brand. https://domain1.com looks alot better from a marketing point of view (and avoids users getting confused about what our secure website is) SSL www.domain1.com/secure - displays www.secure.com (branded domain1) SSL www.domain2.com/secure - displays www.secure.com (branded domain2) SSL www.domain3.com/secure - displays www.secure.com (branded domain3) How would the best way of achieving this, i'm open to using additional software if necessery. Would a reverse proxy be sutible for this situation?

  • Websites down EC2 inaccessible via SSH CPU utilisation 100% last few hours - what should I do?

    - by fuzzybee
I have multiple websites hosted on 1 single EC2 instance. 1 website "abc" were down for a few hours, sometimes threw database connection error and sometimes just took too long to respond. 1 website "def" were incredibly slow but still up and running the rest of the websites had the same symptoms has "abc" I can afford 15 min or less down time for "def". Should I then (in AWS console) reboot my instance or create an AMI image from my instance and launch it and associate my elastic IP to the new instance or "launch more like this" Background on what may have happened to my ec2 The last time I made changes for 21 hours ago. A cronjob to create snapshots ran around 19 hours ago and it has been running for a long time. Google Analytics shows traffic to my websites such as kidlander.sg has been nothing exceptional. Is there any other actions I should take or better options I could have? (I have already contacted AWS support but their turnaround is 12 hours so I appreciate all the help I could get) Update I got everything back up and running and CPU utilisation back to normal, around 30%. There is 1 difference between "def" and "abc" as well as my other websites "def"'s database is hosted on RDS "abc"'s database is hosted on an EC2 instance (different from my web server instance) configured by myself Nevertheless, I checked the EC2 instance I'm using as MySQL server yesterday and it was absolutely fine during the incident low CPU ultilisation I could log in using linux command line

    - by ajay
This is in relation to:- http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2576514/basic-tomcat-servlet-error I changed my web.xml file, did ant compile , all, /etc/init.d/tomcat stop , start Even then my web.xml file in tomcat deployment is still unchanged. This is build.properties file:- app.name=hello catalina.home=/usr/local/tomcat manager.username=admin manager.password=admin This is my build.xml file. • NAnt or TFS build which is better?

    - by Leszek Wachowicz
There was a question about Msbuild and NAnt advantages and disadvantages. Now let's see which is better TFS Build(with msbuild) or NAnt. In my opinion NAnt because you can easily move the building environment in few seconds to another machine (depends on copying files), also it's easier to manage, much faster to debug and it's not integrated with Team Foundation Server, what do You think?

  • Environment variable retrieve from NAnt script is not recognize in Jenkins nant build step

    - by user1670340
In my nant script I retrieve my environment variable in this way: but when I run it through jenkins using nant as build step I got an error like this. Expression: ${environment::get-variable('MAIN_PROJECT_PATH')} ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Environment variable "MAIN_PROJECT_PATH" does not exist. Is there configuration for this? so that Jenkins will recognize environment variables access by my nant script? Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
