• How can I prevent PermGen space errors in Netbeans?

  Every 15-30 minutes Netbeans shows a "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space". From what I learned from Google this seems to be related to classloader leaks or memory leaks in general. Unfortunatly all suggestions I found were related to application servers and I have no idea to adapted them to Netbeans. (I'm not even sure it's the same problem) Is it a problem in my application? How can I find the source?

I compiled simple Hello service that just prints "Hello" with JAX-WS and tried to deploy on tomcat, but got errors while deployment : ERROR - Error deploying CXF webservice for servlet helloservice.endpoint.Hello java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not find servlet helloservice in web application context /helloservice Please, help what is done wrong here.   Hi guys, I've got a problem running a batch job on my server, whereas it runs fine from Eclipse on my development workstation. I've got my Spring environment set up using Roo, made an entity, and make a batch that does some work, and test it well on my develompent box. I initialize my context and do the work, but when I run my batch on the server, the context isn't initialized properly.   I am currently running a simple EJB application using a stateless Session Bean. I am working on NetBeans 6.8 with Personal Glassfish 3.0 and I have installed on my system both the Java EE and the Java SE. • Whats happening to my HTML?

  I am making changes to my website, and I just noticed that things look different. In IE, the content doesnt center, theres a margin on my content, and the font looks bigger in chrome.. I ran it through Yahoo's HTML validator and the error I get is line 1 - Error: character "" not allowed in prolog. I believe that there may be some sort of whitespace being sent before the DOC TYPE, but I cant seem to fix it. The HTML looks fine in my text editor (Notepad++) so I dont know what the problem is. Im using a strict DOC Type. Everything was fine before I made any changes, but I cant pinpoint what caused the change. If it helps, I'm using a Framework (Kohana). My initial thought was that something was being sent to the browser by an echo or something, but I couldnt find any echo statements. I dont know what could be causing this...   It seems that we have managed to insert into our database 2 unicode characters for each of the unicode characters we want, For example, for the unicde char 0x3CBC, we've inserted the unicode equivalents for each of it's components (0xC383 AND 0xC2BC) Can anyone think of a simple solution for fixing this? I've come up with something like SELECT replace(name, CONCAT(0xC3,0x83,0xc2,0xbc), CONCAT(0xc3,0xbc)) FROM lang For the above, but don't want to have to do this for every unicode character!
