  • System Error when running PyQt4's loadUi()

    - by user633804
Hello, I'm pretty new to Qt, Python and their combinations. I'm currently writing a QGIS plugin in python (I used QtCreator 2.1 (Qt Designer 4.7) to generate a .ui-file and am now trying to use it for a Quantum GIS plugin that's written in Python 2.5 (and running in the Quantum GIS Python 2.5 console)). I am running into trouble when loading the ui-file dynamically when the program runs the loadUi() function. What throws me off is that the error occurs outside my script. Does that mean, I'm passing something wrong into it? Where does the error come in? Any hints on what could be wrong? code_dir = os.path.dirname(os.path.abspath(__file__)) self.ui = loadUi(os.path.join(code_dir, "Ui_myfile.ui"), self) This is the Error Code I am getting (minus the first paragraph): File "C:/Dokumente und Einstellungen/name.name/.qgis/python/plugins\myfile\myfile_gui.py", line 42, in __ init __ self.ui = loadUi(os.path.join(code_dir, "Ui_myfile.ui"), self) File "C:\PROGRA~1\QUANTU~1\apps\Python25\lib\site-packages\PyQt4\uic__init__.py", line 112, in loadUi return DynamicUILoader().loadUi(uifile, baseinstance) File "C:\PROGRA~1\QUANTU~1\apps\Python25\lib\site-packages\PyQt4\uic\Loader\loader.py", line 21, in loadUi return self.parse(filename) File "C:\PROGRA~1\QUANTU~1\apps\Python25\lib\site-packages\PyQt4\uic\uiparser.py", line 768, in parse actor(elem) File "C:\PROGRA~1\QUANTU~1\apps\Python25\lib\site-packages\PyQt4\uic\uiparser.py", line 616, in createUserInterface self.traverseWidgetTree(elem) File "C:\PROGRA~1\QUANTU~1\apps\Python25\lib\site-packages\PyQt4\uic\uiparser.py", line 594, in traverseWidgetTree handler(self, child) File "C:\PROGRA~1\QUANTU~1\apps\Python25\lib\site-packages\PyQt4\uic\uiparser.py", line 233, in createWidget topwidget.setCentralWidget(widget) SystemError: error return without exception set

  • C++ reference variables

    - by avd
I have these two functions (with Point2D & LineVector (has 2 Point2D member variables) classes and SQUARE macro predefined) inline float distance(const Point2D &p1,const Point2D &p2) { return sqrt(SQUARE(p2.getX()-p1.getX())+SQUARE(p2.getY()-p1.getY())); } inline float maxDistance(const LineVector &lv1,const LineVector &lv2) { return max(distance(lv1.p1,lv2.p2),distance(lv1.p2,lv2.p1)); } but it gives compilation error in maxDistance() function (line 238) saying: /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/include/c++/bits/stl_iterator_base_types.h: In instantiation of `std::iterator_traits<Point2D>': quadrilateral.cpp:238: instantiated from here /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/include/c++/bits/stl_iterator_base_types.h:129: error: no type named `iterator_category' in `class Point2D' /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/include/c++/bits/stl_iterator_base_types.h:130: error: no type named `value_type' in `class Point2D ' /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/include/c++/bits/stl_iterator_base_types.h:131: error: no type named `difference_type' in `class Point2D' /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/include/c++/bits/stl_iterator_base_types.h:132: error: no type named `pointer' in `class Point2D' /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/include/c++/bits/stl_iterator_base_types.h:133: error: no type named `reference' in `class Point2D' Please suggest what is the error?

  • gcc segmentation fault on Ubuntu 12.04

    - by Yuval F
I am trying to compile a C program on Ubuntu precise 12.04. Here's the program: #include <stdio.h> int main(int argc, char** argv) { printf("Hello World!"); return 0; } My gcc version is 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5). Initially it did not find cc1 so I added a soft link. Now I get this message when I try to compile: gcc: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault (program cc1) Compiling the same program with g++ works fine. I tried reinstalling build-essential, but to no avail. What am I missing? EDIT: I tried reinstalling according to @gertyvdijk's suggestion. As it did not help, here is the output of apt-cache policy gcc-4.6: gcc-4.6: Installed: 4.6.3-1ubuntu5 Candidate: 4.6.3-1ubuntu5 Version table: *** 4.6.3-1ubuntu5 0 500 http://il.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status and the output of ls -l /usr/bin/gcc: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 Mar 13 2012 /usr/bin/gcc -> gcc-4.6 EDIT #2: here's a verbose compiler output: gcc -v aaa.c Using built-in specs. • Dynamic Bind9 + DHCP

    - by AcidRod75
i have been working on setup a server for my internal network, so far i have a working isc-dhcp-server that can upgrade a chrooted BIND9 (on the same machine), i need to add some static entries on the DNS, so users can resolve the websites that resides in our DMZ. What i had tryed all ready was to modify the /etc/bind/named.conf.local with this info: // // Do any local configuration here // // Consider adding the 1918 zones here, if they are not used in your // organization //include "/etc/bind/zones.rfc1918"; key DHCP_UPDATER { algorithm HMAC-MD5.SIG-ALG.REG.INT; secret "MySuperSecretHash"; (this is not the real value BTW) }; zone "quality.internal" IN { type master; file "/var/lib/bind/quality.internal.db"; allow-update { key DHCP_UPDATER; }; }; zone "0.10.10.in-addr.arpa" { type master; file "/var/lib/bind/rev.10.10.0.in-addr.arpa"; allow-update { key DHCP_UPDATER; }; }; logging { channel query.log { file "/var/log/named/query.log"; severity debug 3; }; category queries { query.log; }; }; --- EOF ---- then i added this 2 entries: zone "ourserver.internal" IN { type master; file "/var/lib/bind/ourserver.internal.db"; }; zone "0.16.172.in-addr.arpa" { type master; file "/var/lib/bind/rev.172.16.0.in-addr.arpa"; }; ---- EOF ---- So.. i created the files ourserver.internal.db and rev.172.16.0.in-addr.arpa placed them BOTH in /var/lib/bind/ and changed the permisions so the bind user can access them, restated the service... when i do a NSLOOKUP www.ourserver.internal i get: Server: 127.0.0.1 Address: 127.0.0.1#53 ** server can't find www.ourserver.internal: NXDOMAIN BUT when i do a reverse lookup.... Server: 127.0.0.1 Address: 127.0.0.1#53 5.0.16.172.in-addr.arpa name = www.ourserver.internal I do not understand what's wrong. Some help with this will save me from installing a new DNS server at the DMZ JUST to host internal site names- TY in advance BTW: the server i'm using has Ubuntu Server 11.10 fully patched.

  • Can't compile CentOS 5, Ruby 1.9.2 and OpenSSL 1.0.0c

I'm trying to install Ruby 1.9.2 on CentOS 5.5. I get through most of the make process, but when it tries to compile OpenSSL I get an error. I'm not a master at Linux by any means, but I was able to successfully install this version of Ruby on our dev server. Our live server is running a newer version of OpenSSL which I'm assuming is why it's breaking. Just not sure what the fix is!

  • Using AT on Ubuntu to Background Downloads (w/ Queue)

    - by Nicholas Yost
I am writing a PHP script, but I want to use the AT command in Ubuntu to fetch a remote file via WGET. I'm basically looking to background the process, so PHP can finish fairly quickly. I cannot find any questions on here about how to use both, but I basically want to do the following pseudo-code: <?php exec('at now -q queuename wget http://path.to/remote/file.ext'); ?> Additionally, I'd like to queue this between providers. I'd like to have each path.to have its own queue, so I only download one file from each provider at a time. Meaning: <?php exec('at now -q remote wget http://path.to/remote/file.ext /local/path'); exec('at now -q vendorone wget http://vendor.one/remote/file.ext /local/path'); exec('at now -q vendortwo wget http://vendor.two/remote/file.ext /local/path'); exec('at now -q vendorone wget http://vendor.one/remote/file.ext /local/path'); ?> This should download the files from path.to, vendor.one, vendor.two immediately, and when the first file is finished downloading from vendor.one, it starts the second file. Does that make sense? I can't find anything like this anywhere on the web, much less on SO/SF. If we can use the crontab to run a one-off wget command, thats fine too.

  • Ways to recover data from external hard drive

    - by Howard Benson
I use an external hard disk for backup of my mac with time machine (OS 10.5.8). I have made something wrong and I have found important folders in the recycler bin. These folders come from external hd. They are backup folders (backups.backupdb) and others. I have tried to restore them draggin and dropping. Some of them came back in the external hd in a while. For the others it takes hours to "preparing to copy" and then it has said "there's no space to copy" on ext hd. It's strange. Files are now in the recycle bin (180gb), and the ext had should have lot of free space. But it isn't really so. Ext hd is not free of space even if these files are in the bin. I ask for advices. I'm not also able to use time machine now (and i have "lost" old backups) for the same reason. Ext hd says that it has not free space.. Thanks

  • USB Hub vs. Dockinstation USB vs. Laptop USB

    - by Will
I recently had thougts about my current setup in my office, especially about the UBS ports distribution. Here's my setup: I have a Lenovo T410 docked to a Lenovo Dockingstation Series 3, that providey me with 6 USB ports, which I use all (3 ext. drives, mouse, keyboard, USB Hub of monitor). The USB hub on my ext. monitor (most probably powered by the ext. monitor's power supply) provides me with 2 USB ports, where I use one for my webcam and another for USB sticks. On my T410 itself I have 4 USB slots, that are usually not used, as don't want to mess with USB plugs when undocking my laptop, now and then I plug my printer on one of these, just because I don't have any UBS ports left. Now I'm wondering how fast each of these slots are: I assume that all the 6 USB ports from the dockinstation somehow go through the docking connector on the bottom of my laptop. Does this connector has such a big bandwidth for all these 6 USB ports to perform like if they were dedicated ports as the 4 ones on my laptop? Also how is generally the performance of USB hubs (like the one on my ext. monitor?)?

  • Why didn't 12.04 install?

    - by Josephisscrewed
Ok, so I've installed Ubuntu many times on my computer.. Normally on the same partition, and WIndows would always delete Ubuntu(I don't know how.. it just happens) if i go away from keyboard during boot and it chooses Windows automatically because I took to long. So i tried to reinstall again, but after the fifth time it wouldn't let me, and told me to check "wubi-12.04-rev266.log". It took a while to find, but when i found it, I had no idea what any of it meant, as I'm no programmer.I first tried this the day Precise Pangolin came out. SO skip ahead 2.5 months, when I finally found this file, and i then got the idea of making a new partition to install Ubuntu on, but I used wubi, like I always did. It didn't look like it would f anything up, so I did it. it went through all the downloads, extracting, etc. Which took about 40 minutes total, then ended with an error message saying to check "wubi-12.04-rev266.log". i did. • Configuration problems with django and mod_wsgi

    - by Jimbo
Hi, I've got problems on getting django to work on apache 2.2 with mod_wsgi. Django is installed and mod_wsgi too. I can even see a 404 page when accessing the path and I can login to django admin. But if I want to install the tagging module I get the following error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "setup.py", line 49, in <module> version_tuple = __import__('tagging').VERSION File "/home/jim/django-tagging/tagging/__init__.py", line 3, in <module> from tagging.managers import ModelTaggedItemManager, TagDescriptor File "/home/jim/django-tagging/tagging/managers.py", line 5, in <module> from django.contrib.contenttypes.models import ContentType File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/django/contrib/contenttypes/models.py", line 1, in <module> from django.db import models File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/django/db/__init__.py", line 10, in <module> if not settings.DATABASE_ENGINE: File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/django/utils/functional.py", line 269, in __getattr__ self._setup() File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/django/conf/__init__.py", line 40, in _setup self._wrapped = Settings(settings_module) File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/django/conf/__init__.py", line 75, in __init__ raise ImportError, "Could not import settings '%s' (Is it on sys.path? • how to use SQL wildcard % with Queryset extra>select?

    - by tylias
I'm trying to add weights to search terms I'm using to filter a queryset. Using the '%' wildcard is causing me some problems. I'm using the extra() modifier to add a weight parameter to the queryset, which I will be using to inform a sort ordering. (See http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.1/ref/models/querysets/#extra-select-none-where-none-params-none-tables-none-order-by-none-select-params-none ) Here's the gist of the code: def viewname(request) ... exact_matchstrings="" exact_matchstrings.append("(accountprofile.first_name LIKE '" + term + "')") exact_matchstrings.append("(accountprofile.first_name LIKE '" + term + '\%' + "')") extraquerystring = " + ".join(exact_matchstrings) return_queryset = return_queryset.extra( select = { 'match_weight': extraquerystring }, ) The effect I'm going for is that if the search term matches exactly, the weight associated with the record is 2, but if the term merely starts with the search term and isn't an exact match, the weight is 1. (for example, if 'term' = 'Jon', an entry with first_name='Jon' gets a weight of 2 but an entry with an entry with first_name = 'Jonathan' gets a weight of 1.) I can test the statement in SQL and it seems to work well enough. If I make this SQL query from the mysql shell, no problem: select (first_name like "Carl") + (first_name like "Car%") from accountprofile; But trying to run it via the extra() modifier in my view code and evaluating the resulting queryset gives me the following error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<console>", line 1, in <module> File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/query.py", line 68, in __repr__ data = list(self[:REPR_OUTPUT_SIZE + 1]) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/query.py", line 83, in __len__ self._result_cache.extend(list(self._iter)) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/query.py", line 238, in iterator for row in self.query.results_iter(): File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/sql/query.py", line 287, in results_iter for rows in self.execute_sql(MULTI): File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/models/sql/query.py", line 2369, in execute_sql cursor.execute(sql, params) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/backends/util.py", line 22, in execute sql = self.db.ops.last_executed_query(self.cursor, sql, params) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/django/db/backends/__init__.py", line 217, in last_executed_query return smart_unicode(sql) % u_params ValueError: unsupported format character ''' (0x27) at index 309 I've tried it escaping and not escaping % wildcard but that doesn't solve the problem. Doesn't seem to affect it at all, really. Any ideas?

I've been fighting left and right with rails 3 and bundler. There are a few gems out there that don't work properly if the rails application hasn't been loaded yet. factory_girl and shoulda are both examples, even on the rails3 branch. Taking shoulda as an example, when trying to run rake test:units I get the following error: DEPRECATION WARNING: RAILS_ROOT is deprecated! Use Rails.root instead. (called from autoload_macros at c:/code/test_harness/vendor/windows_gems/gems/shoulda-2.10.3/lib/shoulda/autoload_macros.rb:40) c:/code/test_harness/vendor/windows_gems/gems/shoulda-2.10.3/lib/shoulda/autoload_macros.rb:44:in 'join': can't convert #<Class:0x232b7c0> into String (TypeError) from c:/code/test_harness/vendor/windows_gems/gems/shoulda-2.10.3/lib/shoulda/autoload_macros.rb:44:in 'block in autoload_macros' from c:/code/test_harness/vendor/windows_gems/gems/shoulda-2.10.3/lib/shoulda/autoload_macros.rb:44:in 'map' from c:/code/test_harness/vendor/windows_gems/gems/shoulda-2.10.3/lib/shoulda/autoload_macros.rb:44:in 'autoload_macros' from c:/code/test_harness/vendor/windows_gems/gems/shoulda-2.10.3/lib/shoulda/rails.rb:17:in '<top (required)>' Digging a bit deeper into lib/shoulda/rails, I see this: root = if defined?(Rails.root) && Rails.root Rails.root else RAILS_ROOT end # load in the 3rd party macros from vendorized plugins and gems Shoulda.autoload_macros root, File.join("vendor", "{plugins, gems}", "*") So...what's happening here is while Rails.root is defined, Rails.root == nil, so RAILS_ROOT is used, and RAILS_ROOT==nil, which is then being passed on to Shoulda.autoload_macros. Obviously the rails app has yet to be initialized. With Rails3 using Bundler now, there's been some hubub over on the Bundler side about being able to specify an order in which the gems are required, but I'm not sure whether or not this would solve the problem at hand. Ultimately my questions is this: When exactly does the environment.rb file (which actually initializes the application) get pulled in? Is there any harm to bumping up when the app is initialized and have it happen before the Bundler.require line in config/application.rb? I've tried to hack bundler to specify the order myself, and have the rails gem pulled in first, but it doesn't appear to me that requiring the rails gem actually initializes the application. As this line (in config/application.rb) is being called before the app is initialized, any gem in the bundler Gemfile that requires rails to be initialized is going to tank. # Auto-require default libraries and those for the current Rails environment. Bundler.require :default, Rails.env

  • Programmatically specifying Django model attributes

    - by mojbro
Hi! I would like to add attributes to a Django models programmatically, at run time. For instance, lets say I have a Car model class and want to add one price attribute (database column) per currency, given a list of currencies. What is the best way to do this? I had an approach that I thought would work, but it didn't exactly. This is how I tried doing it, using the car example above: from django.db import models class Car(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=50) currencies = ['EUR', 'USD'] for currency in currencies: Car.add_to_class('price_%s' % currency.lower(), models.IntegerField()) This does seem to work pretty well at first sight: $ ./manage.py syncdb Creating table shop_car $ ./manage.py dbshell shop=# \d shop_car Table "public.shop_car" Column | Type | Modifiers -----------+-----------------------+------------------------------------------------------- id | integer | not null default nextval('shop_car_id_seq'::regclass) name | character varying(50) | not null price_eur | integer | not null price_usd | integer | not null Indexes: "shop_car_pkey" PRIMARY KEY, btree (id) But when I try to create a new Car, it doesn't really work anymore: >>> from shop.models import Car >>> mycar = Car(name='VW Jetta', price_eur=100, price_usd=130) >>> mycar <Car: Car object> >>> mycar.save() Traceback (most recent call last): File "<console>", line 1, in <module> File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/base.py", line 410, in save self.save_base(force_insert=force_insert, force_update=force_update) File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/base.py", line 495, in save_base result = manager._insert(values, return_id=update_pk) File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/manager.py", line 177, in _insert return insert_query(self.model, values, **kwargs) File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/query.py", line 1087, in insert_query return query.execute_sql(return_id) File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/sql/subqueries.py", line 320, in execute_sql cursor = super(InsertQuery, self).execute_sql(None) File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/models/sql/query.py", line 2369, in execute_sql cursor.execute(sql, params) File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.6/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/backends/util.py", line 19, in execute return self.cursor.execute(sql, params) ProgrammingError: column "price_eur" specified more than once LINE 1: ...NTO "shop_car" ("name", "price_eur", "price_usd", "price_eur... ^

  • ImageMagick on Mac OSX Snow Leopard. Is there any way to get it to work?

    - by ?????
It seems that I have more trouble getting standard Unix things to run on Snow Leopard than any other platform--including Windows cygwin For the past couple of days, I've been trying to get ImageMagick to run on Snow Leopard. The most obvious way, Mac Ports, fails: tppllc-Mac-Pro:ImageMagick-sl swirsky$ sudo port install imagemagick ---> Computing dependencies for p5-locale-gettext ---> Configuring p5-locale-gettext Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell command " cd "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_perl_p5-locale-gettext/work/gettext-1.05" && /opt/local/bin/perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=vendor " returned error 2 Command output: checking for gettext... no checking for gettext in -I/opt/local/include -arch i386 -L/opt/local/lib -lintl...gettext function not found. Please install libintl at Makefile.PL line 18. no Error: Unable to upgrade port: 1 Error: Unable to execute port: upgrade xorg-libXt failed Before reporting a bug, first run the command again with the -d flag to get complete output. tppllc-Mac-Pro:ImageMagick-sl swirsky$ Not wanting to spend another two days figuring out why my libintl doesn't have a "gettext" function, I tried a different route: the script mentioned here: http://github.com/masterkain/ImageMagick-sl This script downloads and installs an ImageMagic independently of MacPorts issues tppllc-Mac-Pro:ImageMagick-sl swirsky$ /usr/local/bin/convert dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libfontconfig.1.dylib Reason: Incompatible library version: libfontconfig.1.dylib requires version 8.0.0 or later, but libiconv.2.dylib provides version 7.0.0 Trace/BPT trap It downloads everything and compiles fine, but fails when I try to run it, with the message above. So now I'm two steps away from ImageMagick, trying to get a newer libiconv on my machine. I downloaded the latest libiconv, compiled and built it. I put the resulting library in /opt/local/lib, and I still get the same error message: tppllc-Mac-Pro:.libs swirsky$ sudo mv libiconv.2.dylib /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib tppllc-Mac-Pro:.libs swirsky$ convert dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libfontconfig.1.dylib Reason: Incompatible library version: libfontconfig.1.dylib requires version 8.0.0 or later, but libiconv.2.dylib provides version 7.0.0 Trace/BPT trap So here's my question: Is it possible to get ImageMagick to run on OSX Snow Leopard? Are there any binary distributions that have static libraries baked in so I don't have to worry about these issue/

  • GCC: Simple inheritance test fails

    - by knight666
I'm building an open source 2D game engine called YoghurtGum. Right now I'm working on the Android port, using the NDK provided by Google. I was going mad because of the errors I was getting in my application, so I made a simple test program: class Base { public: Base() { } virtual ~Base() { } }; // class Base class Vehicle : virtual public Base { public: Vehicle() : Base() { } ~Vehicle() { } }; // class Vehicle class Car : public Vehicle { public: Car() : Base(), Vehicle() { } ~Car() { } }; // class Car int main(int a_Data, char** argv) { Car* stupid = new Car(); return 0; } Seems easy enough, right? Here's how I compile it, which is the same way I compile the rest of my code: /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/prebuilt/linux-x86/arm-eabi-4.4.0/bin/arm-eabi-g++ -g -std=c99 -Wall -Werror -O2 -w -shared -fshort-enums -I ../../YoghurtGum/src/GLES -I ../../YoghurtGum/src -I /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/include -c src/Inheritance.cpp -o intermediate/Inheritance.o (Line breaks are added for clarity). This compiles fine. But then we get to the linker: /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/prebuilt/linux-x86/arm-eabi-4.4.0/bin/arm-eabi-gcc -lstdc++ -Wl, --entry=main, -rpath-link=/system/lib, -rpath-link=/home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib, -dynamic-linker=/system/bin/linker, -L/home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/prebuilt/linux-x86/arm-eabi-4.4.0/lib/gcc/arm-eabi/4.4.0, -L/home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib, -rpath=../../YoghurtGum/lib/GLES -nostdlib -lm -lc -lGLESv1_CM -z /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib/crtbegin_dynamic.o /home/oem/android-ndk-r3/build/platforms/android-5/arch-arm/usr/lib/crtend_android.o intermediate/Inheritance.o ../../YoghurtGum/bin/YoghurtGum.a -o bin/Galaxians.android As you can probably tell, there's a lot of cruft in there that isn't really needed. That's because it doesn't work. It fails with the following errors: intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata._ZTI3Car[typeinfo for Car]+0x0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__si_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata._ZTI7Vehicle[typeinfo for Vehicle]+0x0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__vmi_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata._ZTI4Base[typeinfo for Base]+0x0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__class_type_info' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [bin/Galaxians.android] Fout 1 These are the same errors I get from my actual application. If someone could explain to me where I went wrong in my test or what option or I forgot in my linker, I would be very, extremely grateful. Thanks in advance. UPDATE: When I make my destructors non-inlined, I get new and more exciting link errors: intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata+0x78): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__si_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata+0x90): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__vmi_class_type_info' intermediate/Inheritance.o:(.rodata+0xb0): undefined reference to `vtable for __cxxabiv1::__class_type_info' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [bin/Galaxians.android] Fout 1

  • libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib is missing in iOS 4.2.1 development SDK

    - by Kalle
Note: creating a symbolic link to use the 4.2 lib seems to work fine -- maybe cd /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2.1\ \(8C148\)/Symbols/ sudo ln -s ../../4.2 (8C134)/Symbols/Developer Request: See end of this question! After upgrading from 4.2.0 (beta, I believe) to 4.2.1, the libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib file is missing, which results in: warning: Unable to read symbols for /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2.1 (8C148)/Symbols/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib (file not found). which I guess isn't good. Looking at the directory in question I note: .../DeviceSupport/4.2 (8C134)/Symbols/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib but .../DeviceSupport/4.2.1 (8C148)/Symbols/System/ .../DeviceSupport/4.2.1 (8C148)/Symbols/usr/ the above two dirs make up all the content in the 4.2.1 folder. No "Developer" folder. Checking the /usr/ dir there, I find no libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib file in the lib dir either, so ln -s'ing isn't an option. Worth mentioning: after the upgrade, I plugged the iPad in and had to click "Use for development" in Xcode organizer. Doing so, I got a message about symbols missing for that version, and Xcode proceeded to generate such, then failed. I restored the iPad and did "Use for development" again, and nothing about missing symbols appeared... Update: deletion of /Developer and reinstallation of Xcode from scratch does not fix this issue. Update 2: I just realized that after the reinstall of Xcode, .../DeviceSupport/4.2 (8C134)/Symbols is now a symbolic link, lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 36 Dec 3 17:17 Symbols -> ../../Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS4.2.sdk And the directory in question has the appropriate files. Maybe this is simply a matter of linking the 4.2.1 dir in the same fashion? I'll try that and see if Xcode freaks out. If someone who has this file could provide a md5 sum that would be splendid. This is what it says for me: $ md5 /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2\ \(8C134\)/Symbols/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib MD5 (/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2 (8C134)/Symbols/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib) = 08f93a0a2e3b03feaae732691f112688 If the MD5 sum is identical to the output of $ md5 /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/4.2.1\ \(8C148\)/Symbols/Developer/usr/lib/libXcodeDebuggerSupport.dylib then we're all set.

  • iTunes 9.0.2 hangs on launch on Mac OS X 10.6.2

    - by dlamblin
My iTunes 9.0.2 hangs on launch in OS X 10.6.2. This doesn't happen all the time, only if I've been running for a while. Then it will recur until I restart. Similarly Safari 4.0.4 will hang in the flash player plugin when about to play a video. If I restart both these problems go away until later. Based on this crash dump I am suspecting Audio Hijack Pro. I will try to install a newer version of the driver involved, but so far I haven't had much luck. I have uninstalled the Flash Plugin (10.0.r42 and r32) but clearly I want it in the long run. This is iTunes' crash report. • Nginx http_mp4_module seam installed but dont work

    - by Tahola
    I try to use the http_mp4_module on my Ubuntu server but that didnt seem to work at all. When i check nginx -V i get : nginx version: nginx/1.1.19 TLS SNI support enabled configure arguments: --prefix=/etc/nginx --conf-path=/etc/nginx/nginx.conf --error-log-path=/var/log/nginx/error.log --http-client-body-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/body --http-fastcgi-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/fastcgi --http-log-path=/var/log/nginx/access.log --http-proxy-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/proxy --http-scgi-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/scgi --http-uwsgi-temp-path=/var/lib/nginx/uwsgi --lock-path=/var/lock/nginx.lock --pid-path=/var/run/nginx.pid --with-debug --with-http_addition_module --with-http_dav_module --with-http_flv_module --with-http_geoip_module --with-http_gzip_static_module --with-http_image_filter_module --with-http_mp4_module --with-http_perl_module --with-http_random_index_module --with-http_realip_module --with-http_secure_link_module --with-http_stub_status_module --with-http_ssl_module --with-http_sub_module --with-http_xslt_module --with-ipv6 --with-sha1=/usr/include/openssl --with-md5=/usr/include/openssl --with-mail --with-mail_ssl_module --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-auth-pam --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/chunkin-nginx-module --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/headers-more-nginx-module --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-development-kit --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-echo --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-http-push --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-lua --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-upload-module --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-upload-progress --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-upstream-fair --add-module=/build/buildd/nginx-1.1.19/debian/modules/nginx-dav-ext-module --with-http_mp4_module and --with-http_flv_module are there, I also add on sites-available/domaine.conf location ~ .mp4$ { mp4; mp4_buffer_size 4M; mp4_max_buffer_size 10M; } location ~ .flv$ { flv; } and Nginx restarted witout error, everything seem ok but when i check my urls myvideo.mp4?start=60 return a 404 error (what i think is normal) and video.mp4?starttime=60 return the video but whatever the starttime number is i get the full video from the begining, did i miss something ?
